    Vegan omelette and gf toast
    Ritu D.

We came for a family brunch on a Sunday morning. They do not take reservations and request that the entire party is present to be seated... Our server was friendly and helpful. Restaurant was open and airy and had a covered patio. There was a ton of vegan options and they had gf toast. There was lots to choose from but I found it off that: No gf waffles/pancakes Home fries were not gf They could do gf French toast BUT WAIT, the vegan French toast batter had gluten. They had decaf coffee but not espresso so no decaf latte. The side salad on plates came with no dressing (oil or vinegar) They did have yummy vegan hot chocolate. They do have meat items on the menu; just scroll down past the vegan stuff. They have almond and oat milk There is a kids menu. Portions are big. Washrooms are clean. Free parking in the plaza.

Evviva Breakfast & Lunch - Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict and Western Omelette

Evviva combines brunch with an elegant presentation & experience. This restaurant offers many of the breakfast classics. We ordered both the Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict and Western Omelette to takeout and enjoy for a home occasion. Atlantic Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict comes served with herbed home fries & green salad. The perfectly runny poached egg for the Egg Benny did not disappoint. Contrast in colours between all elements is eye-pleasing too! Western Omelette is loaded with diced black forest ham, green & red peppers, onions and cheddar cheese. Good to balance with that glass of OJ to start the day! Interesting that Evviva has its own playlist which you can listen to even for takeout!

Greek omelette. Took it after a couple of bites.

We tried to get in their downtown location, but it was packed. So we finally tried the Vaughn location, realizing we had to wait about an hour for a table. I was shocked that the place looked smaller than the outside. Due to weather, they did not open the patio area. Service was great. Waitress was nice and accommodating. The washroom was decent. The food came out quickly which I appreciated since I was already hungry. The omelette was way smaller than other brunch restaurants that I go to. I just stared at the size. Puny!! The salad was nice. And I'm so glad that at least the home fries were hot and to my liking. Overall, I'm not sure if I'll go back. There are other brunch franchises out there that are better (in my opinion).

Wow. I have to say I read the reviews before going and thought it was going to be 50/50 chance of having good food/service. But I can tell you we had a great experience. The food. The service. The ambience was all great. Even the wait time on a weekend (no reservations) was short and they were busy. The manager also came by our table to check on us and had a great convo with her. So we had a great experience and would definitely come back

I've been wanting to come here for a while and now I had the opportunity to try with my friends. The food was served warm and fresh. The salmon egg benedict is a great option and very filling. There was a wait time to sit inside. Since we did the want to wait, we sat in the patio. Luckily, There is shade that covers the patio.

My honest rating for this place is actually a 2.5. Second visit here and it wasn't any different than the first. Ditry table w.sticky juice stains. Random strands of hair stuck to our table. An employee was "wiping" the community condiment bottles but only the caps...really? Do you need 101 on how to throughly sanitize and wipe things down?? Especially during this time, cleanliness is evvvverything!! Overall service was so slow. Over 6 minutes of being seated and no one came by to greet us. It was a Monday. Not Saturday. Staff seemed what friendly but most walked around kind of mopey and glopey. They smile only at your table and the minute they leave, its instantly straight poker face. Only 1 male wait staff was seen smiling and happy to be there the Monday morning. The first visit, even though we sat outside and it was a chilly Saturday morning, our food still came out cold. The homefries were requested well done but it was cold. Hollandaise sauce was cold. I thought it'd atheist be somewhat warm, but maybe this place serves it cold. We were tight on time so we just inhaled our food and left. The second visit was on Monday. Wasn't too busy with lots of seating inside and outside. We opted for inside this time. Food came out much better but the toasts looked like it was buttered by a 4 year old. A sloppy slab in the middle then cut in half. You're served overly toasted or rock hard stale bread with a tony dollup or smudge of butter in the 1 bite/centre. We threw most of it out. Overall food rating is solid 2.5/5. After attempting this establishment 2x I think that's plenty of a go. I'd skip this place and head onto Kotsy's or even Cora's. Sorry Evviva, but hopefully you can tweak things up and keep the business thriving.

We've come to have brunch and as you walk in the place looks really pretty! It is a little bit noisy though. I ordered Montreal Lox with home style fries and it was delicious. Overall everything was fine until we got the bill and the waiter notified us that they cannot accept cards at the moment. So she asked for cash or suggested for us to go to a bank nearby to get the cash. Well, that was communicated abruptly and not client-oriented, as well as the suggested so this was disappointing.

Been going to Evviva quite a few times and best breakfast place!! Excellent service too. The French Toast is a must to try but today I ordered the Chicken Mozzarella Pesto. It hit the spot beautifully.

I have always been willing to check this place out since I heard about their Doug McNish plant based menu. Usually it's crowded but finally I was able to get in. I love the grand slam breakfast. Never had such great plant based sausage and bacon since Mythology / Doug's public kitchen. Sunny side eggs are photogenic and nice to try, though I would recommend scrambled tofu. Nice patio and wonderful service. I would surely come back for their lunch menu.

They say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day...I wouldn't recommend this breakfast place as your important first meal. Overly priced food with watered down hot chocolate. The only food I enjoyed was the breakfast potato and bacon.

Hot chocolate and freshly squeezed mimosa

Cute breakfast spot. I visited Sunday after two and there was no wait. The staff is friendly the decor is cute and girly. The mimosa is delish made with freshly squeezed oranges. I ordered the ham, bacon, sausage and eggs lol yea you get all three and my mom ordered the evviva sandwich. Both filing dishes that came with breakfast potatoes. The wait was not long. And the portions were decent. I enjoyed my breakfast nothing fancy just right and hit the spot!

And yes I visited Evviva on my trip to Toronto and for what it's worth it's a 4 star. Nice Ambiance very picturesque for ladies service was great and food came on time. Tasted as good too I didn't really like the blue berries on the toast but the home fries were to snatch for! overall I recommend for first timers just to get the experience or to say you've been there.

Steak and eggs on the menu. Cooked medium with sunny side up eggs, arugula salad, toast and home fries.

The service is incredible here, and the vibe is cool-chic. Just loving the atmosphere here…read more As for the food, don't expect it to be a "traditional Izakaya" here, but that's not a bad thing. They do the "traditional" dishes with a twist / fusion. For example, the black cod is usually feel heavy with the miso based sauce, but they added some acidity to the sauce and they made the black cod taste rich and light (not to mention the black cod was perfectly cooked); traditionally the Brussels Sprouts would be finished by tossing balsamic vinegar over it. Sometimes that would still feel heavy. Instead, they tossed it with strawberry vinaigrette. So the acidity is very light and not too sweet. We finished our meal with the Yokai Signature Maki. Yes, they SHOULD be proud of this Maki enough to put their name on it. They hit it on the nail with the taste profile. I have a zero tolerance with spiciness, so they put the spicy mayo on the side, and I encouraged my wife to dip the Maki with it. She confirmed my suspicion that the spicy mayo took the maki to another level. We definitely will come to try other dishes. Edit: they comped us a slice of Matcha Cheesecake. While it is still not my cup of tea, but I was very impressed with how good it taste. My "dislike" is with cheesecakes because they feel heavy. Though it is still on the heavy side for me, but as soon as I spoon in a bit of the strawberry sauce, it just lightened up the whole thing. They have successfully amazed me with how well they play with taste.

Yokai is amazing - nestled in Vaughan we come here for the sliders, tartare and sapporos…read more My only down side is the pricing is quite premium for the food you're getting with small portion sizes. Probably 20% higher than what I personally think the pricing should be. Nevertheless, if I'm in the area I'll be there.

The space is split into two sections front and back with the bar/ vip section. It wasn't as busy when I arrived but nonetheless the vibes were great. The music wasn't too loud that you cannot maintain a conversation. They have the regular shisha flavours like double apple, mint etc. They also have other special flavours like island breeze which cost $32/shisha. They do charge for extra coal, the shisha comes well prepared and ready to be smoked. It was a smooth, flavourful & enjoyable experience. Now one thing I have to note, their menus is fixed, you cannot convince them to make any altercation to any item on the list nor request items (drinks) which aren't on the menu. That leads me to my next point, you cannot order sides unless you order a main. I personally don't understand why. One may not necessarily want to have a full meal late into the night but nonetheless they would not budge. The weekends are busy, reservation's recommended and they follow a strict dress code. I do believe they are setting a precedent and catering to a demographic as more of an upscale Lounge. The service was great, server was attentive but also apologetic as she was bound to a strict menu. Worth checking out for the vibes.
