What I really loved about this place was the aesthetics, the ambiance, the music, the mood lighting. It was clean, lots of seating available which consists of love seats & chairs. The space is split into two sections front and back with the bar/ vip section. It wasn't as busy when I arrived but nonetheless the vibes were great. The music wasn't too loud that you cannot maintain a conversation. They have the regular shisha flavours like double apple, mint etc. They also have other special flavours like island breeze which cost $32/shisha. They do charge for extra coal, the shisha comes well prepared and ready to be smoked. It was a smooth, flavourful & enjoyable experience. Now one thing I have to note, their menus is fixed, you cannot convince them to make any altercation to any item on the list nor request items (drinks) which aren't on the menu. That leads me to my next point, you cannot order sides unless you order a main. I personally don't understand why. One may not necessarily want to have a full meal late into the night but nonetheless they would not budge. The weekends are busy, reservation's recommended and they follow a strict dress code. I do believe they are setting a precedent and catering to a demographic as more of an upscale Lounge. My husband and I aren't from Canada, but we were on vacation. We decided to visit this one lounge that was nearby our hotel since our original plan failed due to the place being super packed. It was Thursday night, pretty quiet and chill. No one was really there which was nice. Kind of got to enjoy ourselves in a more quiet setting. We got greeted right away and was seated in a "VIP" area which it seemed to be. The lounge is pretty spacious. We got seated next to the bar, and our server was nice. He made sure we were good our whole time there. We ordered one hookah, a mojito, a beer and some poutine fries. (Note: we're not from Canada so we had to try some poutine lol) When we got our drinks, they were alright. My mojito seemed like it was either watered down or there just wasn't enough alcohol in it, husbands beer was your average beer. When we got the hookah, it looked nice and there were extra coals which were nice. I was kind of blown with the hookah, didn't like the hose they used and the smoke was weak - it needs bigger coals or more than 2 small coals for the smoke to be "milky"/ good. We managed to use the other two coals along w the other two that were already on there for a good smoke. But the flavor was spot on, very fruity and slightly minty. I can't remember what it was called but it was def one of the mixes. The poutine fries were pretty darn good, considering they were pretty basic and we never tried them before. The reason why I gave this place a 4 star review instead of a 3, was because of the bartender that brought over our stuff, Serena. She was super nice and friendly from the start. We're from out of town as I mentioned before. And we asked her what are some things to do in the area, places to go to, etc. She gave us many good pointers and advice and we truly appreciate that considering it was our first time in Canada. First impression: outside looks really sketchy, but it's pretty cozy inside! Decent shisha spot, they have a variety of flavours to offer for decent prices. This is my fourth time making the drive out here and it's because of the shisha! I like that they have comfortable couches and the staff is friendly. The thick cut garlic bread is good, they've made it a bit fancy by putting some vegetables on top which helps since it gives it a bit of flavour... I also ordered the jalapeño poppers and they tasted quite fresh, fries were delicious. The deep fried Oreo dessert was missing a little bit of batter but overall it paired well with the vanilla ice cream. The service is a little slow but that's probably because our server tonight was manning a whole section at the beginning, I will be honest I was typing this review as the night was going to capture all the moments. Our party of 4 were patiently waiting for our food for over 30 mins and at this point I was a little surprised why it's take them this long for a few appetizers... What I really appreciated was when a gentleman approached us and inquired whether we had received everything that we had ordered, once we let him know that we'd been waiting for a while, he ensured that we would get our orders within the next 5 mins and we did. A few minutes later the same gentleman came back to ensure that we were satisfied with the quality of food we received, which we were, and then told us to ask for him when we cash out because he wanted to compensate us for the wait. I was not expecting this level of spectacular customer service! It's not about the compensation, but the fact that you cared enough to come by twice to ensure customer satisfaction. The music is usually top 40 and has a more club feel rather than a shisha lounge. Plus side is that they have billiards, table tennis and video games available. Love this shisha lounge. I come here almost 3 times a week. The service is great!! The server and the owners are super friendly. They will always make sure you get the best service. The owners will check on each booth multiple times a night to make sure they got what they needed. Be aware, since this is one of the only shisha lounges that offer booze, there's been multiple times when I witnessed extremely drunk people dragged out of the lounge into the parking lot. There's always tons of young drunk people in the parking lot when they close as well. This place is very spacious. I love the ambiance inside. If you come on a non weekend night, it's usually empty inside and you can get any booth you like and have access to the pool table without waiting. There's usually tons of 19 years olds and teenagers here on weekdays. On weekends, it will be so packed and you might only get a seat at the bar until a booth is available. The DJ is great on the weekend as well. Their beers are reasonably priced. They have beer on tap which is a bonus. Many shisha lounges don't have beer on tap. Their liquor is watered down. I had their liquor on multiple occasions and it's basically a watered down drink with mostly ice. The food is mediocre. I wouldn't recommend anything from here other than appetizers and dessert. Great place to hang out although it is slightly different than other Sheesha Lounges. Fume has decided to go with more of a club like feel which I personally don't like all that much. Asides from that the service was good, all the servers who were working that night appeared to be friendly. In terms of the actual Sheesha it isn't bad, they have a variety of flavours and house mixes to choose from. Their heads are also fairly priced compared to other places I've been to. If Sheesha isn't your poison they also offer alcoholic drinks which is a first for me, usually other places don't have that combination. I had a horrible experience, I'm never going back. I came here for my birthday with 8 friends. I repeat 8 friends and they could not accommodate us with empty tables visible. Groove night long on the massive dance floor, dancing all night to the music of some of the best DJ's in town. A couple friends and I went to Fume to catch up and have fun. It was our first time attending this bar/lounge. I read good reviews and wanted to see if it true. First thing I notice entering this establishment was the horrible weird odur. It hard to describe, but the place smelled bad. Secondly, the service at this bar was horrible. I had the worst experience. A large group of us went on a late Saturday night and the workers there expected us to sit in a small booth together when their were multiple spots available. When we mentioned that to the workers, they refused to seat us There. After almost 20 min of going back and forth about this situation, the couple sitting next to our booth said we can share their space with them since they were leaving soon. When I approached the owner (who was very rude) and told him my concern, he told me "this is how we are running our service tonight". I felt attacked and isolated. When I explained that no one else has been treated like this, he did not care at all. I was not treated equally and It was not appreciated.
