I have never been treated as rudely by someone answering the phone in a "service" organization as I was today. Linda, who answers the phone, continually spoke over me when I asked her three times to listen to what I had to say about my tractor. Each time I began speaking, she refused to listen and continued to talk. When I realized I wasn't being heard, I finally hung up and contacted management. Lansdowne-Moody in Hockley has had my tractor for A MONTH and we have been VERY patient. We called several times only to be told it would be soon. Miraculously enough when I finally contacted management today, "it's ready to be delivered." I spoke with the manager and let him know the customer service was unaccepatable and a customer is to be heard, not spoken over as I was today. He said he agreed and would have my tractor delivered today. Communication at this location needs great improvement, as does their work ethic to return a customer's equipment to them in a timely manner. read more

Rudest lady I ever met!! I know there is a pandemic going and everyone is very confused and scared but to be rude to someone cause she walked in the door cause you couldn't find them and then decided to Argue with them about a gate being closed/half closed doesn't matter. They have a history of not returning phone calls. The story goes like this..."I'm helping another customer right now and they just added to thier order. Give me your number and I'll call right back." You will not hear from them. They remind me of way back when Houston Lighting and Power was the only electric company in town. You just get what they decide to give you. read more

This place is managed by pure incompetence. It took 26 days to get a replacement tire for a one year old model of zero turn mower because the worthless manager didn't bother to place the order, and then lied and said the tire was not in stock anywhere. The manager is also as lazy as he is fat, and will try to send customers to other employees simply because he doesn't want to do his job and help customers. None of he employees knows what the warranty THEY SELL actually covers. Asking them to look it up is like asking them to read Sanskrit. I have never been in an establishment where every employee spent more effort passing off a customer to another employee than what they put in to helping the customer. STAY AWAY ! Also, make sure you check the "not recommended" reviews for more honest reviews that have been hidden to falsely help this place's star rating. DONT BE FOOLED. read more

At least on the surface the previous reviews seem to be on point. I have a New Holland Subcompact 30hp tractor that needs service. I called multiple times to speak with service but it just rang and I was rerouted back to the main line. The person who answered the phone was polite and each time took my number down and assured me I would get a call back prior to closing. Nobody ever called me back, so I guess that is a good indicator of what to expect. Very unfortunate especially considering the time span of poor service indicators on the previous reviews. Service at this store, Hwy 290, dishonest people, poor service and bad communication. THEY REPLACE PARTS THAT DO NOT NEED TO BE REPLACED. The service manager, Spencer Court, refuses to speak with customers...rather has store employees speak with to tell you that they will not to stand behind their warranties. I've bought my last tractor from them! I WILL GO ANYWHERE ELSE. Do your research, talk to people around you...if I had, I wouldn't have given them any business. They're wasting too much money paying their service manager, who refuses to communicate with customers, to be able to stand behind their products!! read more

Very disappointed. Brought a chainsaw in for a pull string not working wanted to get cost to fix. I get call saying carb is clogged etc which is funny because I drain the fuel every time and use non ethanol fuel and never asked for that to be looked at any way. After hearing the price it was still 40 dollars to look at something I never asked to be looked at. I have never bought anything from here before, but have heard okay service from other that do so I gave them a try. My family owns a very large ranch and serval friends that buy tractors etc from here will be notified. Actually, a good friend pull away on buying a zero radius mower today because of this. Business trade off 10 grand plus for 40 bucks service bill that doesn't mean anything especially when looking into something that was never ask too. read more
