Azure products are phenomenal, so I can't fault them for carrying them, especially since, from what I could tell, they were items like whole grains for milling at home and that's just not really an option to find locally sourced in Alaska. There appeared to be several other fruits & vegetables that were not from their farm, but I'm still a HUGE fan and will continue to not only shop there but also recommend them every chance I get!

They have a beautiful 12 yr old clematis right inside the door (not for sale but so pretty when it blooms) as well as a great selection of bedding plants, perennials, herbs, & veggies. They also do pre-order hanging baskets that are amazing - but I've heard they have a waiting list and pretty much someone has to "will you" their spot on the list - they're that popular. This year they have the citronella geraniums that are great for keeping the mosquitos away. Their prices are in line with all of the other nurseries and greenhouses around the Valley. And if you compare the price and quality with Fred's or Walmart, the local greenhouses have such better plants. They're not out too early in the elements, over sunned, or lacking water & care. The plants I've gotten here the last several years have been great.

I told her that lot of people are concerned about eating and growing healthy food. She just gave me a clueless look. She is either very ignorant or just doesn't care about customers concerns. Either way horrible manager in my opinion. Will never ship there.

My favorite was the tiny plants in the painted pots, tiny like the size of a quarter. Very cute! The staff was so friendly and the store was full of amazing plants. My wife and I solicited quotes from 3 other landscaping companies before settling on Faltz…read moreLandscaping. The 3 others met us at our home and listened to our ideas and took measurements of the areas to be landscaped. Within a week we received quotes from two of the other companies that just parroted back our ideas without any design drawings or detail. The third company jerked us around for 3 additional weeks before telling us they were too busy and gave us a baseless and wildly expensive "estimate" for next year. In contrast, Josie Blumenthal from Faltz came to our house twice to sketch the area, take dimensions and develop our design ideas. On the 2nd trip she took aerial photos with a drone and prepared a concept design based upon our ideas. At our third meeting, Ben Brown, Faltz Landscape Architect, who was mentoring Josie, joined the Team and proposed some new design concepts that we liked a lot. We signed a contract and within a week the Faltz crew was on site. The 3-man crew were experienced, polite and professional. Most of the time while the work was in progress, either Josie, Ben or both were on site, assuring the work was in conformance with the plan. At the end of every workday, the crew cleaned our yard and driveway. Three days later the work was complete. The final product far exceeded our expectations, and we are very happy with the entire Faltz Team, especially Ben and Josie. We felt that Faltz provided a superior product and good value. We'd highly recommend Faltz for your landscape needs.

I had a question about whether they carried particular plants and the young gal at the counter didn't know the answer. The older blonde lady seemed like helping was out of her league. Nobody knew a thing at the counter and instead of trying to help, she just said no we don't have what you're looking for and continued talking to an older dark haired lady. When I asked her where I might find the plants I wanted, she said she didn't know. Then just kept talking it up. Then they started talking Spanish while looking at me. Talk about rude. Bells Nursery and Mile 5.2 Greenhouse had what I wanted and were so much nicer. Not only that, but everyone looked disheveled at Falz. Like they had been through a battle and just woke up. No thank you.
