But, we still drop in quite regularly to see what other variations there are. She is into plants. I am not. But, a while back, the owners had 4 new barn cats. I always walk in and make it a mission to find all 4. The black one is the shy one and is usually the hardest to find. Brazil is the easiest. Lately, I havent been able to find them though. Multiple staff members treated me as though I were invisible. When I was acknowledged, I was spoken to in a condescending, belittling tone, as though I lacked the basic intelligence to have a conversation. Staff spoke about me negatively while I was standing right there. The was racism, deliberate, consistent, and witnessed by other customers who were treated the same way. No one should walk into a business and be made to feel less than human. Spend your money somewhere that actually respects you.

Stradler Nurseries came to plant trees on the border between my HOA (Armistead Park) and the HOA next door (Fairfax Landing). As I walked home from dropping my kids off at school at about 9:30am yesterday, I saw a Stradler employee with his coworker picking fruit off my tree and pocketing them IN BROAD DAYLIGHT! Keep in mind that I have a sign saying not to pick because it is stealing. As I approached, they quickly walked away so I could not talk to them, but one of the employees came back the next day with his boss so I confronted him then. After confirming they work for Stradler Nurseries, the employee suddenly said he couldn't speak English. Finally, the employee admitted he was at my house but he was "just looking at the fruit" but not stealing them. The boss repremanded his employee but took no other action. But then why did he gave giant orange fruit in his hands as he walked away?? I'm very disappointed in this company.

From the start, Tile Center made this piece of our process easy and pleasant, and we love the outcome. As project manager, Joe was incredibly helpful and easy to communicate with. He came to our house very quickly after our initial outreach, returned later with grout samples, and walked us through options at the showroom. He always responded quickly to emails and texts. He helped us navigate tile shortages and advised us when we needed to order from a third party. Thomas, the installer, was also fantastic. His work is beautiful, and on top of that, he was just incredibly lovely to be around. He not only tolerated, but was awesomely kind to, our very loud and unhelpful dog! He also went above and beyond dealing with various issues that arose. James, who came on one of the days, was also great. On top of everything else, we really appreciated how both Joe and Thomas worked things out so that we could live in the house throughout the installation. The parking lot is small, but it's not needed to be any larger since the traffic was minimal both times I visited. It's nice that the entrance is off the main road and it's easier to exit, especially with large trucks that frequent there.

Their discount pricing was similar to stores like Wayfare, overstock, HomeGoods, HomeSense, at home, etc. I did receive a blue ticket that allowed me to receive a small or medium piece of artwork for free, no purchase necessary. That motivated me to go back upstairs and look at the artwork. As a result, I ended up buying two additional pieces of art, so that promotional incentive worked on me. The prices for the rugs are way way way overpriced. Especially because it appeared that many of them were used and dirty. The lamps and the artwork were reasonably priced with decent selection. Staff have been knowledgeable and helpful.
