We have had monthly pest control services from Exceed Pest Defense for a couple of years now. Living in the desert, we knew we'd occasionally come across pests, but nothing prepared me for the fear I would feel when neighbors started complaining about scorpions in their homes due to some recent construction just outside our community shaking up the dirt. I about lost it when we found one in our kitchen! We had a different pest company at the time and I felt completely disregarded by them when I expressed my fear. Just then, I saw the Exceed truck outside my neighbors house and approached the technician to see if they had time to do my house as well and they obliged - they comforted me and sensed my urgency especially with a crawling infant in my home. Since then, they've been nothing but courteous, friendly, communicative and anytime I've had a one off problem I just give them a call and they come out within 24 hours. They always send a text the night before letting me know the time window that they'll be coming out and what the technicians name is. I have been very satisfied with their service. read more

I spoke to Alex, the Manager, who was extremely rude and unprofessional. I have been using their service for 5 years with okay results with previous techs. I had repeatedly asked for 2 years to be put on a schedule instead the technician messaged once for the next day. I said I couldn't do it so they cancelled my service. Alex said I would now have to pay a start up fee of $135.00 because I was an unreliable customer since I didn't chase them down and call every couple months when they didn't show up or make contact. Apparently they don't need any customers so go where you are valued. Save yourself the grief and hassle. If I knew the management, Alex, was so unprofessional I would have never used them. read more

I called Exceed Pest control because I have a pigeon nest on my roof. They came out right away to take a look. The tech said they would contact us the next day. After 2 days they hadn't called. When I called them they said they had to have a manager call. When he called he said they couldn't remove the nests because it was slightly under our pool solar. They wasted 3 days of our time. We also indicated we were looking for a bi monthly bug company as well. They must be doing well in this economy because they apparently don't need our money. read more

This company was recommended by a neighbor via a Ring app. I am so glad I chose Exceed Pest Defense to rid of wasps in my backyard. From the initial contact with the scheduler to a conversation with the manager and the tech who did the initial inspection and service, all of my interactions have been very positive. They sprayed the trees, found 7 wasp nests (the tech was very through) and the service came with a 30-day warranty. The chemicals used are pet friendly. EXCEED PEST CONTROL has done a stellar job from the very start! Every single person they send to our home to do the spraying has been genuinely helpful, polite and very professional in every way. We had a a specific issue at the onset which was easily remedied by asking a few questions and the proper formula was administered immediately as requested. We have been on a first name basis with the spray man who comes to our home monthly and we can only say the best things about the service and their employees. The only one issue I've ever had was with the website when it came time to pay the bill. I had problems finding exactly where on the website to pay the actual bill. I called and had to pay it by phone. There must be an easier way to do it once you're on the website. Otherwise, no complaints with the service or the employees at all. I had service on July 2rd and I found out ants trails in my kitchen on Aug 5th. My house has no ants problem, no roaches nor rats problem before this service. I was just want to believe in professional service. I request them either to fix it do second service or give me a refund. They rejected me and told me I got one time service and it has over 30 days warranty!? Folks, we can spray every 30 days ourselves by the products we can buy from Costco. Why we need professional pest control company? I had no ants showed in my house and after their 32 days spray I found ants trail?? Don't go with this company. This is not acceptable. read more

So we live in an area that unfortunately rats like to invade. A huge disgusting rat recently decided to take up residency in our attic so we had to get someone out ASAP to correct the problem. Alex and his professional team did an excellent job getting rid of Bees that nested inside our rock fountain. I didn't want to kill the bees but we had no choice they were deep inside and were numbered in the hundreds. Alex's guy put on the complete Bee suit and eliminated all the bees safely. We were thoroughly happy with the job that Richard, Alex, and I'm sorry I did not get the name of the third person, who was very knowledgeable about birds, in taking care of the horrendous problem we were having with pigeons nesting under our solar panels. It's a tough job under an unrelenting hot Las Vegas sun. They came on time as scheduled and worked diligently, first cleaning, then applying steel wire mesh around the solar panels and then finally sanitizing the area. They even applied wire mesh under the eaves that we never even thought of doing. That was totally unexpected and sincerely appreciated. And the price was fair. I don't often take time to write reviews, but I felt obligated to write one that acknowledges the great work by Exceed Pest Defense. I want to give credit where credit is due, of course, as well as help other people who might wind up with a nasty rodent problem like the one we encountered. Not long before Christmas - and a huge Christmas Eve party - my wife and I started hearing little scrabbly sounds right above the high ceilings of our bedroom. Sure enough, as we would later learn, a roof rat had begun taking refuge in the attic as the temperatures nose-dived in December. Alex from Exceed Pest Defense came out on very short notice, identified the source of the problem and clearly explained the recommended "corrective" measures (which included sealing off the vent that provided access to our house), and then conducted the work for a reasonable price. When the intruder initially eluded the traps, Alex came out and made a number of adjustments that seem to have resolved the issue once and for all. Along the way, Alex was eminently courteous, informative, personable, and diligent in executing his work. His customer service was exceptional - especially by Las Vegas standards - and I appreciate that he made several unplanned adjustments to accommodate our crazy holiday schedule. I had a pigeon problem. Alex came out, assessed the problem and gave me a written proposal. I felt the price was fair so Alex and Daniel came out, cleaned the areas of pigeon activity. They fenced the nesting areas, sanitized and painted the areas where the pigeons had caused damage. [Note to Yelp: Why can't I give 6 out of 5 stars?]. Now let's talk about Exceed. During a recent housesitting stint, we realized the owners had bedbugs. That was the nightmare!! Exceed (specifically Heidi & Kris) came to our rescue immediately!! Seriously, Exceed was like the "Nightmare Police" swooping in and reducing the stress and panic level from 10 down to 1. This nasty discovery happened at about 3am on a Saturday morning. Home owners were out of town on vacation. Started making pest control company inquiries early Saturday morning. Heidi was super-responsive, very understanding and just plain awesome!! Though Exceed was booked up for Saturday, Heidi managed to fit us in anyway!! Other pest companies were telling me Tuesday or Wednesday, just for the initial inspection. [NB. Seems like most pest businesses are closed on Sundays]. So...we got same day inspection and then Exceed did some scheduling magic to get us the actual treatment on Monday!! Also, I have equal praise for Kris, the technician who did both the initial room-by-room bedbug inspection as well as the BB treatments and the 2 week follow up. Kris was extremely kind, caring, professional and fully sympathetic. His knowledge coupled with his thorough inspection of the ENTIRE 2000 sq foot house gave me peace and assurance that I lucked upon the right company with Exceed!! "Luck" is probably the wrong word because I read all of their great reviews ahead of time. Still, we were so fortunate to have such amazing and immediate service in a town where mediocre is often the most one can hope for. Nothing mediocre about Exceed!! Kris gets one day off per week and he was kind enough to give me his cell # incase I had any extermination preparation questions on (his one day off) Sunday. So one of the things you don't want sharing your home are rats!! While sitting in my kitchen one day I hear scratching overhead. Also my son's little dog was growling at the ceiling. So after searching Yelp, I had a company come and gave me an estimate of $1400!!! What? To catch a rat??? Sorry I can't print what my husband said. So I called Exceed Pest Defense and Alex came out, inspected my home and told me how he though rats were getting in. He did a wonderful job making sure we would not have a pigeon problem. Rich filled in the spaces on my roof and painted the tiles to match the rest of the roof.
