And best of all, no more crack, and my life is clearly on the upswing now that my windshield has its act together. Highly recommend them if you want fast, reliable service with a personal touch.

Trusting their word, we moved forward with the job. Just a few hours after installation, insurance did approve OEM parts. I told the shop right away that I was unhappy with the result, especially since their advice turned out to be completely false. Even after insurance contacted the shop and confirmed that OEM parts were approved, the shop refused to correct the job--saying it was already done. They also promised the new windows would match the originals, but they don't. The tint is visibly different. The shop said they'd send a virtual e-gift card to help cover the cost of correcting the tint, but that never happened either. This experience felt rushed and misleading. I'm extremely disappointed--especially after finding out the shop told insurance that we were "happy" with the aftermarket parts. That's simply not true. We were misled into thinking aftermarket was our only option, and we expressed our dissatisfaction the very same day the job was completed. I would not recommend this shop to anyone--unless they are willing to make this right by reinstalling the OEM windows that insurance approved. I genuinely hope someone from the shop reaches out to resolve this properly.

I have been to this business twice, and when I went today I thought maybe last time was just off…read morefor them. It has to be better service today. No. It didn't have to be better and it wasn't. Didn't write the review before but am going to take my time with this. Hope I save others from my mistake. To me, everything about this place screams we get lots of insurance work and don't really have to do anything well. Or maybe they just overbook their services and make customers deal with it. The summary: - Poor communication (over-communication ahead of appt and yet give no details on key points) - Lack of dedicated people for customer take-in/service - Slowest interactions imaginable - All their ads talk about how they can come to you and yet, more and more cars have cameras & that has to be taken in. Let me give all the notes from this visit so you will see what I mean. Made the appt Friday when my insurance cleared the replacement -- scheduled for Monday afternoon. Am sure they have people flake on them, but they way overused texting for reminders. I got at least one a day and I had to confirm the confirmed appointment on the first text. They also called and sent three emails before the appointment. You would think they are trying to offer customer service but it just feels like overkill only to have no service minded person on site. I get there 10 minutes early for the appointment they said in all the comms would be 2.5-3 hours. Walk through all the intake and asked if the driver could drop me at the Starbucks a block away (didn't want to cross Page on foot cause folks be crazy). They said they can't and looked at me like I was insane for asking. I just asked another customer who Midwest Nice was happy to drop me. (5 star review for the strangers in the black Volvo who were so nice.) They said they had gotten a new windshield on Friday, Were back because the calibration of the computer camera and all didn't take. They were there for multiple hours both days. They made me really happy I didn't choose to wait in the really boring area or crummy folding chairs for the full afternoon. I enjoyed the time getting some lunch (separate review coming) They said they would provide updates. Car was dropped at 2 pm. Got the first "update" at 2:56 pm. At 2:58 they texted they were wrapping up and at 3:08 they texted it was complete. I thought I must be the luckiest person ever and headed back. Still, if they finished in 1 hour this time, why schedule 2.5-3 hours? A customer was waiting at the window when I came back. I stood behind him and waited. Finally asked about the wait & said good luck. No lie, we waited 15 minutes without anyone asking if they could help. Saw one guy who was helping someone else. Finally someone came and the guy who was standing in line said he had left just to quickly fill the gas tank (one text said they would need to drive the car to calibrate so bring the car 3/4 full - full of gas. No mention that it was so the weight was right). The person walked to the back and eventually came back and told the customer he'd have to come another day because his appt was at 3 and it was 3:30 now. He said it was his second time there. I absolutely wanted to say and I've been waiting behind him for 15-20 minutes so come on folks but I wanted my car so just stood there as he scheduled another appointment. (what about all that left over time from my appt too?) When he finally left, the person who had helped him was doing something and there was still one person "helping another client." I finally said can someone just get me my car? After a minute or two, one said excuse me? I said I just want to pick up my car. It is supposed to be ready. At this point they apologized and said they thought the other guy was helping me. I never saw that guy look up from the computer he was on. The quality of the work seems ok -- though it seemed the lane assist thing should have been on. I will add, I complained over the inundation of texts for this over the weekend and a friend replied she bet she'd just picked her car up from the same company. Also, they failed to replace her wiper blades despite he paying the added fees. (PS -- they offer cheaper prices for the wipers, etc in store than at the time of scheduling.) I will be looking for another service provider next time. The insurance company works through this shop directly but it gave me an option to use another provider. I will absolutely take that option next time and will be looking at yelp reviews to see.

During recent tornados in Saint Louis my son had debris strike his front windshield. I checked coverage, but it was close enough to my deductible I cash paid. I arrived at the time of my appointment and was immediately take care of. It was explained by the tech that wipers and a window treatment was included, however it's really, it's à la cart. You're not forced to get either. If all included it jacks up the cost and also not covered by insurance, only glass. I had my wipers inspected and decided to move forward with replacing both. The window treatment only last 60 days and is cost prohibitive in my opinion. The tech was nice and completely explained the process. There is a comfortable and clean waiting room with TV and restroom. Staff is available to discuss the status of your car. The wait time was provided as appropriate two hours and was just under this with easy install of no extras on the install. The same friendly tech went over the installation and care. The tape remains on for two hours and no high pressure directly on the glass for 24 hours. My only complaint was my quote from dealer and Safelite was around $100 difference not in my favor. The convenience of scheduling quickly at Safelite however won out and was appreciated. I would return, but would not get the pricey window treatment and do myself.
