I had the fun experience of hitting a deer - and insurance got involved. Excel got the parts quickly and told me it will be done by the following Friday. I got a call Thursday saying they just needed to detail the car and I'll be good to go. Picked up the car Friday, and it looked great. The car was detailed nicely. Customer service is great, I had a slight issue but they took care of it. While I hope I never need their services again for an accident, I'll use them if I need paint or body work done. I was rear-ended for the first time, and my rear bumper was destroyed. I looked through every single auto body shop on the insurance company's list, and decided to go here. I'm sooo happy I did! Not only did they do a great job, but they went above and beyond for me. I was supposed to be picked up by the rental car agency, but an hour, still nothing. They stayed open late so I wouldn't have to stand outside, and decided to use their personal vehicle to deliver me to the rental car agency. Now, that alone impressed me, but they also filed a complaint on my behalf. My car looks great, was returned fully cleaned inside and out, and their customer service is just impeccable. Went in for an accident to get some body repair work. The staff were very friendly and went ABOVE and BEYOND. I couldn't be happier with the results of my repair. They even cleaned the inside and outside of my car (wash, wax, rims, tires, etc) when I went to pick it up. I have never had a auto service do so much extra than what I had expected. I went today 8/22/16 to get an estimate of the damage on my front fender and hood. The dent on the fender was about Half the size of an infant's fist. There was also a small crease on the hood, so two parts needed attention. He was very interested in getting the vehicle's registration number, I guess this info let's him know if I was paid for the damages and how much. He had me seated away from his computer after several minutes he informed me that it would be 899,76 as the total cost. I was deeply disappointed. The charge had nothing to do with the size of the repair. read more

Survived three teenage drivers and I have used a few go-to body shops from high end to basic. Excel was a solid referral from a trusted mechanic and tire guys and they were 100% right.Excel understands service. Excel completed a major collision repair,. Insurance work, new Civic rear-ended by an Explorer. Had front end damage as well. Sitting at red in left turn lane.Five cars involved, ouch. Driver for the Explorer covered by MetlLife. Their insurance adjuster had worked with Excel, completely comfortable. Damage was about 40% of value. Quality repair work, delivered on time. Since the repair, the Civic has been on the road for a year. No issues. Infiniti just was dinged in a parking lot, one of life's less pleasant surprises. Relatively smaller repair, out of pocket, no insurance claim. Shopped two other body shops referred by friends. Both reputable, both were higher than Excel by 25% and 40%. Excel delivered a day earlier than promised and the car looks great. BTW, I noticed that Excel is certified to do insurance work for many companies. Tips. Check the map and make sure you have good directions or you may not find the shop. They are located in a safe neighborhood in Maitland at the end of North Avenue. They share a large area with a boat repair dealer and another repair shop. Do not be mislead by the no frills approach. Just drive to the end of the yard. read more
