Had my Hood repainted and couldn't believe how badly it was done. I brought it to their attention and they said the paint needed to "Cure" for 30 days. I brought the car back and then they said it had to be "re-sprayed" which took another 4 days and still looks bad. Bottom line. Don't go to this shop for ANY work. Had to take vehicle to Mercy Dr Orlando location where Yancy & team found problem. Lights installed incorrectly and parts included in OEM assembly were not used!!! I went to Maaco to have my husband's 20 year old truck repainted and the headlights restored. I choose Maaco because they quoted the best price and a 4 year warranty (although on my paperwork I see 1-2 years). I was told the job would take 3-5 days but it ended up taking longer (9 days) due to problems getting the headlights completed properly. I was very upset about the lack of communication regarding the job not being completed on time. It was a challenge not having our vehicle for those 4 extra days and not knowing when the job would be finished. Once the job was completed, my husband and I were pleased with the work and the headlights looked fantastic. Unfortunately my experience has not gone well. I live alone and have one car so timing was critical as I preferred to not rent a vehicle. I dropped by vehicle off at lunch time on 11/14/22 at the Longwood, Florida location and was told work would be completed in 3 to 5 days. On 11/17/22 I called and spoke with Eddie who stated my vehicle was being painted that day and he was still hopeful I would have it by 11/18, 11/19 at the latest. On 11/18/22, Eddie from Maaco called me at 8:34am and informed me the vehicle was being painted that day. Now we are going into the weekend and the vehicle would be ready 11/19 or Monday, 11/21/22 at the latest. Today (11/21/22), I called Maaco and sw Eddie at 12:53PM. He informed me that my vehicle was being sanded. He could not tell me when it would be finished. I explained he has now had my vehicle 7 days, well passed the 3-5 day quote. I do work for a living and we are in a holiday week that would require travel. I needed my vehicle and asked how he was going to rectify his problem. He informed me I would need to speak with Derrick and he would have Derrick call me. He then terminated the call. I have not yet heard from Derrick or anyone about a resolution. read more

So I took my car here to get a whole new paint job and get the roof fixed cuz it was starting to completely come off. I met prince and explained the situation and showed him my car and he said it would be no issue at all. After he gave me a quote I asked if I could leave it there that day and since I did that he gave me a lil discount cuz I was ready to rock and get it done. When I say this place made my car look better then it had looked in the past ten years and even when I first bought I mean it. I swear my car looks brand freakin new and I could not be happier with the outcome and had it done within 5 days!! No issue whatsoever and with a 4 year paint warranty I cannot be more happy with what I got from this place. The Office Manager, Cory Sapieha rendered an estimate to repaint my 2000 Chevy Silverado 1500. He explained the process and told me they would be using Sherwin Williams automotive paint which was good to hear. They stripped at the trim molding and factory badges off the truck at my request. The paint job was completed in three days and it turned out great! DO NOT go to the establishment at 17-92. Longwood, FL 32750. Everyone in the office was extremely nice, but the owner that goes by the name of PRINCE, was horrible. So when I noticed my water spout to my windshield, were clogged with paint and missing one of them, I accidentally sprayed him with a mist of water while explaining my issue. You would have thought that I baptized him. I apologize immediately, and he stood there, looking appalled, and questioned me on what I wanted him to do about the missing piece to my car and informed me to take it to an auto store to buy the pieces that they broke. What was really strange is he was offended that I asked him if he was the manager and responded with no, I am in fact, the owner of this place!!! As if it was an insult to be the manager. His employees were so nice and you could tell Just by the way that they were acting that they knew he was Also such a jerk. All those cheap prices that they quote you that's crap, and then you have paint dripping missing parts. Don't try to go the cheap route and if you do, don't go to the one on 1792 in Longwood. Also, when they painted my Honda, they just painted over everything. Now my sunroof does not open at all. It's painted shut. TERRIBLE establishment, with no trying to rectify the situation. If I could give the shop zero stars, I would. Please be aware when having them fix your car and dealing with insurance especially if you are a young female, they can easily take advantage of. The shop knowingly used OEM parts, knowing that insurance does not approve them without a documented process. They went ahead and used $6000 in OEM parts to fix my daughters car after insurance said they were not covering them, and then tried to put the $5222 that insurance didn't approve, on my 20 year old daughter. They then try to tell us that they adjusted the price for their mistake by $2000. Once I received the final bill from them it showed that they in fact did not adjust the price at all. once I caught that I contacted the manager and he still said that there was nothing that he could do once, but once I requested the owners information, he said he would get back to me in the morning and that he is out of the office. I then called the shop once he sent that information to me and apparently nobody in the office has contact information for the owner or the HR Director, except for the general manager, which I find to be quite ridiculous and inconvenient. They still have not fixed it and they continue to blame the insurance adjuster. I also have emails between the shop and the insurance adjuster with them asking for more labor approval, and they know they have to have documentation for the supplements, the adjuster asked them if they had documentation and they said no"we did not take photos" so again they failed on that part and now my daughter is being charged for the difference on the labor that was not approved, because they failed to submit and provide documentation. I have filed complaints against this business and hope to have the owners number to get this fixed. All they need to do is adjust the price for what the insurance company approved and what they charged for, (which was never approved by insurance) and we could've been on our way, but they have had my daughters car for a month now and been unwilling to help us. read more

Left my Avalanche for a paint job on the 15th was promised it would be doe in 7 days by Prince. Came back Monday the 28th and was told it was in prep and would be done Wednesday. Called Wednesday talked to Steve the Manager he said he went back to check on it and it was all taped up ready to paint. Went back Thursday to check on it. It was sitting out back nothing done to it with the hood up. Be careful this place is under new ownership and they lie to you with out winking an eye. i took my truck there on monday jan 25 for a paint job and to have dents removed told 7-10 days. have had NO communication from them despite calling their office for updates. I have to keep extending my rental car i have longer and longer coasting me more and more money. I drove to this business to make an appointment. The employee gave me a quote and scheduled an appointment for me. He told me he would be there at 7:00am that day even though the business officially opened at 8:00am. I got there at 7:00am for my appointment and no one was in the office. The door was locked. I waited, then asked the men who were painting in the back about the office being closed. They were cordial but did not know why the office was closed. I waited until 9:30--that's two-and-a-half hours--and no one showed up. My husband, who had driven to this business to pick me up, waited for an hour with me before we decided to leave. Basically, I wasted time and gasoline driving there for the appointment then wasted time and gasoline again when no one showed up for my scheduled appointment. I had them work on 3 of my vehicles at the same time and 1 vehicle they kept for 9 months and did not do the job done that they promised. The other two vehicles needed bumper replacements and were returned to me in a worse condition than when I brought them in with the bumpers not properly installed with the screws missing and the fasteners were broken. After COVID I spoke with the new owner to just simply refund me the amount of my insurance that I paid for while they had my van for just the six months that they had it of the 9 months and fix my bumper that they damaged and the new owner acted like I was trying to rip him off because I wanted them to fix my 1 vehicle and be reimbursed for the insurance that I had to pay while they had my vehicle that they told me that they weren't going to reimburse me for that Maaco's mistakes. Do what you want, but I'm never going to that Maaco because they don't stand by their promises that were made by the previous management telling me that because of their management's promises that was why these managers were let go. So I have been VERY patient with this place as I am a Service Advisor myself and sometimes mistakes happen. I am bringing this in for the 3rd time after paying $1300.00 for it to be painted right. All I am asking for is a RENTAL FOR 1 DAY so I can GET TO WORK in the morning. After explaining the situation to the manager David and the district manager Randy they are saying I have to pay for it as it is considered "warranty" work(even though it due to misapplication by the tech). I feel like that this is the worst customer service experience that I have had in a long time. They don't seem to care and the front desk person never seems to be at the desk. I have no idea when I'm going to get my car back. They told me one thing when I turned in the car and it's a week later now. I can't rate the quality on it because they still have my car. Great work! The body on my 2002 Mustang with straight but the driver door with sagging. They replace the hinges and rehung the door and painted the car including the door jambs with basecoat / clearcoat paint. They were done quickly and the price was good. Very much recommend! read more

We took our Niece's car to Maaco to get a better paint and it was promised in time for Christmas since it was a gift. It was checked in 12/17/19, but wasn't ready until 1/6/20, which was almost 3 weeks! Justin was our agent. His communication was non-existent and he kept blaming the extreme delay on his painter. I called numerous times to get updates and it was I who called to find out it was ready on 1/6/20. I was able to negotiate a discount for the extreme delay/lack of service. However, both moldings were not properly reinstalled and the driver side ended up blowing off the vehicle and was lost on the highway. The cost of a replacement is about the amount of the discount that I received, so there goes the savings. The paint is still holding out after a year and I would not recommend going to the cheaper acrylic paint shops as those last about 6 months. The whole point of getting her car painted was for Christmas, but that became a major disappointment. read more

Went in for a paint job and a bumper install, it seemed perfectly fine as my car looked completely different from before but my bumper was still loose. As i was leaving, my weather strip literally flew off my car and i took it back for them to fix which they did however over time my front bumper clips and connections have slowly been breaking beyond repair and i have countless parts of my car with overspray or even parts of the car they did not even paint. Overall complete waste of my money, not to mention they took 3 extra weeks to finish than they originally said. read more

My car took a day under 2 weeks to complete. They didn't work on it for two days because they didn't know they had permission to work on the car, even though I signed an agreement to let them work and told them on the phone, after they called me, the day I dropped of my car. I learned this information when I called them myself for an update 2 days after I dropped it off. The manager said they had been trying to call me, they never called because according to the manager on the day I picked up my car, they entered in a wrong number for me. I don't see how that can be true because they called me two days prior as I mentioned. They then said (2 days after I dropped off the car) that they had the parts and should have it done in "no time", which to them was the following Wednesday around lunch time. The next Wednesday, they called me and tell me they all of a sudden needed hood hinges, so they'd have to order those and they said they'd call me with another estimate (I had previously agreed to another estimate). They never called back. The only time they mentioned a new price was on they day they completed it. I called them the day after they said they needed the hinges and they said the clamps will be there on Monday, and then they can start sanding and painting. They also said their compressor is down, so they haven't been working on ANY cars. On that Monday around 12:15 I received a call, saying it was done and heard the new price. The next morning I went and picked up my car. When I picked up my car, we the lady at the front desk walked to my car with me so we can assess the work completed. Everything looked good, so we went back to the office to do the billing. At this point, I noticed on the bill that the cost of the tear down had not been subtracted as they said they would do. I mentioned this and the manager started to key it in, and they took off the cost off the tear down. It bothers me that that wasn't done already and that I could've walked out of there none the wiser paying the higher price. I then sat down and spoke with the manager and informed him that I was not pleased with the communication throughout the process. He then said "yeah, no shit" and held up my review (this review has been edited and was posted on the weekend before they called and said my car was ready). He told me (based on the original review) that he didn't like how I insulted him and his shop, that this was his first 1 star review, and that I was being ridiculous. All I did was recant exactly what was communicated to me throughout this process. He didn't like how I called him a liar for saying (in the previous review) that he lied about trying to call me. As I said, they called me the day I dropped it off, so I don't see how two days later, they all of a sudden don't have my number and it took me calling them to get a conversation with them. Who knows how long it would've been before they started working on my car before we spoke again had I not called. The manager proceeded to say that he will never take another car of mine and that we are done, threw away my review in front of me, and said good day. I told him I'd speak to corporate and got up to go pay my bill (now that the cost of the tear down was subtracted). I made a joke to the lady at the front about how my bank must not care about me since it never rejects big charges to my card to protect me from fraud. The manager then chimed in (after he said he was done) with "Maybe they don't care about people who insult other people's shops." The behavior from the manager was completely unacceptable. Anyone who's ever been a manager of anything, anywhere knows that that isn't how you speak to a customer, no matter what their review said. If there were any issues in communication or service (which again, the actual work on the car was good), you own up to it, listen to your customer, and try to move on. You don't talk over them when they're trying to explain, you definitely don't curse at them, and you don't make snide remarks at them as they're leaving. read more

Wow, I took my Prius in for a repaint and they did an incredible job. Work was done onetime with no surprises. I did get one great surprise a new car :/). It looks like it did when I drove it off the lot. Some things were missing gone was the dull Grey bumper and Grey headlight lenses.
