Had a really good experience with the older gentleman here and one really bad experience. I'll chalk it up to he was having a bad day. $65 price. Good experience; awesome service very nice and talkative and was in and out in 20 mins. Bad experience; I asked him if an abs light would make me fail smog and he said no that's a stupid question only thing that will make you fail is a check engine light. Still got out in 20 mins. Stay away from this place. I've been going here for over 10 years whenever my smog check is due. I was surprised that the cost was more than double what I paid last time. They charged me $140! Definitely got ripped off. I should have paid closer attention to the cost before I had them do the smog check (my bad -- I was in a rush and didn't read the paperwork closely). Initially I had gone to get a smog check and when I arrived there was 4 cars ahead of me and I was completely fine with waiting because I knew that it was first come first serve. It's easy to miss this place on the corner, but on a Thursday morning I was able to have my car smog checked within 30 minutes. When I pulled up, there was already one in progress. When it was my turn, he promised it would take about 15 minutes and that it did! The reason I'm giving this 5 stars is because people don't typically need their car smog checked that often, so if you need it you want someone who is thorough with good customer service. The man was super friendly, pointed out all the information I needed on my receipt and when you take your DMV letter, he is able to scan it so it's sent right away.
