I was treated by both Lindsay and Katrina. They are both highly skilled with their approach to treatment. They provided me with thorough explanations (including some photos) to help clarify what I was experiencing and how to treat my pelvic floor pain. We developed my goals and discussed my current situation during every visit. They were very thorough and made sure to focus on any critical issues I had at that time. I learned a lot of new stretches/exercises related to my pain during my visits. Kelly was great! She provided her personal touch and made sure that I understood and properly performed all of my stretches/exercises. The front desk staff was also very friendly and professional. They made me feel welcome upon my arrival and throughout the duration of my visits. I would highly recommend Body Gears for any pelvic floor treatment.

I liked the app they provided for home exercises that had videos and a way to log progress-good for keeping me accountable! I witnessed RBTs having to practice outside of their scope due to lack of leadership. This company is so termination hungry that they fired their only BCBA at this location without any proper trade off of case load to the bcba that was "helping out." When the helper BCBA came there was lack of leadership and knowledge in terms of the caseload she's taking on. There excuse was that she was just subbing in however this completely disregarding the dangers this could put the RBTs and Clients in when not properly handling behaviors. I was hired on as a student and was assigned under this helper BCBA and after my employment there, it took numerous of emails just to get my hours signed off by her due to lack of communication. Through out the clinic there are cameras where they can watch you via their cell phones. It was also told to me by VARIOUS of people that these cameras have audio. Which is illegal in Illinois. When addressing these ethical concerns with HR the CEO replied back that quote "We use an outside vendor to install our CCTV equipment, and if there were any audio recordings, that was a mistake".... not apologizing for the envision of privacy nor the ethical concerns. Also when bringing up the rest of the ethics codes that were being violated he had then responded he will address them if "he chooses to do so." And lastly instead of taking my ethical concerns seriously he said "The staff in that center all have stellar work histories. I've known three of them for seven years and there is not a blemish on anyone's work history. They all have far more experience than you seem to have." I've been a RBT for 5 + years and hold a masters degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis. I take ABA ethics very seriously, and this company consistently failed to uphold them. I cannot recommend this workplace to anyone seeking a professional, ethical, and safe environment for clients or staff.

If you have United Healthcare, do not go here. Hover Chiropractic was first on the list of…read morerecommended care in my area, and it wasn't until after the treatment was completed that I found out Josh personally still has a contract with United Healthcare, but the office he works through (WholeHealth Chicago) does not. After a whopping $125 adjustment + "diagnosis," (conjecture) I found they weren't going to be able to run this charge through my health insurance. After having to pay out of pocket, I called the insurance company who they said they still had an active contract with Josh. I started going back and forth over email where they explained that there was no possible way to run the payment through Josh's contract, and so kindly recommended that I involve a third party service that, "could, potentially, cover out of network claims. But, they also might not." In frustration I said sarcastically, "it's nice to know your company cares," and left it at that. Shortly after, I received a call from Josh who said he saw the emails and offered me a free adjustment. As kind as that was, I don't know what happened in that free adjustment, but I ended up feeling so much worse for the next few days. I'm a bit more familiar with the healing process of back pain by now, and it's not beyond me that sometimes you can be in pain from the adjustment for a few days after, but this felt different. He offered to put me on a regiment of, "$60 per visit, probably a couple times a week? That's when we can really start the actual healing process, does that work for you? Okay good, that is as low as I could possibly make it." Instead, I went to a different chiropractor out of pocket, for a fraction of the price I previously paid, and got immediate/lasting results. There's something to be said about the care I received having an impact of the efficacy of the next chiropractor's work, but in my experience I've often left adjustments feeling generally better than before I came in. Following the two adjustments I received over the span of a week and a half, I can't say I ever really got that feeling. Overall, I would not recommend the treatment I received, and especially not for the price at which I received it.
