He said because I used leak detecting freon, my.whole system.needed to be replaced, charged me $106 dollars for looking at the truck and would not work on truck. After reading several reviews it became apparent there is a theme which is credible. this guy takes…read morethe work, then tells you to "junk" the car. as if people can just do that, as if its like going and getting milk. Its insulting for sure. I brought my car there to have a caliper replaced and a wheel bearing, something like that. this particular model of car required the whole assembly to come apart. I also asked he install a new shock since it was all apart. just like anything else if you have a big job you do what you can afford as a preventive maintenance kind of thing. This guy charged me the time it would have taken to do the job and more, as if that's all he was doing. over 200 dollars to replace a strut; the whole assembly, including the strut, had to come apart to do the other work. i provided the strut. I am not a mechanic, but i know as fact it took him 2o min tops to place the strut in the machine to swap the coil spring. I felt ripped off. Maybe he does stuff like this because he doesnt want you back? rapes you, tell you to get rid of your junk? I will never return, and always tell anyone when it comes up, like yelping. those college kids who said he called their cars "junk", its true because he said it to me.
