Scheduled a consultation and a surgery, a month ahead in a short timeframe. Everyone I spoke to there was very efficient and clear. Consultation was great. Surgery was great. I probably shouldn't have, but I was eating pretty solid foods and was out and about day 1 post-op haha. I didn't feel much pain, only slight discomfort. I was prescribed hydros in the case I needed them, but all I took were ibuprofen and amoxicillin. Essentially, it's been 2 weeks since then and I had the best experience I could ask for!!

Dr. Hill did my surgery as his last of the day but I get the feeling he actually ENJOYS what he does so he still had energy. I asked for a detailed estimate of all three phases of treatment. The front office did provide one PRIOR to treatment (unlike my experience at Endodontic Associates). The only thing is there were a lot of costs tacked onto the extraction fee of $275. There was $650 for bone graft and $300 for "membrane". Out of pocket cost was $1045. I can't blame them for charging for their services, but OUCH. I am in the wrong field. I need to become an oral surgeon!

Dr. Preskar explained the procedure to the T and answered all "what, when, why" questions. I am a weenie when it comes to anything dental related , so imagine dental + surgery.. ahhh. The day of my surgery , my anxiety and fear was up the roof. Once I got there, I knew there was no going back LOL. So I got checked in , made comfortable , and got down to business. Dr & team made me feel really comfortable. Bless their hearts for calming me down by making small talk because I was a nervous wreck. Before I knew it , I woke up (felt great btw, just sleepy) and went home in zero pain. Followed docs post op care and never felt pain during the recovery process. So we got hustled into paying $250 on the day of with no advance notice. I spent the next day calling around and no other oral surgery office does this. I also compared rates........SOS wants to charge us $440 PER TOOTH for extraction (simple extractions) and every other office I called bills more around $250 per tooth. Scammy. On the day of my surgery, I was waiting in the room for Dr. Gallia. He came in and attempted to insert an IV, but he couldn't find a vein. He poked me multiple times and became increasingly irritated. He said, "I'm not doing your surgery," then I asked if I could reschedule. He refused, almost screaming because he couldn't find a vein! He simply said he wouldn't perform the surgery. This was a traumatic experience. I was in bed, prepared for him to come and do his job, and I had already taken a relaxer as per his instructions.
