Very unprofessional and condescending, patronizing, hostile attitude from this dentist. I was a new…read morepatient and this guy walked in after I was waiting for several long minutes with no other patients in the office before any work with the hygienist could begin, as though he needed to approve me personally and had the nerve to grill me like a race horse out of the gate with giddy anticipation about my healthy medical history by stating, "So you're as healthy as a horse huh? - but you smoke??" Then he went on to focus on my smoking by asking how much I smoke and if I tired to quit before to which I replied I had, to which he asked and so what happened and what I had tried, to which I brushed off and eventually replied that I'm obviously still smoking! It's the way you talk to people and this guys proposed message was lost with his ridiculous inflated brow beating style!! I have never experienced such a rude dentist in all my years. My blood pressure is always perfect but this guy took it to a new level. He needs to learn how to talk appropriately to people! I told him I didn't need to be lectured before deciding to ultimately get out of the chair and he went on to tell me it wasn't lecturing (convince yourself dude) and went on a further tirade about the dangers of smoking and oral cancer etc. etc. He started out the appt. in a sarcastic manner and apparently didn't like the lukewarm handshake I gave him and the fact I didn't consider his blabber god speak and asked if I usually go this long between appts. in a sarcastic tone! Newsflash I haven't had any health problems and I'm middle aged and I smoke - sorry if that upsets you!!?? This guy doesn't seem to be book smart or have common sense either. Strike 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6....you're OUT!!!! I was so stunned when I got up from the chair I still had the bib thing on at which point he said with heavy sarcasm that he didn't want me to be charged for that and pulled it off me and then told me "good luck"!! BTW this is the first dental office where I have ever gotten right in and with an afternoon appt. to boot, and the office was completely empty. Good luck to you Mr. rude tude of a dentist indeed, as it seems I was your only potential patient of the day!! If there is chair side manner for dentists like there is bedside manner for a doctor this guy is an epic fail!!! What makes this otherwise negative experience hilariously fulfilling for me, is that the same night as my appt. on the local news, there was a story about how people are not going to the dentist regularly especially in the 24 to 30 something range. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out, as the dental profession are some of the most anal people on the planet, but they may just want to reconsider their chair side manner when their lack of business is featured on the news! After all, on their own paperwork it always asks about prior negative experiences and if you're afraid of dentists. A little compassion goes a long way folks!

4 minutes ago New Not…read morequite sure what has happened at Four Lakes Family Dental. I had requested a specific after care treatment for my Invisilign treatment, which I started in 2016, shortly after they opened this office. My latest appointment with Dr. Ferraro was a disgrace. Someone who was always pleasant and professional in the few years after I started my care, was unexpectedly rude, argumentative, defensive, and combative. My requests for care were continually ignored and when I tried to discuss my issues this past week, I was met with a combative conversation with a lack of proper record keeping and lack of care or understanding for my situation. The red flags have been popping up for some time, and this was the final incident. High turnover and temporary employees, lack of other patients in the building at prime office hours, and the off putting demeanor of both doctors is unacceptable and a sign that the office is not at the caliber that it should be. I would highly suggest alternative care for you and your family.

Avoid at all costs…read more I tried this dentist close to home for the first time since moving and feel the need to warn others. This hygienist tried to tell me I have poor dental health, need extensive cleaning and antibiotics, fillings, and sealants amounting to about $1000. They refused to do a routine cleaning saying that I needed a special deep clean. She even exclaimed "uh oh" while doing my gum exam, so unprofessional. My gums hurt the rest of the day because she pushed and poked so hard. That has never happened to me at any other dental appointment. All of this seemed totally out of no where since I am young, and have seen a regular dentist every 6 months my entire life. Anyway, I left and didn't even get a routine cleaning. I went and got a second opinion at my regular dentist and they agreed that is all unnecessary and over the top. I do not have any cavities, I do not need filings or a deep clean, no antibiotics necessary. My regular dentist said I have great teeth and am doing a great job. Four Lakes Family Dentistry really felt like a scam and the hygienist and dentist made me feel really awful, like I hadn't been taking care of my teeth at all and that is not the case. I'm glad I didn't waste $1000 with them!
