He helped my friends and I plan a once in a lifetime experience for a bachelorette party at the Marquee Dayclub. So, so much fun!!! If you have the opportunity to party here, do it. Two of my buddies and I decided to make a last minute trip to Vegas and wound up getting connected with the team at Excess via a mutual friend. I can't applaud their service enough. Excess helped us with a VIP Hosted Entry to and XS Sunday night (of Memorial Day Weekend) pool party with David Guetta. It had "sold out" according to the XS website, yet the team at Excess was able to shepherd us through the insane line and gave us a tour of the club once we made it inside. I specifically was impressed by their patience (my group was running an hour behind), courteousness, high level of communication and ability to cut through the hottest line in town hot-knife/butter-style. We came to Vegas last month for the ASD show with a group of 16 people. Normally we just attend the show sponsored events, but this year we decided we wanted to do something a little more exciting. A friend put me in touch with Aaron at Excess VIP and said that he had used them a few times in the past for bachelor parties and taking out clients. Aaron was very friendly and easy to work with. He answered all of our questions and helped us pick through all the events to find the ones that worked best for our group (not an easy task since everyone seemed to have their own ideas of what they wanted to do). On Friday evening, some of the group went to the exotic cars race track and had an amazing time (they were yammering on about it for the rest of the trip, and for about a week after we got back home lol). Saturday night we did dinner at Sake Rock (which was amazing) and then hopped in the limo and went to Jewel nightclub. When we arrived, Taylor (our VIP host) met us at the valet and walked us over to the club, where the line was basically just a mob crowd of people all jammed together at the bottom of the escalators. We walked right past the crowd and got straight into the club. None of us in the group are big club people (maybe with a few exceptions for some of the younger reps) but all of us had an absolute blast! If you are planning a group trip to Las Vegas I highly recommend contacting Excess VIP and saving yourself the trouble of trying to put it all together yourself. The very first time a small town girl like me from rockford has ever been to a huge fancy club with a pool area was when I went to excess on Sunday night. I must say the place was way more than I expected. The lighting was perfect, it was clean, and laid out nicely, the bathrooms were one of the fanciest, and the seats were very comfortable. Very high class extravagant club. It was a pure good time. Everyone was just dancing and enjoying life. There was no drama and the Dj did well. I would've liked to hear a mix of urban music or longer versions of some songs played but I get every place is different with their choice of music. Overall I'd say it was worth the visit. read more

I wanted to write this review back in June, but it totally slipped my mind. Over the weekend, we were looking at our pictures from our week in Vegas and it made me realize that the one thing that we did different was to hire Excess VIP. When my friends mentioned using a service, I was skeptical. Our usual mode was to hit Vegas and figure out where to go. As you can imagine, that led to a ton of waiting around, trying to put ourselves on lists, calling home to see if anyone had a hookup for a particular club, dealing with the clubs and their ever changing prices (wait, you just told me 2k for a table, now it's 3k?!) and just general confusion. Get six people together and you have at least 36 places a day to check out. We heard about Brent from a friend and arranged everything in advance. The entire process was simple - we answered a few questions about what we wanted to do - places we wanted to see - table locations - and he handled everything. I can't say enough about how much time we saved bypassing lines - I remember walking past a giant line at Omnia and laughed because before Brent and Excess VIP - we would have been waiting for hours while people were streaming into the club. We all know the feeling. The service didn't end once we entered the club. Brent handled and managed everything. He arranged an awesome table one night for my friends birthday - along with all the pomp that comes along with that. We ended up booking several clubs (3 pool parties and 4 night clubs) with Brent and there wasn't a single instance where any of us felt that Brent and the team from Excess VIP didn't earn every cent of their fee. We had a much more productive time in Vegas (if going to clubs could ever be considered productive time) with him as a guide. Less BS with the people at the clubs. Kidding around with my friends - we called the service - priority respect. That's how quick we went from being the people waiting on lines to being ushered through the entrance to the club.. I met Josh Smith on one of my Vegas trips in 2012 through some resident DJs at Wet Republic and ever since that day, I always contact him on my trips. He is seriously super nice and real, not one of those lames who acts as if they're on top of the world because they're handling millionaire clients. We all know how those can be - straight dbags. I'm there to enjoy myself and drink, not have you give me your snobby attitude. You never wait in a line, you are always comfy at your table, and Josh goes even further by taking care of that one friend of yours who's passed out and needs to get back to the hotel. Aaron & Jason were amazing to work with! We were there for a girlfriend's 50th birthday and Aaron helped with dinner, entertainment and club suggestions. He was spot on for each thing! Aaron followed up while we were there as well as after our trip to ensure everything went well...now that's customer service! Unfortunately we never got to meet Aaron in person as he had a prior engagement so Jason showed up in his place. I would have never known the difference as Jason was just as attentive and helpful with everything! He was there to escort us to the VIP section of the club and stayed there until we had everything we needed...he even took great pictures for us. A few hours later, the girls wanted to go somewhere else. I contacted Jason and he was so helpful...even at 2:30am (sorry Jason)! When things didn't turn out the way we were hoping (our own fault) Jason offered a different alternative for us the next day, which he really didn't have to do. The fact that he went out of his way to ensure we had a great time no matter what time of day really shows how amazing he is at his job and how he keeps everything stress free and easy so we could just enjoy ourselves without having to worry about anything. I helped plan my cousin's bachelorette party on one of the busiest weekends in Vegas- Labor Day Weekend. All of the private parties I have gone to through Excess VIP have been amazing and the people that decided to get these rooms were always catered to, any way possible. I've been to rooms that were as crazy and exciting as clubs (or even more) and I've been to some that were very relaxing and a little more quiet. I loved both experiences! The hosts not only take care of the person that wanted this to be set up, but they take care of everyone. Josh Smith especially takes his time to make sure everything is perfect and the way you want it! I've never seen him take a break, nor sit down. If you're up and partying, he's up and making sure you're having the time of your life. You get personal care through Excess VIP and the bartenders always make sure your drink is exactly how you want it! I really can't say enough about the way that you will be treated by the world class individuals from Excess VIP. From the moment I waked off the plane into my limo that Steve reserved for me each amazing night that my group spent on the strip. Every detail was thought of and taken care of. We spent a night at Marquee with an amazing dance floor table, followed by another day at Rehab with an amazing cabana right on the pool only to be capped off by an even better night at Haze with a table right in the middle of the dance floor. Whatever experience you are looking for in Vegas, this group will make sure they deliver that to you, and then some. They are professional, courteous and extremely knowledgable about how and where to direct you and your group to absolutely get the most out of your trip.
