    LAUNCH Trampoline Park - Doral

Great concept, however, they have at least two side/back doors that remain unlocked allowing…read morechildren to escape unseen. Also, they turn off the lights for way too long when they have younger kids at play. You can't see anything. Both huge safety concerns. I'd recommend it for older children until they correct those hazards. If those doors are fire exits, it should have an alarm when open as there is no one monitoring the doors. Also, 15 minutes is way too long especially considering you have a door in the back that can be opened without warning. You can't see your children when the lights are off unless you're jumping with them.

Instead we had to wait by walking around and trying to find other tables for the guests to sit while the kids played. It was all very rushed. We had minimal time to decorate the space. Another disappointment was the food. I don't expect much from food at places like this and I'm aware it's always going to be very similar as far as options go. But again, for as pricey as it is, at least it should have had good pizza. That was not the case. Nobody in the party was impressed with the food, sadly. All in all, never again hosting a party here. Taking the kids on a regular day to just jump around May be a possibility, but not certain.

This is definitely a cool place to bring your little ones and keep them entertained…read more It's especially useful on those pesky rainy days where you can't go to the park. The set up is good ...especially for parties. They have a room designated for the birthday singing, eating, and cake-cutting activities that is separate from the play area. They also have a small arcade section set up and a bungee jump contraption ... at an extra charge. The price is not bad at all...around $12 and your kid gets to bounce until they are tired. They have a concessions where you can get pizza, drinks, ice cream, coffee, etc. The play area is large... there are around 6 giant bounce houses with slides and obstacles. And a section for toddlers with ball pits. It's definitely fun! And safe and indoors! You must wear socks to be in the area ... no shoes, no bare feet! They do have socks for sale $2 if you forget.

I'm honestly surprised by all the 5-star reviews because our visit was nothing like what I expected. I don't know if we happened to come on a bad day, but the staff spent more time policing parents than creating a welcoming environment. I understand that rules are important, and I have no problem following them. However, there was a constant feeling of being watched and corrected, even when we weren't doing anything wrong. The moment that crossed the line for me was when a staff member grabbed me by the shoulder to get my attention. There is simply no reason for an employee to put their hands on a guest. It was completely inappropriate and made me feel very uncomfortable. If you're looking for an indoor play place for your children, I would recommend considering other options. Based on my experience, the customer service here was unprofessional and unnecessarily rude, which took away from what should have been a fun day for the kids.

Miami-Dade County Fair & Exposition - With a pineapple and guava pizza

I usually go to the fair once a year to try some of their food suggested by people online. So my…read morerating is based off their food, not the actual rides. The elephant ears are really good. A sweet delight that I think everyone associates with the fair. It is VERY buttery, so that could be a turn off visually to some. I also order the Doritos loco chicken on a stick. Pleasantly surprised with the flavor profile of this. As the name suggests, it's a chicken pierced by a stick. It is fried, and covered with liquid cheese and Doritos crumbs. While unhealthy, it was super delicious. The last item is the one I was most excited for, but unfortunately I would never get again. I heard from some friends that the Birria Ramen was great. Unfortunately, it was overly salty. They use the $1 Marucha ramen cups that you get at Publix, and they put birria mix in it. The taste was overwhelming. I would rate 3/10. Overall, despite me only coming for the food. The FAIR is a fun place to bring the family. It has varies rides, and activities to take advantage of.

To drink, I had the freshly squeezed lemonade in the novelty cup which offers discounted refills (definitely worth it, definitely recommend. Wonderfully refreshing for this FL hot days). If you're like me, who are not there for the rides, do not pass on the shows. The ice skating in particular was so much fun, and so entertaining; good for the whole family. Parking is free, but there is a 'preferred ' parking option where you pay to park closer. I used the free parking but I got there at 2:00pm so the walk wasn't bad. Definitely bring a hat, and possibly one of those portable fans (I did). The heat is no joke and there is limited shade.
