I found out why they got such great reviews is because the owner Juan Hernandez has owned the business there in San Rafael for something like 27 years, and he's an absolute professional who is really high energy who is committed to quality and doing things right. I knew absolutely nothing about dash cams when I first went to City Car Radio, but Juan helped me learn all I needed to know. He took about 4 hours to do the install the Wolfbox G900 Tripro Dash Cam (Amazon: $329.99, list price: $429.99) I got but charged me for 3 hours. His base price for the installation is $400 for a 2 camera and when you see what it takes to install a dash cam correctly that won't seem expensive. He got for himself, wife, son, and daughter the Wolfbox G900 Pro ($249.99 at Amazon) and installed them all himself. The keywords to focus in on in the one I got and the ones he got is "Tripro" and just "Pro". The Tripro has 3 cameras and the Pro has 2 cameras. They both have very similar front and rear cameras where the rear camera mounts on the rear bumper, and the front camera is inside the dash cam itself that connects securely to the rear-view mirror and points forward. The difference in the Tripro is what the name suggests is that it has a 3rd camera, and the Wolfbox G900 Pro has 2 cameras. The Tripro has 2 models for the 3rd camera: "Cabin" and "Bumper". As the model name suggests, the Cabin's 3rd camera is mounted inside, typically on the window shield pointed to see inside the car, and the Bumper's 3rd camera is mounted typically on the front bumper for off-road driving to watch for road conditions that can't be seen with the front camera that is mounted higher. To save money there is also the Wolfbox G850 Pro (Amazon: $149.99, list price $219.99) that is the predecessor to the G900 Pro and has many of the same features, but has things like cameras with less resolution. Another thing I had done with my Tripro was to do as Juan said and get a "WOLFBOX USB C 4A Acc Hardwire Kit 11.48ft for All WOLFBOX Dash Cams, Converting 12V-24V to 5V, with Battery Drain Protection" on Amazon for $24.99 that is a hardwire kit that connects to the car's fuse box so power is always on rather than without it where the power is done with a connector that connects to the cigarette lighter. This hardwire kit's main purpose is for something called Parking Mode so if the car is bumped or hit when the car is off, the dash cam turns on and records the event. This YouTube video, along with what Juan told me, really helped me decide that Wolfbox is the brand and the Tripro with the 3rd camera is what I wanted, and the model I needed was "Cabin" to record any interaction that may happen with the police: "Testing the Wolfbox G900 TriPro: Cabin + Bumper + Dash Cam!" https://youtu.be/dfRSQHpUdF0?si=XfvPzWv2EjIcqz9i This review is for the Wolfbox G900 Pro (without the 3rd camera) that will help you decide and maybe save a few bucks: "Testing the Wolfbox G900 Pro: Incredible 4K Dash Cam Footage!" https://youtu.be/U3j_341d93I?si=3dkGsJO-MF5_ug9m There are several YouTube videos that cover the Wolfbox G850 Pro you can look at if you're interested in this one. If you followed this entire review, you have learned everything I have learned with Juan. Juan, thanks for the great experience selecting and installing the dash cam in my car. I will never worry again about being wrongfully accused of causing an accident or being stopped by the police and not having a recording of the whole interaction.

On May 18th, I called ahead for a quote for window tint services and provided the make/model/year of my vehicle. I was given a price over the phone and scheduled for a 3:00 PM appointment. I arrived on time and met with a salesperson who immediately started trying to upsell me on multiple tint film products. I declined all of them because it honestly came off as very pushy and gave me sleezy salesperson vibes. At around 3:30 PM, I paid $365 and was told my car would be ready in about an hour. I live roughly 20 minutes away, and as soon as I got home, the same salesperson called me saying they "didn't have my car in their computer system," meaning they couldn't do computer-cut tint and would have to do hand cuts instead. Then he told me hand cuts would cost an additional $60 per window. At that point, I told him I did not agree to extra charges and wanted to pick up my car. He told me he would already be gone by the time I got there and asked me to wait until the next morning because someone would call me regarding whether there would actually be extra fees. The shop opened at 8 AM, but nobody called. I waited until 9:45 AM and called myself. Another employee named Metal answered and said he still didn't know whether there would be extra charges and would call me back. Around 10:30 AM, he finally confirmed there WOULD be additional fees and told me I could come pick up my car. I took an Uber to the shop. To be fair, Metal was professional, reasonable, and much easier to deal with than the original salesperson. I asked if I could just get refunded at the shop, but he told me I had to call the corporate 1-800 number because the location was a franchise. Corporate then told me they had to contact the franchise manager and that the refund process would take a few days. About an hour later, Metal called back saying I needed to return to the shop to get refunded there instead. I told him I really didn't want to make another 20-minute drive back, and eventually he said they would cancel the payment on their end. Overall, getting windows tinted should not be this stressful or time-consuming. The communication was disorganized, the pricing changed after payment, and the whole process felt unprofessional. The only positive part of the experience was Metal trying to help resolve the situation professionally.

Francisco and his team did a phenomenal job repairing my 2011 Chevrolet Silverado after it was hit in a parking lot. From the very beginning, they operated like a true first-class shop--professional, organized, and clearly experienced. They didn't just handle the repair; they also walked me through how to deal with the insurance company, helped set up a rental car, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. The communication was outstanding from start to finish. I always knew what was going on, and the work was completed in a timely manner without cutting corners. The final result exceeded my expectations--the truck looks great. Before choosing them, I asked a few local mechanic shops I trust here in San Rafael for recommendations, and more than one pointed me to D & K. Now I understand why. While I hope I don't need collision repair again anytime soon, I wouldn't hesitate to come back if I did.

Not only did they fix the damage to the door and wheel arch, they also removed a ding in the door free of charge. The car looks like new. I can't recommend Roberto and his team at D and K highly enough.
