Horrible experience. Had my truck windshield tinted after I was assured there wouldn't be any ghosting. When I picked up the vehicle, sure enough, there was ghosting. This is an issue when too much heat is applied. Was told that this may disappear after it cured, but after a week it was still bad. Dangerous at night where every bright LED looks like 3. Confirmed there was ghosting with Zachary, but he said it's a defective windshield and wouldn't budge. They were even going to charge me to have it removed. Forget that! So I took the truck to OCDetailing where they removed the bad tint and did a fantastic job with a new one (without any ghosting of course). Anyway, beware! They say they have a satisfaction guarantee, but it's total BS! I'm $800 out of pocket. read more

I stopped into tint world today in San Rafael, my daughter's 2003 silver Prius had an area of the roof where the clear coat was coming off. It's a tiny section, maybe 1x3 feet. I was concerned the job would be too small, boy was I wrong. Jerry the owner welcomed me to the showroom, offered me a free hot mocha and tour. It's called "tint world" but they do so much more, back up and dash cameras, auto alarms, led lights. The silver wrap would be a custom order with a minimum, but he had two kinds of black (matt and gloss) in stock which would be about 1/2 the price. They also have clear film for paint protection, and even a clear film that blocks heat for windows in your home or office. Not very happy with these guys I called to get some HID headlights in my Toyota and never heard back from them. I simply asked how much would it cost to install and sell me the lights spoke with their sales person who in return told me he would have the installer call me never heard back from them. I guess I own a Toyota and not a Porsche I can't say I would recommend these people. read more

I took my brand new car to this shop to get a tint and the staff was very helpful with selecting which film to choose. I was in and out within a few hours and the car looks great! Tint world is incredible. It looks really small from the outside but is massive inside. The staff are serious professionals and incredibly nice and understanding. Special shout out to Arren, who helped me find the perfect option the was best for my Porsche and Daniel was amazing shooting my car to make it look perfect. They really know what they are doing and genuinely care about the quality and level of service they provide. They didn't try and push me into what they already had in stock, they genuinely just wanted to help me find the best tint at an amazing price. I've been to a few different places for PPF's and Tints but never felt happy with the work enough to come back. Tint world has my business and as long as they continue to deliver the same quality I got on my GT4's tint, I won't be going anywhere else.
