There was a clean small changing room and I would walk out nearby was tailor ( business owner?) who pinned and steered my thinking to more realistic perception of what could be done. I don't usually do reviews, when I get crappy service, I usually cut my losses and move on, however I WILL NOT let this one pass. If I could give a negative 0 I would! This is my first time using this cleaner...first of all there is ALL kinds of misrepresentation on their website! Lies lies lies! Same day service?? Ha ha! $10 coupon ?? Ha ha! My daughter brought my cleaning there and showed them the $10 off coupon for 1 winter coat and 2 turtlenecks and asked for next day service, (that is promoted on there website) mind you it's a Thursday, and they told her that they don't have next day and it won't be available until Monday "strike one" ok fine she said. She goes to pick it up my items and notices on the receipt that they charged $30 for the coat and some other charges, she asks about the $10 off coupon, the person tells her that it's already been taken off the coat...so I guess it's $40 to have a coat dry cleaned there?? So I decide to call and get to the bottom of this...I speak to this women (whom I found out is the owner) I say women because she wouldn't give me her name, she tells me that the "person who received the order applied the $10 off but the person who checked it out didn't "My thoughts are HOW MUCH SENSE DOES THAT MAKE??" I said to her why would that person lie to my daughter and say that it was applied when it wasn't? Is it because she is young and they thought they could get over on her? Not one time did this "owner" apologize! She said she did but she she didn't! She just made excuses and tried to justify what happened as "human mistake" I get that! We ALL make mistakes on a daily! However when your supposed to be a business owner you try your BEST to help a customer...her way of helping me was saying she will apply $10 off on my next order! I said can I come down there right now and get my $10? This owner of this establishment, told me that they cannot do that, only apply it to my next order! So I am out of $10 and the headache of dealing with this incredibly overpriced unprofessional establishment! Save your time and money! Do NOT give them your business! 1 day turnaround, like 20 items is pretty cool, but that is their norm. I have brought some things in on Fridays before a holiday weekend, and they may not be able to do the Saturday pickup, because guess what they take vacations too!! Nice. However, they will tell you upfront before you drop your stuff that they wont be able to have it after the holiday, if they are indeed closing. They barcode all of their stuff (very small on the tag), which makes it quick to drop off. Lastly, these guys are very nice, so I will keep using for sure. read more

Morrisville Dry Cleaners is a must visit. Everyone at the shop is friendly and inviting. They really do a great job at recognizing how to treat each unique garment accordingly. It is always important you know what you want done to your articles or to ask for suggestions when you are there so that you can receive what you expect. There is a speedy turn over from when you drop your items to when they will be ready for pick up. This shop is conveniently located in the triangle and I find their hours to be appropriate. I would also like to commend their system of identifying your items. They place a very minuscule tab with a barcode that is scanned when you repeatedly bring the item back for cleaning. It is discreetly placed on the tag of the item and goes seemingly unnoticeable when wearing the item. They also have different ways to save money, each month has a different garments which are discounted if you clean it during that month. I just went there trusting the Google and Yelp reviews and it turned out to be pretty good. A major plus for me is that they do Indian dresses as well. First time I gave my suit, I found they Stapled their tag around the button hole because of which the hole became wide open at all times. The flap on pockets on the jacket were tucked in while pressing leaving a steamed mark on the outside. I went back to them and the owner was very courteous and accepted it for re-ironing and this time it came out looking as new again. All other clothes I gave them were ready on time with perfect cleaning. read more

My wife and I have been taking our clothes to Kishan and his family for dry cleaning since 2010, when we lived in Morrisville, and would highly recommend their work to anyone. It's rare that you find people and an establishment that seem to truly care about their work and customers anymore. Kishan knows us by name, remembers our family members, and asks after our son every time we stop in (about once a month). MDC is extremely prompt and thorough. I drop our bag of clothes off in the morning around 7 AM and it is always ready to go for me in the afternoon by 4 or 4:30 PM. They do an excellent job and every item of clothing is well cleaned and taken care of and returned in perfect condition. Their prices are very fair. Lastly, we think so highly of Kishan and his family's work that even though we moved to Durham in 2013, I happily drive out of my way to take our clothing to MDC. Great establishment. I've only had Kishan at Morrisville Dry Cleaners do one job for me, but it was a doozy. I was very, very impressed with his work, and his can-do attitude. "I like a challenge," he said, and I sure gave him one! I have a 35-40 year-old trade show booth, covered with four panels of "Velcro loop" padded fabric, each about 40 square-feet. It was falling apart: The material is similar to the "headliner" cloth in the ceiling of a car, and it was coming off the solid panels, just like car headliner cloth sometimes comes loose from the ceiling of a car. The cloth was glued to the boards underneath. The cloth was actually a sandwich. It consisted of five layers: the pretty outer "loop" fabric, a layer of glue, a thin layer of latex foam, another layer of glue, and a coarse backing cloth, which was glued to the solid booth panels. The latex foam had disintegrated into a crumbly, gooey, gluey mess, which was why the outer layer of cloth was coming loose from the booth panels. I peeled the cloth off, but only got the outer pretty layer, with glue on the back, and about half of the foam. I used a leaf blower to try to blow the worst of the rotting foam off the back of the outer cloths, but they were still awful, gooey messes. I tried my best to keep the sticky bits of crumbling foam off the front of the fabric, but it went everywhere. I called the company which made the booth (FeatherLite), and of course the booth is a long discontinued model, but they helpfully told me where I could buy the fancy cloth. Unfortunately, new cloth is very expensive! So I decided to try to repair the booth using the old cloth. (The lady at FeatherLite had never heard of that being done.) The foam layer is useless. All that's really needed is the outer layer. So I took the peeled-off outer layer to Kishan. Amazingly, he managed to clean nearly all that gooey latex glue and foam from the fabric. (He mentioned a solvent called "amyl acetate.") Then I cleaned the solid booth panels (with the coarse backing cloth still glued to them) as best I could. To get the worst of the decaying latex foam off, first I sprayed them with "goof off" (which didn't seem to do much), then I scraped them using a flat metal paint scraper. I followed up with a stiff broom, denatured alcohol, acetone, and a lot of elbow grease. The panels were still dirty and sticky, but I judged that they were clean enough for glue to adhere. Then, with the generous help of a friend, I glued the freshly cleaned outer fabric back onto the booth. (I spent $65 on 3M spray-on "90" contact cement for that job!) It looks pretty good! It's not "like new," but it's much improved. As I write this review, the booth is set up up at the NC State Fair, on loan to a non-profit organization. Thank you, Kishan! read more

My wedding gown, which I have been saving for my daughter for 27 years to eventually wear, was damaged from a pipe that broke and flooded the storage shed. I was appsolutely devestated! I took it to a few cleaners and they displayed no concern or empthy. Took in 2 dresses and blouse on a Friday afternoon, they were ready by Monday evening. The price is very reasonable, it's close to my work making the location convenient and they did a good job. The staff was friendly and attentive making sure to look at the tags. They use a tiny barcode sticker on your tag instead pinning or sticking anything on the clothes to identify them which I appreciated. I will be using their services again. read more

I was pleased with the quality of service received. Price is reasonable. I didn't give a five star because attitude of the owner at the time of drop off was a bit harsh. He made valid points but his delivery was not to my liking - "i would not let you wash and fold this suit, I would tell you take it somewhere else". I did choose to do dry clean instead of wash and fold. I am happy he guided me in the right direction but the tone of delivery needs some adjusting. read more
