We scheduled our appointment via their website and had a quick home consultation where we told him what we would ideally like done. I did a bit of quick math on the mulch and sent me a text shortly after with the rate for the labor and the materials. I found it to be incredibly reasonable so we decided to move forward with the job. They are booked pretty heavily so it took a couple of weeks for our appointment but they showed up and worked efficiently to finish the job neatly and thoroughly. Our garden looks amazing and they did a great job pulling all those pesky weeds in our rock beds that had been causing me grief (and back pain!) over the spring and summer. I'm so happy with how it all looks. I can't stop marveling at our very cute yard now! And my plants seem way happier now that we've got the mulch around them as well. Over the next several days we filled (2) grocery size bags full of old bulbs. See the attached photo. So far we have pulled 83 bulbs from the small bed in front of our porch and hope that no additional flowers appear. These bulbs only sat 3-4 inches deep in the ground so it is obvious that no one attempted to dig out any of the old plantings. I understand that the flowers were not in bloom at the time of installation last October but they were in bloom during your initial visit with us last spring. During that visit we discussed that we no longer wanted these perennials and it was one of our main reasons for wanting new landscaping.

Other contractors didn't want to use T1-11 and many highly suggested vinyl siding or Hardie board. They didn't recognize that customer satisfaction is essential. And I knew what I wanted! Sean, owner of Michigan Rose, came out in a timely manner and communicated with me from start to finish. John and Nathan worked very well together and the job was completed quickly. We let them know that we needed the driveway done and cured before that date so we could use a wheelchair on it . They were here the next day to take out the old concrete and prepare it for the new.
