I suggest getting a Carry Concealed Weapon (CCW) license. And where do you go for training? Gallardo Firearms Training. It's a HUGE decision and one not taken lightly but this is the place to go. Want further training later on? This again, is the place. Relaxed, chill, informative (both instructors are LEO's) no performance pressure environment. You will learn the laws and hear the teachings on gun safety. It will prepare you for carrying a gun in concealment. Just give it some thought. Oh, and when the dude from United States Concealed Carry Association (USCCA) comes and gives his spiel, sign up for the insurance. Malinda and Ben were very informative, patient and kind. They first walk you through all the safety guidelines and the basics of a gun, then you head out to the shooting range to practice.
