Never recommend, you should carefully check the bill they give you. Unless you want to install an electric plug for $1,729 The bill they gave me showed that they worked for me for 11.5 hours, but the time I logged was 6 hours 50 minutes. They said they also wanted me to pay for the time from their office to my house (which is 8 minutes from their office). They didn't change their hours until I told them that the time and place of the video I took of their work and the final photo of them filling out my work order was in the iPhone. In the end they asked me to pay for seven and a half hours, including their time on the road They charged 428 dollars for the materials, of which there was a 238 dollars, I asked them what it was, they said they bought a small plug-in box in low's (that only 80 dollars) I asked them to give me a receipt, I waited for a total of more than an hour, they can not get a receipt, the 238 dollars split into wires, plugs... And the bill shows $150 has been spent on the wires. I ended up installing a charging outlet for $1,289 This is a very bad installation experience, I would not recommend this one read more

Morris Levin & Son has been the contractors of choice for my parents for any repairs needed for the family home. MLS has been working on the house since we moved in back in 1971 and we have counted on them for pretty much everything. The service has diminished over the decades, but we still use them for this house because we prefer to support long time local businesses. Recently, a leak was discovered in my mother's kitchen, so I called on MLS to come and check it out. There was a substantial amount of water leaking under the house and the guys from MLS were able to resolve it in a couple of days, thus stopping any further damage. read more

Dealing with the firearms side of this business was a nightmare. I was told when I purchased the firearm that the holster I purchased for the gun would be a good choice n said if I didn't like it I could bring it back. But it took a whole month tell they could release the firearm to me with which the holster i bought wasn't at all what I expected and they told me I couldn't return it because it had been to long since I purchased the holster... just dealing with them was a headache every single time. And at one point I was told to come in when waiting for the background check to go through and I live 40 min away but when I get there and ask them about the gun they said no one called me n asked a few employees but made the whole thing seem outrageous that an employee would call me and tell me to come in. AARON D, I apologize for my lack of communication. We typically have 2 of us working in customs. One of us does the work on the guns and the other takes care of consultation/communication. He was out for surgery for quite a while. That can lead to delayed responses since I'm trying to finish the gun work and also trying to keep up with the mass amounts of emails and calls. Not an excuse, just not enough hours in the day to do both all on my own with as busy as we've become. We don't quote "maximum" lead times. All lead time are an estimate because things can happen in the shop/gun store. We also do our best to not rush through the work and compromise the quality of the work it self. Custom work should not be rushed. I do apologize that we had your gun for 13 days. You picked it up mid week, there was no way for me to finish it till the following week due to the way our schedule at the shop works. I also would like to apologize for my less than professional attitude. Sometimes it can be hard to respond to people in a positive manor when you feel like you're being talked down to. It's our job in a retail/service based profession to maintain a professional and positive attitude and I admit my failure to do so. My only criticism is, as a newer customer, I was not familiar with their territories and I asked a guy who was not doing anything in the paint department if he could cut me a piece of copper tubing, to which he snapped back, " I don't work in that department" read more

Wayne did a professional job on my gun, kept in touch with me to let me know what was going on, and even offered to pick me up at the small airport (flew into Tulare in a private plane to pick it up)....Oustanding and friendly Guy! This is the best hardware store and service I have found in Tulare and Kings counties. They have the most knowledgable staff and if you can't find the part you're looking for at this store, you're not going to find it anywhere else. I was recently looking for a faucet washer and visited 6 retail and wholesale plumbing supply businesses who did not have any. Morris Levin had 3 in stock. I've also had the pleasure of working with the plumbing and air conditioning staff. The repairs are always done correctly and so they will not need to be repaired again. read more

First, this review is for the firearm portion of this business and does not reflect the hardware store portion. The hardware store looked amazing and the staff were supper nice upon entering the building. Now for the firearm store review. The pricing for the custom work offered is great and they do an average quality of work from what I have seen on their Instagram page. Customer Service for the Firearms operation of this business is 0/10. I initially called to set up an appointment to have custom grip work done on my pistol, this was in January of 2018, and they gave me an appointment date of in late May of 2018. Ok, understandable since the price is well worth the quality and I believe there are only two employees who do the actual custom work. So, I wait the 5 months and then drive an hour and a half over to the store to discuss what work I would like done and what pricing they have available. I decide on the base level package that only covers a minimal portion of the grip. The employee writes up my order and says that it will be done by the weekend or Wednesday at the latest. Now my appointment was on a Wednesday the week prior, so 7 days maximum for the job to be done. I told the guy perfect and paid up front as well as for the shipping, so I could just get it through FedEx and not have to make the 3 hour round trip. A week goes buy and no news from anyone, they took down my number and email, so I was expecting some kind of shipping confirmation prior to it being sent out. I end up giving them a call the day after it was expected to be done at the latest. I ask to have them check on the order of my firearm and they tell me that the employee who handles all of the information regarding the custom work is not available at that time, so I left them my name and number and they said that he would get back to me shortly. 6 days pass from that first phone call inquiry, so I call them up again. Rinse and repeat I get the same talk about the only guy being unavailable and that if I leave my info I'll get a call back. (Well if it didn't happen the first time) I leave it again and let the guy on the phone know that I would be driving through the town where they are located the next day and would rather stop by and pick it up instead of it being shipped. He takes down the info and says he will have "the guy" call me back. Next day, no call, hit them up about 30 minutes out from their location and ask for a status, "the guy" just went to lunch. (Ok, 2:20 lunch time, maybe it was a late shift). I get into town have lunch of my own, show up at the store around 3:30 ask for a status, they guy at the counter goes to get "the guy", he walks up and asks for my name, says oh yeah you had the so and so gun, yep that's the one. Well I haven't even started on it yet, been busy. Ok, so when is it getting done. Maybe at the end of the next week if not the week after. Well then why did you tell me it would only be a week max. I got backlogged. (at this point I was done dealing with them, between the unreliable date of completion and the negative number out of ten star customer service, I just asked for my gun back and a refund). His response "ok, less work for me". I'm not sure what compelled me to stay so calm, but I didn't say a word. After such a lack of customer service you're going to blow off an unhappy customer, who is rightfully unhappy with a lake of care about the customers business. The best part is that had this guy responded to my initial two phone calls in any way and informed me of the delay and gave me an expected time of completion, I would have been fine with it and said take your time. TLDR (always at the bottom so you read first): Price is good, work is average and customer service is negative whatever out of 10. "The Guy" needs to realize that a little customer service could go a long way, but instead chooses to have none. read more

Lawnmower service department -- awful, incompetent service, employees lied as to services performed, refused to correct, president demanded full payment when mower (lawn tractor) was returned to us in non-running condition. Employees had no idea what they were doing. Entire defective carburetor had to be replaced by another company. Because of latter's documentation, our credit company saw to it that a portion of what MLS charged us would be credited back to us. read more

Morris Levin has to be the worst place on the planet to buy a Sthil product..I bought a blower and paid close to $300 and the motor siezed and they said I had put straight fuel in it...blower was 2 weeks old...so they ended up doing the warranty...after two weeks I pick up blower ...blower looked liked it had been thrown around....so I go home to use it...it falls apart...I take it back and they said it worked when it left...they did not start it in front of me.....then the son of the owner David Atlas who wouldn't have a pot to piss in if his daddy hadn't given him his current job...started mouthing off calling me a piece of shit Mexican....cussing and his bad attitude...threatens to call the police...poor customer service read more
