I had a couple of my vehicles worked on out there with no problems whatsoever. Since I had had good…read moreluck, my Dad decided to take his vehicle out there to get some work done also. The ignition module needed replaced and he couldn't do it since he just had quadruple bypass surgery and my brother and I wasn't going to do it because it was in the middle of winter. Well Dad had already had the part and he said that he would put it on anyway and just charge Dad labor. So the part was supposedly put on. The next day it was acting up again so Dad called out there and he said he couldn't get it in for another 2 to 3 weeks. Dad decided to to keep driving the car until it went in but it got so bad that it wouldn't hardly run. He took it out there and dropped it off. 6 weeks later he called Dad and said it was done. 4 of us with shovels had to go out and dig the car out of the snow just to pick it up. How can that be you ask? That's because it was never repaired!!! Dad got the car home and my brother did some investigating. He took the part off and found that it was the original part because it still had the Ford emblem on it. Dad had to buy another part and my brother replaced it, in the dead of winter. The new part said "made in Mexico". So Dad took the original part back out to Shelby Quick Lube and held it up in his hand. He looked at the owner and said "you got me this time, but you will never get me again". He never got a refund for his bill and he never took another one of his vehicles back out there and as a matter of fact, neither have I. I had to move the vehicle to a public parking area because the leak continued and the transmission fluid level was extremely low afterward.
