I mean, as I read through…read morea couple of the previous reviews, I began to wonder...just what more could folks possibly want or expect from a typical full service car wash? Well, let's start with the value. Up until recently, I've been subscribed to Camps Car Wash. Now, whilst there's nothing inherently terrible about that place, the two main things that diverted my attention towards Golden Nozzle were: 1) The fact that all their subscription packages are $10 lower than Camps and 2) FREE vacuums!! I'll be honest....they had me at free vacuums. Seriously, do you realize how rare this is? It's absolutely mind boggling how many car washes still feature coin operated vacuum stations in 2024. I'm sorry. But any place that requires me to carry physical coins around in my pocket or car like it's 1985 is a hard pass for me. This may seem slightly pedantic to some of you old-schoolers out there. But the fact remains....when there's a more efficient way to do things, we should probably embrace that. That's what Golden Nozzle does well. They have essentially modernized themselves in a way that, quite frankly, most other car washes in the area could either improve upon or...just haven't adapted fully yet. With all that being said, there's one minor complaint I have regarding the infrastructure of this location. Now, I'm not certain if their other locations are similar in orientation. But the double lane entrance situation they've got going on is....a bit confusing to newcomers. See, whilst they COULD have labeled each of these entrance points as either "tunnel wash" or "touch free wash", you don't actually figure any of that out until the literal fork-in-the-road point where you have to make a split decision on where to turn. Oh, but they make sure to have plenty of "Go Unlimited for $19.99" signs alongside both lanes. Hence, the confusion. The TL;DR version of this would be: pull into the left lane for the main service. It's worth mentioning that if you're a monthly subscriber like I am, this only applies to the non-touch free wash anyway. So, yeah...left lane is what most patrons will want. Another thing I still don't like is a car wash's proclivity to perch themselves on a one-way street; inexorably requiring folks who'd like to go the other direction to make a hasty U-turn. However, I understand why this strategy is applied (it's to prevent a mini-traffic jam post wash), so...not really a huge lament for me. At least they aren't situated atop a steep hill with a blind curve the way Camps on Amherst street is. Anyways, this will be my go-to car wash until or unless I discover something even better. Starting and canceling membership couldn't be easier either. Both can be done completely online. You just have to be sure to let them scan your digital barcode (not the QR box) on the first visit to acquire your windshield sticker; which goes on the INSIDE of your car (unlike Camps Car Wash). See, there are more amenities to consider regarding a car wash besides how clean your car comes out. I mean, let's be real here; results may vary in terms of immaculateness. Who knows whether the previous reviewers of this location went on some intense off-roading adventure prior to getting their vehicles washed or something? Seriously, if you want guaranteed "spotless" results, just wash your own damn car! Anyways.. There's actually three reasons why I prefer this location to the one on Broad Street.. 1) It's WAY easier to get into and out of, due to how it's situated irrespective to the road. Once you get used to it, that is (more on this in a bit). 2) There are twice as many free vacuums here. 3) Given its convenient location next to a vast parking lot, it grants me the ample opportunity to pull off to a nearby parking spot so I can adequately dry my car's windows and exterior. Because lemme tell ya, that third reason becomes all the more paramount once you realize the supersized blow dryers at any given car wash these days are actually quite terrible at drying cars. I have a feeling I'd get better results if I ripped down the freeway at 80mph. And that's really saying something. As for the layout....look, I ain't gonna sugarcoat it. The place looks as if it's under permanent construction. And I've been going to this spot for a little over 2 months now. The obscurely distracting wire fence which sits around the main entrance of the car wash, combined with its odd placement tucked tightly next to the gas station made it tricky to find the actual car wash lane the first time I tracked this spot down. Not only does the entrance face AWAY from the street, there's also no direct exit back to Amherst Street without first navigating around the grassy median. Which means regardless of which direction you're coming from on Amherst, the best way to enter is via the west side entrance by turning at the light just by the gas station intersection. You'll know you're in the right place once you see all the vacuums. Otherwise, you'll just barely miss the sign which is overshadowed by the Shell station's sign. Yeah, it's a confusing mess. But not all that difficult to get used to. So at the end of the day, I prefer this location to the other one. Even if it IS further from my house. It all comes down to convenience. I've mentioned in other reviews how annoying it is that with a majority of car washes (at least in Nashua), nearly all of them are situated on one-way stroads. Nine times out of ten, I have to either pull a U-ey or painstakingly make two left turns and a right to go the opposite direction. While it may seem bizarre to some, I'm giving this particular Golden Nozzle Car Wash 4 nearly spotless, yet not quite dry, compact SUVs out of 5.

Do your own watch once in awhile cuz you can get the stuff that the automatic can well the hose was busted basically soaking me royally and I filled out one of the little forms and sent it in and within about 2 weeks I got a refund for the car wash so I giving credit there. But I think what they need to do also is hey guys walk around and check all your equipment to make sure it works because that hose has been like that for a while. It just got bad enough that I actually couldn't use it

When the terminal would not accept my code, I drove through, parked and found an employee and showed him my receipt. He asked to see my car tag. When I told him I never had one, he claimed my receipt was not from this car wash and that they had NEVER offered the 5 or 10 wash options that I have always bought. I admit I was not pleasant and told him he was either mistaken or just flat out lying. All I know is I still have about 8-9 washes on this receipt (bought the 10 wash deal this past winter) and now it seems I am out $80 or so. Hopefully management will see this and communicate back to me. After notifying the Better Business Bureau, the owner, Joe, asked that I call him. He apologized for his employee's behavior, explained that the kiosk that is used to enter the self-service information had issues, and refunded the remainder of my purchased.

It smelled so good and I loved the deep clean - absolutely worth every last cent. I then lost everything I own in a house fire in August. I was able to get a few things back, mostly clothes, which were soaking wet and covered in ash and soot. If you've ever smelled one, you know how distinct the smell of a house fire is, and it's so hard to get the smell out, so it seemed like a nearly impossible task to get the smell out of my car after wet, soot covered clothes were laying on my fabric seats. PressureWorks achieved the impossible, and my car was left looking, AND smelling, just as good as the first time they detailed it.
