I do have to say that things have improved quite a bit as far as appointment times and wait times. (As long as you DO NOT book with Dr. Zehnder). I am a patient of Exodus healthcare in Magna. My provider is romey Johnson. I was given samples of Veizah, was advised to call 7 days prior to me running out for the new prescription. I did request the new prescription under portal but never heard back. Called yesterday and I informed them that I was completely out of my medication the young lady that helped me said she would send a message to my provider. I never heard back so called again today, person helping me this time said that there's nothing they can do because my provider was out. I requested her send a message to the manager or to a provider so I may get samples to hold me up until my prescription was sent in or just sending a new prescription. I never heard back so I called back again today, this person on the other line said they would check with the manager and placed me on hold came back on the line and stated that for the manager they couldn't help me and I would need to wait until a provider was back in the office. I left a message on the manager's line, send a portal message to another MD in the office, even left a message to the compliance officer for Exodus read more

So I schedule an appointment with Brian Zehnder in the patient portal and I arrive 15 min early to a lobby with only 2 people waiting. I am like sweet it's not busy so I can get this done quickly. I check in sit in the lobby to wait, and wait I did. 35 minutes after my appointment time the lobby has turned over completely twice. Every single person who came after me has been seen. I walk up to the front desk to inquire and there is no sorry for the wait or let me check on how long this will be. Just I can process the refund. Not even a have a nice day. I was a patient at Exodus Healthcare in Magna for two years, and unfortunately, my experience was consistently disappointing. During that time, I was transferred between four different doctors, which made it difficult to receive consistent or effective care. I was frequently charged incorrectly for services, and each time I had to personally call and have the billing corrected. The front office staff often seemed uninformed or unable to assist, routinely redirecting me to Amanda Gordon in West Valley rather than helping themselves. One of the most upsetting experiences occurred when I had an appointment after a car accident. I needed help with three legitimate issues: a shoulder injury requiring an MRI (which was written for the wrong shoulder and had to be redone), refills for essential daily medications (thyroid and hormone replacements), and a persistent cough related to asthma that required an inhaler refill. The doctor I saw--whom I later found out is the owner of the clinic--entered the room and asked what I needed. After I explained the three issues, he told me he was too busy and could only address one. I was shocked. I explained that all three were serious and could not be delayed. His response was to stand up, say I had now wasted the time he had to handle even one issue, and then he walked out of the room. When I called to file a complaint about how I was treated, I was told I had been permanently discharged from all Exodus clinics. To make matters worse, my access to the patient portal was immediately blocked, preventing me from printing my own medical records or accessing my information to give to a new provider. This created a delay in getting my necessary medication and care. I have never felt so disrespected and dismissed by a healthcare provider. The lack of compassion, professionalism, and basic patient care I experienced at Exodus Healthcare Magna was appalling. I strongly caution others to be aware of how patients can be treated here, especially by leadership. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone. read more

I had the best doctor there...Ashlie Jordyn Burrow. I called to make an appointment & she was "gone." Do you think in this age of technology they could notify us? I cant say that i was totally surprised because she worked so many hours I don't know how she kept her sanity. I had another issue so i asked about another specialist. He was gone too! Yet all of them are still listed on the "staff" website. They've never had state-of-the-art technology. Portal was down more than should be acceptable. So, i guess Im done with them. She will be hard to replace. I drove 45 minutes to see her so, even tho Im sure my next doctor will be closer, it will be hard to replace her. of all businesses, you'd think heathcare would value their employees. This office is a damn joke! My husband fainted at work and hasn't been able to return to work until the doctor completes his FMLA papers. He was seen in the clinic on July 17th and the doctor gave him a note giving him the all clear to go to work. He however did not fill out the FMLA papers sent to his office. Which I'm told requires another damn appointment with another $30 dollar copay. He is just trying to get back to work. His job is being threatened and the damn office will not fill out the papers. He had to wait until an available appointment which takes him out of work even longer to get damn paper work filled put. ​I'm happy to report that my doctors office completes paper work and doesn't require a separate appointment with a second copay for that. So I would HIGHLY suggest not going to this place EVER!! On a positive note Simon B the appointment setter was extremely helpful in getting a message to the doctor and setting up an ANOTHER appointment to get papers filled out. In my opinion Simon is the only person there that understands what the other side is going through. Very compassionate about her job and who she serves. Understands that my husband's job and our lively hood depends on him getting back to work in a timely manner. I appreciate her and hope her talent isn't overlooked. read more

So they make us another appointment for an hour later, but told us we had to go through urgent care. The wait for that was almost 2 hours even with an appointment. I went here on a Monday. I called the office first thing in the morning to get an idea of the wait time; a lady answered my questions fast amd agreed i should come in (I shared my symptoms over the phone). Cough, sore throat, running nose, and more) It's in a great location, and the staff is very friendly and understanding which is very much appreciated with today's common colds and more. I finally feel better after three weeks of being sick, so I went to the doctor last week. They gave me an antibiotic, and a week later, I was 100%. My advice is to go to the doctor as soon as you can. If you are under the weather, you never know. It could be many things; mine was a serious contiguous sinus infection. They also did a covid and flu test simultaneously, and an easy swap of nose results very after. On side note things Being yelp Elite and being more aware of surroundings and people's views Is one of the many reasons for being part of it. It helps me want to make sure my reviews are hopefully helping other yelp friends. Pros- Not too long of a wait. Great staff, friendly The location is amazing and well taken care of They provided you with a mask for nonstick and sick members. They also are very willing to answer all your questions. Cons- None that I can think of as far as the visit. However, it may be a good idea to put a little more salt on the sidewalk. Coming in was slippery, but I had boots on. They require you visit every time your prescription expires so that you can pay the dr. visit co-pay. This is a money-making scheme. They should just renew your prescription automatically, and let you determine when you need to see your doctor. You should also expect to wait at least 1 hour after your scheduled appt. because they are short doctors and will not hire more. This is another money-making scheme meant to put money in doctors' pockets and your expense and time. I have seen many angry patients in the waiting room. read more

Never took care of my MS never took any concerned about my medical needs to see a heart specialist. You never put me on cholesterol medicine and then when somebody did show that they cared about me he came from the University and he's a neurologist, but as soon as that happen, you shut me down because you know you never took no consideration to even think about my life also, matters clearly you don't care that's only obvious why your system don't care, what a good way to get rid of me knowing that you don't have to have a guilty conscious of never caring about me in the first place. read more

This has been my clinic for 2 years now and every time I come in or speak to someone over the phone, it's so unprofessional. Only one or 2 of their staff members will be giving you the great customer service that you should be getting but the rest, absolutely unprofessional. Their volume when you are speaking with them when you check in is outrageously loud. The whole world knows your business. No type of confidentiality. I have a great family physician here at this clinic but their staff at the counters are just so disappointing. Like I said, there would be just 1 or 2 out of the staff that offer excellent customer service and care for us patients that come in but the rest of them just have a clock in and clock out attitude, heavy sighs when you speak with them, no eye contact half the time you're speaking with them, and just and 'I don't care' tone in their speech. I appreciate my physician Terrell Glenn and who is amazing in caring for me and my son but their ladies at the counter are just absolutely terrible and because of this, I'll be looking for another clinic who can offer better care and service for me and my son. I just hate that I now have to change and find a new family physician because Dr. Glenn is great. I was at an unnamed urgent care (cough cough look above Exodus Health Care) to be seen for flu-ish, rhino-virus, or pneumonia symptoms. I got there 20 minutes before closing (I know not cool) they said they had a one hour wait. I was fixin to sit down and wait when they informed me they would not be able to see me. I asked if there was any other clinics open at 9:40 p.m. they said if you're having an emergency go to the E.R., I said it's not an emergency I'm sick. I was informed maybe but only maybe a clinic about 5 miles away. (Thinking now a wild goose chase would not have been very fun.) I asked if they knew if they took my insurance (the most widely used insurance in the state of Utah I did tell them my insurance) they didn't know. They told me I could come back tomorrow that's when the "not feeling well me" said something I shouldn't have (my though to action ratio has a very thing filter when I'm sick) I informed the unnamed clinic (cough cough see above) that I work for a living hence the insurance. My wife politely took my hand (like I was an unnamed executive branch leader) and assisted me out of the clinic. On my way out the gate keeper of the clinic gave us a paper that said "low budget urgent care." If this was an official review please know it would be a 10th of a star out of 5 full stars. My husband went in with a possible kidney stone(it'd be his first). As well as a fever and peeing blood. They took a urine sample gave him a strainer and a dilator. Then sent him home. Later that evening when he was feeling worse he used doctor in demand(app). The doctor instructed him to go to the ER immediately. Now a week later and no labs back from the exodus urgent care we have been to the ER and a urologist. Thankfully they all helped him otherwise who knows what would have happened with the terrible infection he had. will be sharing 2 experiences with Exodus. If you don't want to read everything, the takeaway is that their billing department is ridiculous, and they wrongfully charged me $100 once, which took months to get back. They tried to do it again at my last visit. This is because of their nonsensical "policies." Needless to say, I'm changing primary care providers and have already scheduled an appointment with a new one. November 2022: I was charged $100 to see my doctor when I have an insurance plan that has no deductible office visits and no copays to see your primary care physician. I had to call my insurance and get them to call Exodus and explain to them my plan. Apparently, it's "policy" to charge $100 if you haven't reached your regular deductible whether or not the deductible applies to office visits. Exodus's billing department never got back to me like they had promised, but in calling them frequently, I eventually got my $100 back. It was sent in a check and took months to get to me. July 2023: I had a second experience where essentially the same thing happened. I went to see my primary care and tried to charge me $100. My new insurance plan for 2023 has no deductible and a $0 copay for office visits. They told me that I had a deductible plan, which I do not. They "made an exception" for me to see my doctor, and I luckily didn't have to pay the $100. I called my insurance to confirm what plan I had. I then called Exodus to make sure they had my correct plan. They did, and confirmed that I did not have a deductable plan but explained that in order to not have to pay anything at check in, I had to have reached my out of pocket maximum and that it was a "courtesy" that they even allow people to not pay for the whole visit at check in because it's technically due then. The billing department lady made it clear that Exodus cares very much about making sure they get paid, even if they have to wrongfully charge you up front. read more

This place is nearly impossible to call and actually have someone answer the phone. I just waited on the phone for 45 minutes to reschedule an appointment. I finally hung up and called back and waited another 20 minutes when a person finally answered the phone. They try to get you to use the patient portal but it is not "configured" for my provider ?!?! I tried for another 30 minutes wait to talk to a "patient portal person" to help me change it online. They never answered. The next time I need to call and get nowhere, I will never reschedule. There is no excuse for the long wait times (if they ever answer) to get to a scheduler. read more

Brian basically didn't show any empathy to my situation told me I needed a damn physical just to get paperwork filled out??? They are very busy here. It can be days before they can see you. If your sick then either your better or your in the hospital before you get your visit. They are often late for your appointment. If you can get one. Twenty minutes late for my daughters appointment because of walk ins is bad for business. I understand that they need to make money but putting walk ins in front of appointments isn't ok. Before I get a lecture about triage. The walk ins were routine visits that were lower on the triage list than my daughter. The doctors are normally good if you can ever see them. So, everytime I think I'll give Exodus another try, I come away disappointed and ticked off. How can an "urgent care" facility not have a way to do any x-rays? What is the point of the "urgent care"? Are they just there to wipe your nose and say it's a virus? Their only answer is to try and schedule an appointment with one of the doctors for a week later or refer you to the emergency room! Biggest bunch of crap. Last time I went there they told me my ankle was broken when it was really my tibula that had a slight fracture. They had an x-ray machine then. I took my daughter in because her ear hurt and she was coughing. It's the 3rd time I've taken her in. They flushed her ear so that they could see her ear. I was so worried about her ear, I didn't think of much else. But before the dr walked out, I asked her to at least look in her throat. The dr didn't check her other ear or listen to her breath. They wouldn't have even looked at her throat if I wouldn't have aked. All she did was look in her right ear. She didn't listen to her breath or any of the other standard things that they always do when you take them in. They didn't even take her blood pressure! If O could give no starts I would. We have been waiting at the urgent care since 6:10pm this evening. You would think the MA"s are paying attention to their jobs. They call in three people in front of us that just got here and we have been waiting. When I told them that we had checked in about two hours ago they said that were going according to check in. I explain to them that we were to been called a while ago katia the nurse didn't seem to care and the young receptionist had a very bad attitude. We ended up asking to cancel our visit and the receptionist with an attitude said ok like whatever. People are sick they need compasión of you are not a people person leave and get another job! Exxodus itselt has made improvments. I really like my doctor a lot. The facility has had some serious issues in the past. And I think they are working to improve them. However, I am going to push them to completely do away with using Scheduling Solutions for referral appointments. Here is my review on them below. And it is east to look them up on Google and on FB and see a number of others compalin about the EXACT same issues I do. So clearly they have a pattern of TERRIBLE service... Scheduling Solutions is absolutely the worst and I mean worst scheduler in the Salt Lake Valley! I have had multiple referrals from different doctors through these clowns and Scheduling Solutions literally never follows up. Not in a week, two weeks, five weeks, never... Evern when you call and leave them messages. They even failed to schedule an important brain scan for me with the U of U to check for brain damage. And they scheduled the appointment on my end and never let the hospital know. So with a 5 month waiting list, I showed up for my supposed appointment (which was an all day appointment mind you) and the nurses came out and informed me that Scheduling Solutions never calendared it with them. So they sent me home and even with the mistake on their end, I had to wait 2 more months to be seen! Good thing I didn't have brain cancer, I would have been dead! These people are so unprofessional and downright awful at what they do, I honestly wish the doctors and hospitals would stop using them. People are dying from their lack of follow up. read more
