What a fantastic and unique experience! My best friend and I visited here when we were looking for something different to do, and did we ever find it! We signed up for a normal group experience, and must have lucked out because it was just us and a family of three, which allowed us a more intimate experience with the animals. We got to visit goats, sloths, zebras, wallabies, horses, and more. The two coolest experiences were definitely the lemurs and the kangaroos. The lemurs were energetic and fun, and I loved having them jump all over me! Be careful because the man with us got bit! The kangaroos were adorable and it was amazing feeding one. Make sure to dress comfortable, as one of the goats ate a hole into my friend's floral shirt! Also, they charge extra for credit cards. Definitely consider checking this place out! read more

We have been to several places that show us animals and allow us to briefly touch them . This place was completely different ! It starts with the personalized attention you get from the owner when you make your reservation and she isn't instantly asking for a cc number . We arrived and were greeted by the sweetest Irish wolfhound and Great Dane . Once some basic rules were gone over they gave us a very hands on tour of each enclosure . The lemurs were literally jumping on us and playing , the sloth was loose and able to move about as she wanted . The kangaroos were all around us and we got to feed as well as give a bottle to the big baby . They never rushed us or were pushy , actually they were so patient and each area didn't end until we were all done . They all answered questions clearly and patiently about the animals and how they started. The facility is immaculately kept , Way cleaner than my barn and breezeway. Very costly, not too sure why. It was a nice experience, but after sale tax for two people was $330 for two hours of petting exotic animals. They will take your pictures for an extra $60, but for $150 per person should be free. Just go to magic kingdom or other parks... get your money worth. read more

Wow. If Disney's Animal Kingdom is out of your budget, then definitely visit here! Although they don't have rides, and areas to get food, what tops this over Disney's Animal Kingdom is the hands-on animal interactions from animals/primates you thought you would never been able to handle! Plus it is way cheaper than Animal Kingdom and less crowds as Leslie and her staff will limit the amount of people during each slot (~90mins). I GREATLY enjoyed this experience, and I would write more, but that would ruin the experience for future visitors. So check this place out. read more

Took my fiancee here for her birthday and we had a wonderful time! The Exotic Animal Experience is definitely an Orlando attraction that is off the beaten path. This is great for locals as much as it is for outside visitors. Leslie and her staff are all wonderful and very knowledgeable about all the animals they have. It truly was a very hands on experience with these exotic animals. Our favorite part of the experience was playing with the lemurs and feeding the kangeroos. This was definitely a one-of-a-kind experience with lemurs, kangaroos, and more! After being introduced to the beautiful animals, Leslie gave us plenty of time to interact with the pets. Some my favorite moments include the following: -bottle-feeding Love Bug, an adorable kangaroo. -feeding one of the lemurs a marshmellow -cuddling with Mia, the adorable little mundjack deer -playing with the curious little lemurs, who were very comfortable around us -carrying a bush baby and kinkajou It was amazing to watch these animals live in harmony. :) We took like 200 photos during our 2 hour stay.. Leslie only takes small groups, so rest assured that you'll get plenty of time with these beautiful animals! Both of my traveling companions agreed that this excursion was THE BEST thing we did during our stay in Florida. read more

You had me at Lemurs! My idea of the topping on the cake, the lemurs were the first thing we saw. Jodi and Lynn are very knowledgable about the animals, from their origins and eating habits to where they like to be scratched! Playing with Tater as he went after my sunglasses was the best! We went to the zoo yesterday! It was my 3 teen girls and I. We did the group experience first...it was amazing! We got to interact with animals you typically wouldn't get to interact with. Zebra, camel, lemurs, sloth, kangaroo and more! Leslie, Garret and Jodie were very knowledgeable about all the animals and gladly answered all questions. The animals were very active and well kept! They have a huge area that they live in, play in and it's very clean. You can tell how much Leslie loves her animals. Her dogs were awesome too! My daughter did the simply sloth experience after the group experience for a graduation gift. She was in heaven! She got to hold, snuggle and feed the sloth. They also offered a great deal on photos. It was nice to be able to interact with the animals the whole time and not have to worry about taking pictures. As an animal lover it was great to go to a zoo and actually see happy well taken care of animals:) Thanks again for an amazing experience! read more

The workers were kind, funny, and knowledgable! They take good care of their animals. We got to pets all of the animals we wanted to, and we got to hold quite a few of them as well. Such a fun experience! I've been wanting to do something like this for forever. Found this place on yelp and decided to give it a go. It far surpassed my expectations! $95 a piece plus $40 for pics (well worth it since you just want to play with the animals). Staff was knowledgeable and super friendly. Greeted right away by two giant, friendly dogs. We were with a group of about 11. Saw some little guys first...sloth, bush baby, owl monkey etc. Then played with the lemurs for a good hour, petting armpits and being jumped on. Hung out with kangaroos, goats, wallaby, and an exotic deer (can't think of the name). Feed, pet and even spooned! So much fun, highly recommend. Wear shoes and clothes you don't care about getting dirty. At one point I was laying on the ground taking selfies with a lemur in the mud. No need to pay the extra money to not be in a group. You get plenty of time with the animals. No purses or loose items, cameras welcome. read more

I love animals and was so excited about this stop on our vacation. I was hoping that it was what it appeared and it definitely was. I think we paid $75 each for hubby and I. She only takes 4 people every 2 hrs. Very hands on. This was a horse farm at one time and the owner has transitioned into more exotic animals. We started playing with the lemars and jack deer, then headed to kangaroo pen and hand fed the 3 kangaroos. Headed to the lama who had a fascination with my shirt, the 2 goats, mini pig, and then had the opportunity to pet the young zebra. I had a fantastic experience and would recommend for someone looking for a non-commercialized excursion with a place that really cares for their animals. read more

I took my wife and 8 year old son to the Exotic Animal Experience based on a co worker's recommendation and positive experience there. I called and made a reservation and visited their facility two days later. When we arrived we were greeted by the owner Leslie who immediately made you feel at home and like you were visiting a friend with rare animals. During our 90 minute visit we saw, kangaroos, Lemurs, deer, a Lama, and a Zebra. The animals are well cared for and we never felt that they were aggressive. Had a great time here with my family. This is very hands on and interactive. It was $120 per person for about 2 hours. There are 2 very big dogs when you first walk in prior to the tour. After spending some time with them we went on to the exotic animals. We fed and pet kangaroos and goats. We also got to handle a sloth which was pretty interesting. We spent the majority of our time with the Lemurs which were very friendly and enjoyed being petted when they weren't jumping on your back. Would be nice if it was a bit longer and wasn't an unnecessarily high add-on fee for getting pictures taken. We all had a great time and its a unique experience. 5 stars. read more

We just finished a guided tour here, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Everyone here was so kind and knowledgeable. I've never experienced anything like this where it is so hands on with animals! It is so interesting to learn about all these animals and it is so obvious that they are in excellent hands, extremely loved, and so well cared for. One of my most memorable and special days. I'm a nature freak and love seeing animals up close and just observing them. My boyfriend and I had a down day while vacationing in Orlando and I decided to look online for sanctuaries or aquariums near by. I came across EAE on another site an it had absolutely amazing reviews. I decided to contact the owner Leslie and make an appointment for my boyfriend and myself as birthday gifts. Leslie and her assistant Jodi (sorry if I spelled that wrong) were absolute sweethearts. Very patient with us and informative about each and every animal. What I loved was they seem to love their animals very much and do this to educate people and give them a unique experience.. Not to mention they keep the property as well as the animals very clean. I've heard of other places dropping an animal in your lap for a 20 second photo opportunity and then on to the next. Not like that at all. The animals all interact and you go in their living space. They were all so friendly. Leslie explained how each animal liked to be touched and picked up which was important because you're going into these animals living space you want to be respectful of them as well. We met many different types of animals. We were greeted by her 2 adorable loving dogs. We met a bush baby, Wallaby, lemurs, kangaroos, deer, goats, pig, llama, zebra, chickens, bunnies, kinkajou, etc. I will definitely be returning! I have memories in the form of photo's thanks to Jodi.. She takes a lot of candid shots which I think is way better than posing with an animal. It's an extra $40 but well worth it. This place is amazing! My mother booked a trip here for us this previous weekend as a surprise girls day for sister, her and myself. The owner and her assistant (forgive, I forget her name) were very pleasant to deal with. We were under the impression we would be touring with a group, however ended up the only ones with reservations that day so we basically had a private tour. I don't want to give away all the details but I must say I feel it was a once in a life time experience to interact up close with so many animals in one place, and well worth the money. The owner mentioned they allow 2 hours for each tour, and that we flew thru it a bit faster then she expected. Our whole group agreed that we felt we spent fair time with each of the animals and never felt rushed to move on. I am sure 2 hours though is very fair when you have a larger group of people. All of the animals were very friendly and not intimidating at all for our first encounters. The grounds were VERY clean as well as all of the animals areas. Everything and everyone seemed to be very well taken care of. The hands-on experience with all of the lemurs, kinkajous, goats, kangaroos and more were VERY exciting. My favorite part had to be bottle feeding the kangaroos and getting hugs/kisses from them. I had no idea kangaroos could be such affectionate animals. The Muntjac deer were very cool and friendly as well (the baby is still a bit timid of people though). All in all, I wish they were closer and I could go visit more often! The owner was also very cool with recommending a local place to eat at following the visit (Lone Cabbage Fish Camp) where we followed up with great food and an air boat ride.
