If you read my reviews or follow me on Yelp you know I hardly ever write poor reviews. Unfortunately, this last Thursday I got that winning lottery ticket. A month ago I called up Exotix Designs to schedule a side mirror wrap. I inquired about a specific day and time and a male who identified himself as Eric over the phone scheduled me down for the selected day at 9:00am. The day before my appointment I called Exotix Designs to ask about a price estimate, which again Eric picked up the phone and assisted me with an estimate. Very cool, I was excited for the appointment everything was lined up and I had enough cash to pay for the service. I pulled up to Exotik Designs approximately 15 minutes ahead of the appointment time. Mind you this is a Thursday morning at 845am. The business was empty. Not one light on. I understand that sometimes life happens, stuff pops up. I took a photograph outside the business to add to Yelp in excitement. Just after 9am I called Exotix Designs phone number. After many rings, Eric picked up the phone. I reminded him of the scheduled appointment he booked me for. Eric told me he was running late and to just drop the Porsche keys in the key box. Eric continued to tell me he wouldn't have a time estimate for job completion and that his 2-3 employees were also busy and he was busy running a business. I was pretty dumbfounded with the phone conversation. First off, I've never met you Eric and no way in hell am I dropping my wives Porsche off at your shop without checking you out. Second, how does a legit business owner who wants my business blow off a scheduled appointment. I'm not someone who just trusts people who blow me off and let the Porsche keys fly to a key box without knowing the person who's touching our property. To wrap this up, reading one of the other 12 undetailed Yelp reviews for this business I get the vibe that Eric doesn't really care about his customers and his last phone conversation with me confirmed that. I'll gladly take my business elsewhere. Eric never even followed up with me over the phone to reschedule. His loss. If you are a car enthusiast who values service and respect for one's time I'd stay as far away from this shop as possible. The best part of this entire experience was Exotix Designs business hours on their front door listed Monday-Friday 9am-5pm and on their website! Knock knock...nobody's home! Update 6-6-2025: On 6-3-2025 we stopped by the shop and spoke with the owner, Greg, after discovering a few very small imperfections in the paint protection that we had installed about two years ago (it has a 10-year warranty). He said it would be no problem to fix it and to bring it back on Thursday (6-5-2025), which we did. A few hours later, it was good as new with no charge. We still highly recommend Exotik Designs. While you're there, take a look around the garage/showroom - there are always a few interesting projects in progress (like a replica of the Jurassic Park movie tour vehicle). read more

Very disappointed in the quality of customer service and timelines provided for my motorcycle tank wrap. Dropped tank off before thanksgiving and understood a little delay for holidays but at this rate I want to just take it back unwrapped because I have waited since then and been given unreliable time estimates, and let down by "deadlines" three times now. Very unsatisfied and would not want to do business again. Tried being patient but consistently let down by extreme lack of communication and unrealistic deadlines that were never met. Eric and Stephen did an amazing job on my 2022 X3M Competition that I picked up few weeks ago. They did the Xpel full car PPF. I had my car ppf'd before but this is by far the best place to do it in town. They wrapped most of the edges, if you aren't the owner you wouldn't even be able to tell that the car was ppf'd. Lastly they applied ceramic pro on top of the car, they also applied ceramic pro on the wheels and calipers so that it would make a breeze to clean the car up.
