I had a sore throat and was congested, yet the doctor that day claimed it was a sinus infection and prescribed me antibiotics. I had to ASK, ASK....to be tested for COVID and strep. The doctor was okay with it, but the nurse who saw me that day overheard me and said in a very snobby and know it all tone "she doesn't need that test". By the way, if you were that nurse just know the walls are transparent and the patient can hear everything you say. They also didn't caution me to monitor my symptoms and see if it progresses worse. Oct 10, 2024 - at lunch time I decided to take a COVID test and sure enough....POSITIVE FOR COVID. Luckily I didn't start the antibiotics bc I was very distrustful of the diagnosis. The nurse and doctor who saw me should know that I can tell they either don't care about their patients or need to be re-educated on how to do their job. The urgent care had only one other person being seen at the same time as me so they were not in a rush. I feel very disrespected and will not be coming back.

I was apprehensive about going to urgent care so close to closing time - worried I could not get great care. It was around 3PM and the place closed at 4PM. Boy was I wrong. The service here was impeccable and despite it being last minute, the physicians assistant were patient and did multiple tests to rule out all potential issues with my heart. The front decks check in was simple and the attendant greeted me with a smile. The medical assistant was kind, attentive and thorough. Overall, great experience here. I left confident that every rock was turned before diagnosing me. The icing on the cake is that I got a call a few days later to make sure I was feeling better. Once I was told they were too busy to schedule an appointment over the phone. The level of incompetence and lack of urgency from the front desk staff was unbelievable. They were unorganized, dismissive, and completely unprofessional, showing no consideration for a sick child or for patients' time. I would strongly recommend avoiding this place altogether and going to the other urgent care on the island, where you'll likely find staff who at least know how to do their jobs.

Then when I called to have it fixed they said somewhere in the paper work (fine print) I agreed to have them auto draft any outstanding balances. I live on a very small budget and would not have knowingly agreed to auto drafting anything as now I cannot pay the deposit for my new place and they have refused to return the 2nd copay that I truly think I shouldn't have been charged for as they didn't have the equipment needed functional on the first visit. So here I sit, waiting another 2 weeks basically pondering homelessness because they set up an auto draft and set up a scenario for double billing me. Be wary all!
