I go to Experience for my facialist as well as my amazing hair stylist (who is always so booked in advanced due to her awesomeness, she doesn't take new clients- lucky me, you, not so much!) It houses various hair stylists, facialists, massage therapists, manicurists, and almost everything under the sun you can enjoy to pretty yourself up. It should also be called "Glam Squad Station". Each person has their own business so you can google and find the names of the people who work out of it, or you can simply visit and grab a business card from the front foyer area or swing around and meet them. Love my hair after visiting Jennifer. I too had a Groupon for Jennifer Knowles and she did a fab job with my hair. Great color and highlights, and a cut that works for my face shape. She is a very sweet woman and I had an super experience visiting her salon today.She has a warm personality, and a front booth that is bright and light and cheerful. This is a very nice place. Each space is a separate room owned by the stylist. It is completely private. I bought a Groupon put out by stylist Jennifer Knowles. She cut and colored my hair and I love it! But she isn't talkative at all, which makes me uncomfortable, and that's why I only gave her 4 stars instead of 5. read more

I purchased a Groupon for Jennifer Knowles and after my first visit I thought she did a good job with my hair so I made a 2nd appt. When I got to my appt. there was a note on her door saying that she had left sick (hopefully nothing to serious) but when I made the appt. she had mention she had a wedding to go to on that specific day and that she might want me to come in early, I heard nothing so I showed up at my regular time, I feel like she should had at least sent me a text or call to reschedule or something, I just thought it was a bit unprofessional. read more

I recently moved to Wake Forest and was in search of a hairstylist who could do something with hair that I have made so many mistakes with! I made an appointment with Jennifer Knowles and I'm so glad I did. She suggested a cut and a color treatment based on my face shape and coloring and I simply could not be more pleased. AND, for the first time, I can actually get my own hair to come out the way I want it to because of the cut and her suggestions for care on my own. Her booth is very warm and friendly and I enjoyed our conversation while my hair was processing. Jennifer is now the only person I will consider going to and if anyone is looking for a new stylist, I couldn't recommend Jennifer more! I haven't felt this great about my hair ever! read more

My husband bought me a haircut/highlights Groupon from Jennifer Knowles for my birthday, and I was very disappointed with the outcome of my experience. I was happy with the cut that I had received, but after going home and washing/styling my hair, I was very unhappy with the brassy color of the highlights, especially since I had emphasized to Jennifer that I really wanted them to be a light blond color, without any type of orange/redish tint. After leaving a message for Jennifer, and also e-mailing her, she e-mailed me back, and her response surprised me. Instead of seeking to try to correct the issue, her e-mail was very short and pointed, and she seemed reluctant to resolve the color issue. After several e-mails back and forth to try to find a time for me to come in to get some type of fix (Jennifer was illusive as to what she could actually do), I finally gave up, and never did get the highlights fixed, much to my frustration. I was really disappointed with Jennifer's lack of professionalism in providing a resolution for a simple hair issue -- when I finally e-mailed her to express my disatisfaction and to say that I had given up on finding a resolution, I never received a response. For someone who states that she specialized in natural looking highlights on her bio on the website, it is surprising that she would do such a poor job and not even be willing to rectify it. I would certainly advice looking elsewhere for your color needs. read more
