Mane Event studio is a great place to get a men's haircut in Wake Forest. The place is clean and the service is top notch. I've gotten haircuts here in the past and usually book with Sami. Last week my son and I stopped in after booking online (which is awesome). He need a haircut cut BADLY!! We got two men's haircuts for roughly $50 (including tip) which is a good price these days. Took one of my kids in for a cut and Sami asked when I was going to do my hair - full disclosure, it's been about 6 months since my cut and color. Amid was incredible. If I could give it zero stars I would. Brand new to the area and decided to try a new place. I went in with 3 reference pictures, a style, a goal, and told specifically do not cut length as it's very important to me. I beleive his name was Ray. He took my glasses and set them on the counter ans began cutting and cutting. I couldn't see anything and mentioned that to him every time he showed me something. He just said "your welcome you will love it." Was hit on repeatedly throughout the appointment and seemed more interested in my number and all my information than really paying attention to the hair cut, he cut close to 4 inches off. I can't get my hair in a pony tail anymore due to the weird layer length and over all length. At the end when I got my glasses back I just told him it was fine so I could leave. I will not be returning and would recommend if you or someone close to you is a woman, maybe don't go to this guy. I have tried contacting the store twice with no replay. Except for a reply to my Google review saying they have "tried many time" to get ahold of me. Not true. Terrible salon. read more

I've shaved in below freezing temps in Korea with ice cold water and never did my neck feel like a tiger just ripped my throat out. Please learn that when someone is pulling their face away from your edgers that means it hurting. After speaking with the owner Sami, he was immensely apologetic. Great first experience at Mane Event! Sami gave me a great cut, style, and beard trim. I've been going to chains for a while (guys place, lady janes, sport clips, etc.) and can never get a consistent result; I have a feeling mane event will be different.
