I purchased a brand new unit 2 years ago from this company when Mark owned it and it was working great until....now. So it developed a leak from one of the copper pipes from the outside unit. only after 4 technicians, and better weather they were able to locate it. The cost to repair was very high, and I was somewhat upset because again this unit was only 2 yrs old. But the new owner JP heard about my dissatisfaction and contacted me and provided me with great customer service and we reach a fair and equitable agreement. Have been Expert Air customer for 6 years when they installed new system. However they did not recommend or install surge protector. Then 2 years ago a surge occured and damaged compressor. They installed new compressor and 14 months later all refrigerant leaked out. 24 hour service not availavle at the time. For 2 months owner has not responded to multiple calls. Staff says he is either ill or just left office. Never a return call. I do not recommend. They are fired. read more

What a great company - We were without our central air - Saturday morning, right at the time of the Solar Eclipse :) the whole system just seemed to BLOW! We called Expert Air - they would have come on the weekend - for a reasonable additional fee ($70?) but, it wasn't an emergency - the weather was relativity cool! Monday Mark showed up and he did everything - we could want - all the work and cleaning he did was fantastic! Mark was able to clearly educate us about the benefits of an Ultraviolet light sterilization system. My best friend had advised us to get one - but, I didn't realize how it works - it mimic's the ultraviolet light that comes from the sun's ray's -if it's in the sun - he said - mold can not grow! We had a 9 year old unit on its last legs that stopped working. The tech they sent us did a very thorough interior and exterior analysis and confirmed that it was ready to go because of age. He was very knowledgeable, and explained our options for a small condo in Naples. He gave it a refrigerant boost, because it was also low on that; a very small expense for all the work. We pondered our options for a few days, then last week called Expert Air back. They installed a brand new state of the art AC unit in less than a day for a very good price (I researched). We instantly noticed the better cooling, and air quality (we have allergies), and the unit is so quiet, both inside and outside, you barely know it's on ! In April of 2020 I had Expert Air come out and do my semi annual A/C cleaning before heading North for the season. The service tech told me that I had mold buildup and that I needed a air purifier. He sold me a unit called IWaveR. The unit was $1,225 and had a 3 year warranty. I just replaced my complete A/C this month (4/23) and was going to move the IWaveR unit over to the new system. The techs installing the new system told me that the I/WaveR unit was no good and wouldn't work. Because it was still under warranty I called Expert Air and asked how to get a refund they explained that I needed to go thru the manufacturer which is a company called Nu-Calgon. I called Nu-Calgon and was told that I had to file the warranty request with the wholesaler that Expert Air bought the unit thru. When I informed Expert Air of this they told me that they don't know who they bought the unit from. They said that they would try and find out but so far no one is calling me back from Expert Air. I've called them numerous times and was told that they would get back to me but nothing so far. The warranty on the unit expires the end of this month. Asked them to provide a quite on a repair (had to provide a credit card to get them to come do that) and then they proceeded to perform the repair without authorization and charged my card. Completely shady business. I will be sure to let my association know to stop recommending them. read more

Bought two Mitsubishi ductless heaters from Expert Air last year and was told there was a 12 yr warranty. One unit downstairs and was told that would heat all of downstairs. First year worked well, second year it isn't working well at all. Service call of $110 said nothing except everything working great. How is this when it is still cold in the room that has the unit? Rip off. $69 service charge Then $35 every 15 minutes on top $120 to drian a simple clog! The owner said he was going to give me $50 back have an email stating it, it never happened. After many service calls in which Fremont was added to our AC system I suggested there met be a leak. Technician then installed super seal. The retail price of the seal is 68.00. I personally watched the tech introduce it into the system it took 8 minutes. We were charged 89.00 for the service and 249.00 for the sealer. Letter of complaint was never resoonded to. I called and was told they follow a "guide" on what to charge. Do not use this service. The fact that they r plenished freon for several years before this and never suggested a possible leak indicates they are concerned only with receiving continuous service calls. read more

This company should not be trusted. We requested their help to take care with an issue with the previous owner who did not follow thru with the conditions of a permit. They refused to do anything to help us. The owner of the condo we are trying to purchase had to "Fire" Expert Air in writing before another contractor could request an new permit and clear the title to the property. A lot a extra work, and costly work, had to be done to get the proper clearance. Expert Air could have done this but refused. The owner offered to pay for the service but still they refused.
