Hi guys. I love writing good reviews, but this time I can't. I decided to change my old fence and searched the internet for my options. I found two companies that gave me the same price. I read the reviews and decided to choose Expert Fence. We agreed on when they would start the work and they said they would warn me two weeks before concerning the start date. Unfortunately, no one called me and I had to call and find out for myself. I understand that they are busy and forgot, I get it. They agreed with the inspector on an inspection date and forgot to tell me about it. It's a good thing that I have a video cameras and I was able to chat with him from work. They said that I shouldn't be at home when they change my fence. A company that has been in business for over 15 years and I believed them. When I came back from work the fence was already up and I was very happy. The next morning it was Saturday, I went out to look at the new fence and my backyard and I was horrified. First, there were piles of rubbish left by the workers near the fence and on the grass. I collected all of the mess all day long (photo attached). Then, I discovered that not all of the posts were filled with cement to the top. More than a dozen pickets were also cracked or cut (photo attached). I called the company and they said they would come out on Monday. On Monday, I took the day off work and spent it watching what they were doing. They dug out the earth around the posts again and added cement. Took the trash that I had collected. I lost a day of work and a day of pay to make sure that they do their job correctly. Three weeks passed, the weather was hot and sunny and several backer rails began to bend and one of the bolts on the gate fell off. I called them to fix their work, since they give a guarantee on their work for five years. I was told that they would call back and now three weeks have passed and still no one has contacted me. I will update every four months and let you know what happened to my new fence. read more
