John's fence did my neighbor's replacement fence but they moved the fence line deeper to my side damaging plants and property. Had John's team chosen to appropriately notify me that the line needed to be moved I would have been able to move what needed to be, and no damage would've been done. The complete lack of care and consideration, for me as the neighboring property, was astonishing. If you care about your relationship with your neighbors maybe consider a different comapny to do your fence. read more

I just had an old fence replaced by Johns Fence Inc and I'm very satisfied. I asked for an estimate from Johns and it came back better than I expected. I was impressed with how quickly they removed my old fence and the new fence is exactly what I hoped for. I also asked them to replace my mailbox post and not only did the crew set the new post but they also took the time to ensure the sleeve I bought to slide over the post fit correctly which of course it didn't. They trimmed the post just a little and actually installed the sleeve completely for me which was totally unexpected. I highly recommend John's Fence if you are looking for a new fence. I had a fence put up and at first I thought they did a good job. I at the time was in a wheelchair and using a walker, I was a pedestrian hit by a car crossing the street and severe injuries. I had the fence put up so I could let my dog out and for security. The gate latch is uneven and will not closed, I requested a latch that I could padlock and that is not the case. The gate is too close to the floor and drags on the floor making it very hard to close. I have called them numerous times and they have not responded. I have filed at complaint on BBB and they have not responded. I am a female with a disability and still have had no response. read more

Alonso came out within a few hours of my first contact, determined how best to repair our gates, explained what he'd do and why, offered a price, and made the repairs within a few days. For a fence that is about thirty years old, the gates now work like they're practically brand new! (And they had been repaired just a few years ago by another company - I won't say the name, but it rhymes with Maztec - for more money and not nearly as well done.) For the most part, I had decided on what kind of fence I was putting in before he came for the quote (we matched our neighbor's fence, not very exciting), but he brought a very nice portfolio of his work with different designs to choose from, for those who are "on the fence" about picking a design. We received two quotes, and the quote from Juan was lower, plus his pictures were better than the other company. After we accepted the quote, everything was seamless. I don't normally write reviews but my experience with John's Fence was so positive I feel the need to write. In 15 years of renovating our 90-year old house, I can count on one hand the contractors I would wholeheartedly recommend without hesitation-- Juan (the owner of John's Fence) stands out as one of the best. I was initially hesitant to hire him because he is young, but he assured me that he had a lot of experience because he has been working in the family fence business since he was a young teenager. His assurances proved to be true and his knowledge and experience were obvious on the job. He had lots of good ideas for some of the trickier aspects of construction. In addition, he was one of the most flexible, responsive, honest and polite contractors I have ever worked with. Our fence project was highly customized. In fact several other fence companies turned my project down ( I think the project (and I ) just seemed like too much trouble!) I am a designer and can spot a quarter-inch mistake from 25 yards away. Juan was unfailingly accommodating and understanding of my preferences. He never lost his patience ! In addition, the men who worked with Juan on the job were just as polite, hard-working and competent as he was. The end result is beautiful--our fence is solidly constructed and precisely detailed. Pricing on the job was very reasonable and clearly explained. I look forward to hiring Juan to complete fencing for another section of our yard this year, and I have recommended him with complete confidence to friends and neighbors. read more

We got three quotes for our aluminum fence. John's was the fastest to bid and could do the job the quickest. He was also half as much as one quote and 75% of the other. I got a little worried but the brand of fence he used was very highly rated. He started the job on time and was unfazed when my husband changed the fence design in the middle of installation. He ordered more fence to complete the changed design and did not even have us pay the second half until it was 100% complete even though he had done 95% of the work. After getting a higher quote and estimated wait time 4-6 weeks before they could do the fence, my husband called Johns Fence. Within the same week, we got an estimate and our fence was installed today. I am a stay at home mom but for safety concerns (because I'm crazy) I don't like work being done without my husband home. He was not able to be home for this job so I was a little nervous. The two guys that were here were so nice and friendly and they just busted out the fence in no time and left. I highly recommend John's fence. The owner came out right away to give us an estimate. He was very professional, friendly, listened well and answered all our questions. We had some unique features in our yard due to utilities which he gave us great advice on. We had some special requests that he was very flexible on. I liked that he brought a portfolio of photos of prior jobs so we could get an idea of what different styles would look like and that he did a good job. His price was very affordable. He scheduled the job in a timely manner and worked around our calendar. Finally, his crew were very professional, courteous and fast. They cleaned up after themselves and respected my neighbors yard by not leaving a lot of tools or materials in their space.
