They came back and re-sided the chimney, but didn't bother to follow the maunfacturers instructions. I emailed them three times asking them if they were going to address this, and they haven't even taken the time to reply. As the President of our Board of Directors, I'm tasked with doing my best to protect everyone's investment. One way I'll do that is by never hiring these guys again.

I have timestamped photos showing these items being present before work began and during, and missing after their crew finished. Despite providing this evidence and a detailed timeline, the company repeatedly denied responsibility, suggesting the items may have been moved before their arrival, even though we had not lived in the home and no other work had occurred during that time. It makes no sense for us to lose these 3 random items as they claimed when there were much more valuable items in the impacted room. The company promised comprehensive documentation of all items handled for insurance purposes, but what I received was incomplete and inconsistent. Some photos were sent to my husband, and there was no clear record of items removed from certain rooms and where they placed each item in the kitchen. When issues were raised, the company provided shifting explanations and ultimately refused to reimburse the $373.96 replacement cost for the missing items. Additionally, I had to correct a previous billing error where I was charged for all quoted hours that were not worked. This, combined with the poor communication and lack of accountability, left me with no confidence in their professionalism or customer service. I am sharing this experience so other homeowners are aware of the risks and documentation issues. If you expect clear records and accountability, I recommend considering another company.

I'm embarrassed to say we've never had the fireplace serviced in the 25 years we've been in our home. I didn't realize it was something that should be done. Now I know! I moved the logs around to vacuum it out and could not figure out how to put the logs back properly in place. I called Perfect Temp and spoke with Amber. She was very friendly and knowledgable and made an excellent first impression as a representative of the company. I called a different place in Olympia earlier in the same day and the rep was condescending and kind of a jerk. I called Perfect Temp on Monday, 1/13/25. They had a cancellation and were able to come the next morning. Xxxxx arrived a couple minutes early. He was friendly and wasn't bothered by our little dogs barking at him. He got right to it. We were astounded when he finished. The fireplace looks brand new and runs like a charm. Instead of dusty, loud, inefficient and not pretty; we now have an immaculately clean beautiful, quiet fireplace, with a really nice fire. We are impressed enough with this one visit, that we are going to sign up for annual maintenance for our fireplace, heating/cooling and whatever other services they offer.
