My current lasher moved too far away so I was seeking a reputable salon for my fills, as any good client I made my appointment two weeks out for their earliest appointment (with a lasher with good reviews). A week later I received a message that my appointment was moved from the morning to the afternoon. This didn't work with my schedule so I went online to rebook my appointment. Now, there are fewer morning appointments available and I'm having to push back my length of time between fills. I found an early appointment, on a different day, with a deferent artist that had good reviews so I booked that. I received the 48 hour confirmation for my appointment, and confirmed right away. Fast forward to MIDNIGHT that same day (the day before my appointment!!) and I get a text saying that my appointment is now with a completely different lasher and a later time. Needless to say, I cancelled my appointment and I will go to another salon. I don't understand where this is acceptable. I hear horror stories all the time about clients cancelling last minute and trying to dictate their lashers schedules. Never would I think a SALON do this.

The confirmation listed the location as 410 Evernia St., Suite 104. I arrived at the address for my appointment but could not locate the studio or any signage for La'Donna Paris. I went inside the building and asked the front desk for assistance and was directed outside, but I still could not find the business. While I was there during my scheduled appointment time, I emailed La'Donna asking for help locating the studio and specifically requested a phone call. I never received a response. I ultimately had to leave without receiving the service I had booked. Afterward, I tried using the contact page on the business's website and received a "page not found" error. What is especially frustrating is that the business is still listed online as open and is accepting/sending appointment confirmations, despite there being no apparent storefront or signage at the listed address and no response when I needed assistance finding the location. I understand that things happen, but if your business has moved, changed how clients are seen, or is no longer operating at this location, that information needs to be clearly communicated before customers arrive for confirmed appointments. I'm leaving this review because I don't want someone else to take time out of their day, travel to the listed location, and experience the same thing. I do not recommend going here.

She recommended which method I should do (powder) based on how much brow hair I had. I was super nervous to get the powder because I really wanted it to look natural. And most powder brows look like the person applied atleast a little makeup to their brows. I wanted a look that was more natural than that because I usually wear no makeup and the hair on my head is thin so I didn't want the brows to be too overpowering for my face. I ended up taking her advice all the way after hearing her knowledge and seeing pics of her work. And they came out perfect. They came out so natural that people who saw me in the weeks after didn't even realize I had my brows done! I waited atleast a month before writing the review because I wanted to go through the whole healing process before reviewing. Even my healing process was great. I kept waiting for it to get darker and thicker for a few days and it never did. Kept waiting for a ton of scabbing and barely had any. I'm still shocked by how easy/breezy my healing process was! My only issue (and warning to those doing these procedures): the last person I went to in 2020 must have given me some scarring because there's a little spot Josie kept going over with the color but it wouldn't take. So unfortunately my brows are not 100% identical. I have to put a little pencil on the end of one of them. But that's not Josie's fault. That's my fault for not coming to her the first time. Really hoping that in the touch up phase the color will sink in. Because that would make my brows 100% identical! And in real life I've been told my brows aren't even sisters - they're distant cousins! So Josie is truly a perfectionist who listens to what her customers want. None of that was disclosed before I purchased the Groupon. When I asked how I was supposed to get a refund, I was simply told to "contact Groupon." There was no offer to help and no indication that the Groupon should have been removed while services were unavailable. If you're unable to accept new clients, your Groupon should be paused or removed so people aren't paying for services they can't receive. This situation wasted my time and left me having to chase down a refund myself. It felt very unprofessional, and I would not recommend purchasing any promotions from this business unless you first confirm they are actually accepting appointments.
