I recently drove to spend a week with my family and on the way, my Mercedes 2012 C250 nearly died numerous times. I'm an orthopedic surgeon who has a patient who is an awesome mechanic. He does all he work on my cars for many years. I have his cell phone. On my drive to Bandon, he helped me limp through my trip and fortuanately, I barely made it. We felt it was most likely the alternator. In comes Adam. I'm stranded, basically in Bandon, rural community with probably not many Mercedes mechanics. I have to get back to the Bay Area in a week. We (my family) do an internet search the next day SUNDAY no less and find Adam, highly rated, etc. I call Adam, on a Sunday. He answers the phone personally, I explain my situation and ask "can u do this", Adam says, "yup, sounds like the alternator and bring it in today, on a SUNDAY!!". We bring it to his shop where, by the way, he has a tractor out working on the road, waiting for us cuz his shop is in the woods and it was raining at the time, takes the car and says "I'll call you when I know what's wrong". Sure enough, it was the alternator. So, he fixes it, very very reasonable price (WAY less expensive than the dealer) and then offers to DRIVE the car from his shop to our house. I was so impressed. Finally, I had to take the car to my mechanic here at the Bay Area who is amazing too and he said Adam did an EXCELLENT job and that he could have not done it any better. Thank you Adam. For all y'all looking for an excellent, honest mechanic In Bandon or surrounding areas, that is SKILLED, consider Adam. I would not hesitate to take my Mercedes or any other car back to Adam in the future. Well done Adam

Knecht's is fairly basic, but it's nice to know they can order what they don't have and get it here in reasonable timing. Glad to have them in the area, and love the accessibility to stop in quickly on the way to somewhere else when we need to. It's right on Hwy. 101 - so it's a quick in and back out. Nice enough. I like the place just fine.

Neither of us had any car purchasing history whatsoever, and we knew this wasn't going to be an easy task (not to mention were both only 20). After being refused a loan for the 20 some thousand dollar 2005 Subaru STI, my friend was devastated to say the least. We had heard terrible things about going into a dealership to finance a vehicle because the APR rates were high.. but we though, why not try? Upon entering the dealership, after drooling a little at that beautiful Suby, we met the two people that were going to make this kid's wildest dream come true! We met Lori and Alan shortly after being on the lot and they welcomed us right in with the full intention of getting us into that car, today. It took time, a lot of it. This amazing man took the time out of his day to pull as many strings as he could to get us what we had hoped for. Lori had to jump through some hoops herself to get the bank to loan us first time buyers this large lump of money. I was expecting a nerve-racking time, I was expecting big corporate schemes and a money grabbing company just trying to pull at our wallets.. but boy was I ever wrong. I have never been more comfortable in any office or place of business in my life! Alan and Lori are something special, they truly and sincerely wanted us to get exactly what we wanted and they weren't going to take no for an answer. They didn't do it for the money, they didn't do it for any personal gain at all, and for that I am truly grateful. My 20 year old friend got to drive home his dream car for the first time today, and he couldn't have done it without this great business and their amazing staff. Yukon would not start. First time it went to Morin's, I had it towed. It recently had the timing…read morechain and starter replaced. It ran for a couple days and then would not start. At that point, I decided to just have it taken to a shop for further evaluation. I was thinking it was the fly wheel. That tow bill cost me $175.00 After a couple of days Morin's called me saying the timing was way off and it needed a new starter. This did not make any sense as the timing had just been checked and that was fine. The starter I had put on it was the correct starter for the Yukon and was purchased from Autozone. The starter needed is a gear driven starter. (more to come on this) I was told the Yukon had been fixed and the cost was 391.13. The cost included $210 for labor. Which was stated "verify starter isn't engaging the flexplate because it had the incorrect starter for vehicle" "found timing to be too far advanced causing starter to disengage." $166.13 was the charge for the starter Morin's put on it. As we drove the Yukon home it was not running good. The entire inside of the vehicle was covered in mold. When I got it home, I parked it for a couple days so we could get garage cleaned to move it in and clean all the mold. When I went to start it, it did the exact same thing as it did when I originally had it towed there. I called Morin's and told them they said they would come pick it up. I asked if it was covered under any time of warranty, especially since it was drove from their shop home and that was it. I was told she didn't know. After the Yukon had been there a couple of days, I was called and told the car couldn't be fixed. The reason given was the motor was not worth the cost of repair. After a couple days of trying to decide what to do, Morin's called me and asked me to bring them my title. Heck NO!!! Only because what they were saying made absolutely no sense. At this point I felt they were scamming me for my vehicle. After paying them another $211.50 they towed it back home. Once home, 2 friends who are mechanics came and looked at it. Within a matter of an hour, they found what the issue was. First, when Morin's had it for the first time. They switched number 3 & 5 spark plug wires. This being the reason it didn't run right on the way home. They put the wrong starter bolts on it with the wrong starter. They had the starter too shimmed. This is what it needed: the correct bolts and starter Cap and Rotor Spark plug wires to be put back in the correct place I would NEVER EVER EVER recommend this shop. They knew I didn't have much money and this was my only transportation. They purposely made the Yukon not run right. The correct starter was expensive, costing $260. When they switched my expensive correct starter with the incorrect cheaper one. They claimed to have gotten rid of mine. That was mine and I never said they could keep it. I can share picture of everything. I am planning to file a small claim. I am not rich and was completely taken advantage of by MORIN's The Yukon is running great no thanks to MORIN

I called the dealership I thought they had towed it to from pro towing and said they hadn't received my car. I needed to get my inhaler and found it was still at the impound lot at pro towing (the next business day after the accident). I go and get my inhaler, they call me the next day to tell me my car has been totaled and I can come clean out my car whenever. First off my insurance told me (I called them right after) they have no right to tell me whether it's been totaled or not that it would need to be determined by my insurance claim department. It hadn't even seen the dealership to do the evaluation so how is she about to call me and tell me my car is totaled?! Then when I firmly talked to her on the phone told me " don't come at me", all because I was concerned about my cars well being. Would not let them tow my car again. They kept my car for two days, even after I gave consent for my insurance to come and tow the car through my insurances company and then proceeded to tell me my car had been totaled.
