When my insurance got ahold of them they told them to come out. Allstate came out to transfer the truck they were no where to be found even though they gave them a time. Not one soul. The driver to pick up my truck waiting over 2 hours and left. Now as of Dec 10th they received the bill of over $3,000 of charges for the hold on my truck. MIND YOU, I need a vehicle. Mine was totaled. These guys take their SWEET time and try and suck you dry. I'm SURE Allstate will come after them for a stunt like this and since my door to the truck was unlocked, but no keys for the driver, I too, will be doing the same. Shame on this company. As if the world isn't expensive enough, and on top of that it's Christmas time, I need a vehicle. ABSOLUTE TRASH COMPANY

The 3 musketeers all geared up and headed down to Eugene to get to the Oregon Country Fair... we stopped at Les Schwab like I had been told to do each time to make sure the tire pressure was good and tires were good to adventure... the guy says the tires on the axel were good, but I should look at switching the spare out soon...he didnt know how far Id get on it if need be. So we go on our merry little way...and about 30 miles from Eugene... the Rv shakes and you feel the plunk of a flat tire... This was no ordinary flat tire... it burst and then ripped out the wheel well and made a huge hole in a space where we stored extra gloves and our electric space heater...I had placed our Jerry and Jerry bear on the lid of that... they were laying on the side of I-5 about a 1/4 mile back. So, here is where a couple of angels came... we use state farm roadside assistance... which has been a great investment BTW... the Jbs Roadside Assistance arrives in about 45 mins...and although he isnt supposed to do a trailer... changes the tire...he initially thinks it doesn't fit... but it does...he tells us to drive really slow with flashers... Coburn is just 10 miles... if it weren't for him, we'd be either on the side of the road still or towed and without RV for the festival. Angel #1 Noreen googles closest tire shop and we arrive at Pomp's Tire Service these guys not only didnt blink an eye at getting us 2 new tires, but worked really hard to get the shredded rubber from around the axel and shoring up the underneath. They had us back on the road within an hour...and put the other good tire on the spare mount so we still have a spare. Angels #2. If it hadnt been for these 3 guys, not only doing their job, they went above a beyond and sent us on our magical way.

The first time we broke down in Springfield, it was about 10 at night, and being new in town we relied on our insurance guy to find a 24 hour tow truck. We didn't get home till 4 in the morning because they had to call a guy from Salem. The next time, we found Steve. We were stuck at Springfield's Winco parking lot, again after hours. We were expecting another stressful evening, but Steve was there within a half hour, friendly as can be and made my very serious husband laugh. He knows how to handle that truck and get into difficult spaces. He's very knowledgeable about cars and has recommended great car businesses that we used to fix our car. He handled all our insurance paperwork. And he really is the cheapest tow truck service around. Update: So our Winco event was about 6 months ago, and today we were trading in our broken car for a new one at a dealership, and needed it towed out of our own pocket. He was here within an hour, actually earlier than he originally estimated, and was patient while we ran to the atm to grab him cash. Again he was friendly and professional and knows his business. His communication skills are top notched. He always answers his phone, and gives you honest intel. In an over-saturated area of tow truck businesses, this one really stands out. He's the one who we call every time, and recommend whenever we can. The other reviews that aren't yelp recommended are all 5 stars. I think Yelp doesn't recommend them because they only have 1 or 2 reviews. But I think that says something. That the people who don't usually do these things are making that extra effort to say how great Steve and his wife are.

Come to find out, after an hour on the phone, Good Sam doesn't cover that area, AAA doesn't cover RV's, and several towing services also don't cover that area or don't service RV's. So we decided to try to drive to the next town 23 miles away and hope we could find a garage in the morning. 10 miles or so down the road was a big truck stop, so we pulled off, and as we drive up to it see Economy Towing. We pulled into their lot, called the # on the sign for after hours help, and within 10 minutes, two people were there to take care of us. Not only were they friendly and efficient, they had the exact replacement tire in stock! They had us taken care of and on our way in less than an hour! Definitely call Economy if you need roadside assistance in this area of Oregon! They are the bomb!!!

He found out that there was something else going on and he was stunned that a different mechanic had allowed me to drive in the condition that it was in. He took separate time and did something simple to fix it therefore ensuring the safety of me and my kids. I can't say enough about how grateful I am that he made sure that my vehicle would be safe to drive. I know there's good people out there, and Peter is one of those people! 2 weeks ago I was driving home from my overnight shift. It was around 2am and I was going home…read moresick. My car began making a sound I had never heard before, the engine light came on and long story short, I wound up broke down on the side of the road. I called the first towing company that came up on my search and it was A1 towing. I explained my problem and they were there faster than I thought they'd be. The gentleman that came to assist was named Wes and he could not have been more professional or kind. Instead of just towing my car, he went through every probable cause to see if he could get it running. This is the first time I had ever seen a business put the customer over making a buck! When he couldn't find the problem he hooked up my car then actually drove me home! I lived out of his way and yet he never charged me for gas. He suggested a mechanic and towed my car there. His kindness and professionalism at 2 in the morning was something that will stay with me. I will recommend A1 towing to anyone that needs a towing service. Absolutely the best!
