Yukon would not start. First time it went to Morin's, I had it towed. It recently had the timing…read morechain and starter replaced. It ran for a couple days and then would not start. At that point, I decided to just have it taken to a shop for further evaluation. I was thinking it was the fly wheel. That tow bill cost me $175.00 After a couple of days Morin's called me saying the timing was way off and it needed a new starter. This did not make any sense as the timing had just been checked and that was fine. The starter I had put on it was the correct starter for the Yukon and was purchased from Autozone. The starter needed is a gear driven starter. (more to come on this) I was told the Yukon had been fixed and the cost was 391.13. The cost included $210 for labor. Which was stated "verify starter isn't engaging the flexplate because it had the incorrect starter for vehicle" "found timing to be too far advanced causing starter to disengage." $166.13 was the charge for the starter Morin's put on it. As we drove the Yukon home it was not running good. The entire inside of the vehicle was covered in mold. When I got it home, I parked it for a couple days so we could get garage cleaned to move it in and clean all the mold. When I went to start it, it did the exact same thing as it did when I originally had it towed there. I called Morin's and told them they said they would come pick it up. I asked if it was covered under any time of warranty, especially since it was drove from their shop home and that was it. I was told she didn't know. After the Yukon had been there a couple of days, I was called and told the car couldn't be fixed. The reason given was the motor was not worth the cost of repair. After a couple days of trying to decide what to do, Morin's called me and asked me to bring them my title. Heck NO!!! Only because what they were saying made absolutely no sense. At this point I felt they were scamming me for my vehicle. After paying them another $211.50 they towed it back home. Once home, 2 friends who are mechanics came and looked at it. Within a matter of an hour, they found what the issue was. First, when Morin's had it for the first time. They switched number 3 & 5 spark plug wires. This being the reason it didn't run right on the way home. They put the wrong starter bolts on it with the wrong starter. They had the starter too shimmed. This is what it needed: the correct bolts and starter Cap and Rotor Spark plug wires to be put back in the correct place I would NEVER EVER EVER recommend this shop. They knew I didn't have much money and this was my only transportation. They purposely made the Yukon not run right. The correct starter was expensive, costing $260. When they switched my expensive correct starter with the incorrect cheaper one. They claimed to have gotten rid of mine. That was mine and I never said they could keep it. I can share picture of everything. I am planning to file a small claim. I am not rich and was completely taken advantage of by MORIN's The Yukon is running great no thanks to MORIN

The quality of these people can improve highly. We got into a car accident Dec 4th ( a drunk driver…read morehit us) The tow company ignored Allstate insurance for the entire week. When my insurance got ahold of them they told them to come out. Allstate came out to transfer the truck they were no where to be found even though they gave them a time. Not one soul. The driver to pick up my truck waiting over 2 hours and left. Now as of Dec 10th they received the bill of over $3,000 of charges for the hold on my truck. MIND YOU, I need a vehicle. Mine was totaled. These guys take their SWEET time and try and suck you dry. I'm SURE Allstate will come after them for a stunt like this and since my door to the truck was unlocked, but no keys for the driver, I too, will be doing the same. Shame on this company. As if the world isn't expensive enough, and on top of that it's Christmas time, I need a vehicle. ABSOLUTE TRASH COMPANY

Today was an amazing example of someone changing our path…read more.. The 3 musketeers all geared up and headed down to Eugene to get to the Oregon Country Fair... we stopped at Les Schwab like I had been told to do each time to make sure the tire pressure was good and tires were good to adventure... the guy says the tires on the axel were good, but I should look at switching the spare out soon...he didnt know how far Id get on it if need be. So we go on our merry little way...and about 30 miles from Eugene... the Rv shakes and you feel the plunk of a flat tire... This was no ordinary flat tire... it burst and then ripped out the wheel well and made a huge hole in a space where we stored extra gloves and our electric space heater...I had placed our Jerry and Jerry bear on the lid of that... they were laying on the side of I-5 about a 1/4 mile back. So, here is where a couple of angels came... we use state farm roadside assistance... which has been a great investment BTW... the Jbs Roadside Assistance arrives in about 45 mins...and although he isnt supposed to do a trailer... changes the tire...he initially thinks it doesn't fit... but it does...he tells us to drive really slow with flashers... Coburn is just 10 miles... if it weren't for him, we'd be either on the side of the road still or towed and without RV for the festival. Angel #1 Noreen googles closest tire shop and we arrive at Pomp's Tire Service these guys not only didnt blink an eye at getting us 2 new tires, but worked really hard to get the shredded rubber from around the axel and shoring up the underneath. They had us back on the road within an hour...and put the other good tire on the spare mount so we still have a spare. Angels #2. If it hadnt been for these 3 guys, not only doing their job, they went above a beyond and sent us on our magical way.

I needed a tow truck to move a 20 foot Storage Container on my property…read more The driver showed up on time and completed the move with ease. Very knowledgeable on techniques to move large items. After the tow was completed, I spoke to the driver because, I wanted to let his boss know how awesome the service was. Curt informed me that he was the owner/operator. I called the dealership I thought they had towed it to from pro towing and said they hadn't received my car. I needed to get my inhaler and found it was still at the impound lot at pro towing (the next business day after the accident). I go and get my inhaler, they call me the next day to tell me my car has been totaled and I can come clean out my car whenever. First off my insurance told me (I called them right after) they have no right to tell me whether it's been totaled or not that it would need to be determined by my insurance claim department. It hadn't even seen the dealership to do the evaluation so how is she about to call me and tell me my car is totaled?! Then when I firmly talked to her on the phone told me " don't come at me", all because I was concerned about my cars well being. Would not let them tow my car again. They kept my car for two days, even after I gave consent for my insurance to come and tow the car through my insurances company and then proceeded to tell me my car had been totaled.
