Great! Justin was very accommodating and worked with us (so patiently) to bring us kayaks for a fun day on Christmas Bay! Wonderful!

Pinky's made it so easy to reserve, communicate when we had to make a schedule change, and help my guests feel at ease on the water! They handle the kayak transportation, life jackets, quick paddling instructions, and even provided dry bags and bottle of water! The two people who run this local business are friendly common sense people, who will work with you to make the trip a good one. The price is well worth the trip! This was my second or third time using Pinky's and they were just awesome.

Great communication too. We showed up at Bay Area Park at our designated time (we had decided on 2pm). The boats were waiting and ready on the dock along with paddles and life jackets. We were offered a dry bag, but we brought our own. We were also given two bottles of water for the trip and loaned a map of the Bayou. We accidentally brought home the map. I need to return that to them. Anyway.... With a very easy launch, we were on the water and paddling. The bayou was low that day but there were no issues. Did you know there are bald eagles out there? We saw alligators but they kept their distance and so did we. However, we did stop to watch when two alligators got in a fight! Tails were in the air, big splashes... It was crazy. I've never seen anything like it and we got a front row seat. Absolutely amazing, y'all! I loved seeing all of the different birds. The osprey were so cool. And there were fish jumping out of the water near our boats. Just a surreal experience. Y'all gotta try Pinky's. Prices are reasonable and they're just super nice people. The experience on the bayou was so incredible, we're already planning to get back out there as soon as the weather clears up.

The guy who answered the phone and took the details of the credit card, gave me a reservation number. We were supposed to get out at 10 am. on September 30 and be back by 12 pm. Before I left my house I called them a few times and then when I was on the road I called him a few times. I sent him a text to which they answered: Your outing today will be delayed due to unexpected situation. Please standby and we will let you know. After that there was silence. There was no office at the address listed on the site or the address where we were supposed to pick up our boat. I was made a fool. I have reported this incident to my credit card company for refund.

DO NOT TRUST THIS MAN…read more I rented a pontoon boat from him and I immediately had issues within the first 5 minutes. The engine stalled out on me, then once I got it going again it continued to happen seemingly every 5 minutes. On top of this, the radio did not work, the boat was overall very poorly kept, which resulted in us bringing the boat in an hour early due to a lack of fun being had by the entire group. Upon returning to the dock, I was very friendly and explained to the owner the issue, to which he immediately knew what was wrong (obviously it happens all the time and he has yet to fix it), and he promised me a $50 refund. Now, more than a week and a half later, he is screening my calls, sending me straight to voicemail, and has not returned any of my voicemails or texts nor has he refunded me this $50. Awful business, untrustworthy owner, waste of time and money dealing with them.

While the lagoon itself is nice, it didn't quite live up to what we had envisioned. It felt more like a very upscale neighborhood pool with some fun features -- which would've been fine had we gone in with that mindset. The atmosphere was more of a party vibe -- loud, crowded, and high-energy -- which wasn't what we were personally looking for. I had hoped for a more relaxing experience, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Considering the price, I didn't feel it was worth the cost. The cabana rentals were surprisingly expensive -- even more than what we've paid at actual beaches, like in Cozumel. The highway visible in the background also took away from the overall ambiance. In the end, it just wasn't the right fit for our family. For the price, I'd prefer a beach day or a quieter pool where we can truly unwind.

The crowd was mostly families, but you could go as an adult group or even solo. Glad they have a pretty large parking lot, so no stress on that. Came here for the first time on a bright Saturday AM at about 9:50a. Place opens at 10a. Come earlier than that, because others do too, and the line moved a little slow. They have a bag check you have to pass through first. Then you get back in line and go to the window, show your ticket, and/or buy your ticket. Then get your wristband. And then walk in. So you can only bring in what they allow, boooo, check their website for what they allow and dont allow before going. But I will say, the bag check was kind of light, IYKYK. Agree that the best move is to come early to snag a lounge chair with an umbrella. Umbrellas seem to be few and far between, but if you get there early, you should be able to get one. It doesn't seem worth it to rent the expensive cabanas, even with a group. We saw some groups doing it, not sure if they actually had paid the $300 fee, or were just squatting there until they got caught. I liked that they had a bar with some beer/cocktail options, so they place is adult friendly and kid friendly, lol. They have a food menu too, since you can't bring in food. I didn't order anything, but my friend really enjoyed her burger. They also had a few food trucks as well. That day, they were actually having a Pirates and Mermaids themed day. There was a Pirate folk band playing on their mini stage for a few hours. After that, they had a good playlist jamming on the loud speaker. The actual pool of the lagoon is divided in half. One half is for people to swim. The other half is for the water equipment rentals like the kaiyaks etc. We got to enjoy some stand-up paddleboading. That was fun. The water equipment rental is for 30 min at a time. Besides the wild rowdy kids surrounding us, we had a fun experience.
