    Clean spaces- the girls approve!!

3/2026 Arrival was super easy. Connections and level concrete pad were as stated. The owners are super friendly. We brought our 3 Aussies and the park is pet friendly. We still used the portable fence we brought. The maintenance was excellent, blown pads from sand and grass was mowed! They are opening a bar/grill soon on the property and we were invited to dinner 2 nights. They have a chef that knows how to cook a tomahawk steak!!! Huge shrimp too. Beer/wine Bar as well(coming soon). The walk over to beach or with golf cart is less than a minute. Absolutely a great weekend stay.

We have been coming here for years and meet our best friend here to come relax and be able to bring our dogs on leashes and walk them down the beach. The Breeze is always clean and helpful with any questions. They have a nice pathway straight onto the beach it's so close and convenient. We have a motorhome Class A Diesel pusher and it's easy to get in and out ours is 36'. I love to sit on the swings and they have a fire pit so if you don't have to bring one. This is a smaller place and worth every penny as you can just sit and relax outside next to your rig and they have a picnic table for every spot and relax or a short walk and bring your chairs to the beach .

We just spent two days at this park. Lisa and Derek were both extremely kind and helpful. It's a well-kept park right on the water with beach access. Water, sewer, and electric were all available on site and in perfect condition. We were welcomed with a fire burning in the fire pit and comfortable chairs to sit in and look out over the water. Highly recommend!

We stayed here for our anniversary weekend, and we could not have been happier! The rooms were recently renovated and everything was very clean and well decorated. You have a perfect view of the entire beach and the sunrise from the balcony They even have a fire pit with wood ready for late night s'mores or just relaxing. We will definitely be returning!

    Thanks Trent!!!! (Onsite Manager)

I will ALWAYS be loyal to The Breeze Hotel & RV Park! This is the best quickest overnight get away near Houston!! The rooms during off season are typically $99, $108 after tax! Trent (the on site manager) is the coolest guy EVER!!!! He always responds. Yes, (you know I'm a weirdo) but yes he always responds, even to the craziest, most random request I've sent, i.e. - request for a can opener (over sight on my part, there was already one in the room; sorry Trent). Oh and during one stay, one of the little ones locked the bathroom door, with no one on the other side! Trent was there in a jiffy! Management always sends you the room number and passcode via text prior to your arrival well, at least for the VIP - aka returning guest... with good historical rapport. The rooms are always super comfy and clean! The beach views are always beautiful- just check out the pics! Oh might I add, it's only a short walk from the room! Yes to the late night dip offs! Can be romantic if planned correctly! Treat this place nice by leaving it clean, sweep the floors, leaves your towels all in one place, wash and put away the dishes, and be sure to tip the management! He will honor your late checkout request!

Stayed 5 days at RV Park. Nice, quiet location. Trent is very hospitable. Wish they had restroom/showers.

Galveston Seawall Beaches - Gorgeous day at the beach in Galveston

    Galveston Seawall Beaches

    (102 reviews)

Since moving to Texas...specifically Galveston, the first thing people say is, coming from Florida?…read moreyou must miss the beach. Honestly? I don't, because I don't compare the two. If you come here expecting Florida's clear water, you might miss what makes Galveston special. The water can appear brown at times, but that's due to natural sediment shifting with the tides, not because it's dirty. Once you understand that your whole perspective changes. What I've come to love is the experience. Walking along the Seawall, day or night, there's always something happening. Different energy, different crowds, different moods depending on the season. It never feels the same twice. Galveston's seawall beaches isn't about perfection, it's about presence. And when you meet it that way, it's actually really beautiful.

It may not be on anyone's top list of beaches to visit, but it's still a beautiful beach. A beach…read morethat has many stories to tell. It all starts with José Antonio de Evia who surveyed the land in 1783 for the Spanish governor, Bernardo de Galvez. There are also pirates in this story. Jean Lafitte and his crew of buccaneers made this island their hideaway in 1817 after discovering this beach. There was even a fortress built here in 1897. You can still see some of the remnants jutting out from the seawall. It was rebuilt after the Storm of 1900 and named Fort Crockett after Davy. Make sure you look up towards the San Luis Resort to see the Battery Hoskins bunker that is still there. The point is that it's more than just a beach made famous by a devastating storm. Sure, there are many memorials and historical markers along the seawall. There are also many fun activities such as the 61st Street Fishing Pier and the Pleasure Pier as well as art that has beautified the seawall. There's a stretch of beach between 6th and 61st street called the Seawall Interpretive Trail. About 70 concrete benches were transformed into mosaic art by Artist Boat. These pieces highlight Galveston's beaches. We didn't get to see all of it. It's a lot of beach to cover during a short stay before a cruise. We were simply mesmerized by everything around us as we were walking along the seawall across from our hotel. There were pods of pelicans flying over and seagulls on the rocks and breakaways. The view along the seawall at sunset was stunning. It was a great time to see it. It even brought back childhood memories for my husband who was born here. We enjoyed our stay on the beach even though it was a short one.

While the lagoon itself is nice, it didn't quite live up to what we had envisioned. It felt more like a very upscale neighborhood pool with some fun features -- which would've been fine had we gone in with that mindset. The atmosphere was more of a party vibe -- loud, crowded, and high-energy -- which wasn't what we were personally looking for. I had hoped for a more relaxing experience, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Considering the price, I didn't feel it was worth the cost. The cabana rentals were surprisingly expensive -- even more than what we've paid at actual beaches, like in Cozumel. The highway visible in the background also took away from the overall ambiance. In the end, it just wasn't the right fit for our family. For the price, I'd prefer a beach day or a quieter pool where we can truly unwind.

The crowd was mostly families, but you could go as an adult group or even solo. Glad they have a pretty large parking lot, so no stress on that. Came here for the first time on a bright Saturday AM at about 9:50a. Place opens at 10a. Come earlier than that, because others do too, and the line moved a little slow. They have a bag check you have to pass through first. Then you get back in line and go to the window, show your ticket, and/or buy your ticket. Then get your wristband. And then walk in. So you can only bring in what they allow, boooo, check their website for what they allow and dont allow before going. But I will say, the bag check was kind of light, IYKYK. Agree that the best move is to come early to snag a lounge chair with an umbrella. Umbrellas seem to be few and far between, but if you get there early, you should be able to get one. It doesn't seem worth it to rent the expensive cabanas, even with a group. We saw some groups doing it, not sure if they actually had paid the $300 fee, or were just squatting there until they got caught. I liked that they had a bar with some beer/cocktail options, so they place is adult friendly and kid friendly, lol. They have a food menu too, since you can't bring in food. I didn't order anything, but my friend really enjoyed her burger. They also had a few food trucks as well. That day, they were actually having a Pirates and Mermaids themed day. There was a Pirate folk band playing on their mini stage for a few hours. After that, they had a good playlist jamming on the loud speaker. The actual pool of the lagoon is divided in half. One half is for people to swim. The other half is for the water equipment rentals like the kaiyaks etc. We got to enjoy some stand-up paddleboading. That was fun. The water equipment rental is for 30 min at a time. Besides the wild rowdy kids surrounding us, we had a fun experience.
