This place has such a quaint, cozy atmosphere with beautiful mood lighting that makes it feel warm and inviting. They offer unique drinks you don't see everywhere, which was a nice change from the usual bar menu. The live music was a great touch and really added to the overall vibe. It's the perfect spot to relax, enjoy a drink, and soak in a nice atmosphere. Definitely worth the spontaneous stop! Her candle shop is among those who have been in business in Payson the longest. 42 years now! She does her candle creating in the warmer months. This store has beautiful candles and so much more! They had all sorts of candles in different sizes and shapes. I was particularly interested in the strawberry one and the candle maker's signature and intricate design! My friend end up buying these cool incense sticks in a variety of scents and I'm excited to light one. All in all, this is why we must shop local! Makes you wonder why they even have a business at all? But also because the inventory here is mind boggling! For ALL things Americana; this is the place. It's only opened up on weekends, if at that. The elderly couple is a discernibly curmudgeonly old duo. Not many courtesies from them, including a smile, even if you warmly walk in WITH a smile. We were shocked at the owners attitudes and can't say this is a recommended spot to speak with the locals and learn about yesteryear with. When traveling and socialising with the local businesses, my wife and I enjoy the chance to meet and greet and learn from them. Not these two. They don't care to talk or socialize. Forget asking for discounts too, LOL. Not here... So, with the reference to the business, this place is a museum's dreamland. The artifacts, history, cast iron from the late 1800's, frontier era guns, hand crafted ceramics, and early Americana, is absolutely astounding on the eyes. I kid you not, most items here are in history books, and some are likely not! Though I've come back a time or two, know that there is zero local hospitality here. I was told when i bought them that if i had any problems they would stand by it. And sure enough they did nothing but keep coming up with excuses to why they won't replace it. Don't buy anything here. you won't get any help once you pay and leave this store. My good friend had bad an issue with furniture and a mattress from here as well.

I actually wanted a highlighter for my Bible (yes she had several), but also found some stationary and cards, as well as a beautiful wall plaque. She was so careful in wrapping it to make sure I got it home safely and intact (thank you). She also had a nice assortment of Christian books, Bibles, and gifts. I've given up on my husband NOT buying anything when we go, because we can't just look. He must buy. They have a lot of wonderful trees and Rob or Michael or one of the other people are willing to tell us the truth as to whether it will do good where we live. We greatly appreciate that.
