f We happened to drive by and noticed a lot of cars out front, so we decided to turn around and check it out -- and I'm so glad we did! This place has such a quaint, cozy atmosphere with beautiful mood lighting that makes it feel warm and inviting. They offer unique drinks you don't see everywhere, which was a nice change from the usual bar menu. The live music was a great touch and really added to the overall vibe. It's the perfect spot to relax, enjoy a drink, and soak in a nice atmosphere. Definitely worth the spontaneous stop! FYI, as for food it looks they like they only have charcuterie board and they stop serving it by seven Wish they served it a little later we got there at 8:15 as everybody loves a charcuterie board Sorry, I did not get pictures. This is one of my favorite places. It is the perfect place to have cocktails with a friend or friends. On Wednesdays they have a charcuterie board that is a little on the pricey side for what you get, but it is food to go with your beverages. Perhaps they could think about extending that to multiple times a week And expanding the menu. read more

Super unique venue that does not feel like Payson. It's a quaint speak easy of sorts with a great guitarist who played Van Morrison, James Taylor and some current stuff. Staff very accomodating and cocktails were spectacular. My daughter had gone there a different time and was able to make custom candles. It's a great concept that needs to be expanded. This is a fancy cocktail lounge on the main drag in Payson. It is I. a shopette. The walls are dark and atmosphere is just kinda sexy. There is a fireplace. You can sit at the bar, or tables but my favorite is the couch. The cocktails are so good and they change their specialty drinks every so often. On Wednesdays they have a Charcuterie Board. It looks really good. They also have live music but not sure what nights. Check this bar out when you want a fancy drink. Just know they have wine and beer if you're not fancy. I love the Cowboy and Bikers bars but this is a place to try. read more

This place was crazy cool and we found it by suprise. We were thrift shopping on this strip mall and saw cocktails and since it was 1:30pm we figured a quick drink was warranted. SO glad we did. This place should be advertised more. It's a neat speak easy vibe and they have fantastic drinks. I had the pumpkin spice latte martini and it was so good. Highly recommend if you like espresso martinis. Then we had a another that had spicy vodka and one with a coconut taste-sorry we forgot the names of these two. One had a blue dust that makes your tongue kind of tingle which is cool though. The only thing we didn't like was the smell was not great. With it being next to the candle shop there is a VERY strong waxy smell in the bar but otherwise the service, prices, and ambiance was fantastic. This is a quaint small town cocktail lounge (speak easy, if you will) that has some of the greatest specialty cocktails I have ever had in my life! The Muk Off is a delightful vodka drink with yummy spicy deliciousness! As much as I wanted to try a different one on the menu, this one stole my heart and tickled my tastebuds! If you don't love your drink, they absolutely insist on you picking something different and you don't have to eat the cost. Which is a good thing since they don't serve food so eating is not an option. IF you are hungry they do have a food truck located right outside their door and the pizza is amazing! The service with a SMILE at Muk's leaves you feeling giddy inside with, of course, the help of the tasty drinks! Their menu consists of red and white wines, lots of specialty cocktails with fun names, and they even make Muktails (nonalcoholic) for the driver in your group. The atmosphere is calming and relaxed. You can sit at a table, at the bar or on their comfy couches! There was a gentleman playing his guitar and singing too! This is not the place to go if you are looking to behave in a drunken manner though. This is a classy and elegant experience! I cannot wait to go back and try a different cocktail next time. Just the spot that Payson needs: a relaxed and welcoming cocktail bar. The staff here is incredibly friendly and makes you feel at home. I especially love their house rules. The cocktails are good - there was a seasonal holiday menu when I went as well - but I stuck with the traditional menu. I ordered a number of drinks over a few visits, and I would recommend the Ron Reed or the Smoked Old Fashioned. Some of their drinks were a little too sugary/syrupy for me - I prefer more spirit forward, but all in all they were enjoyable cocktails. Definitely will be back for future drinks! read more

They offer a variety of amazing cocktails and mocktails as well for our dds lol. I found the dragon berry mojito to be an absolute delight, by far my favorite cocktail on our whole trip! We have told over and over about Muks and thankfully we went there last Saturday night to our amazement and surprise. I had the pecan old fashion and another one with cream but can't remember the name. The music was great with Doyle Figueroa playing two guitars. Julie and I stopped in as part of our anniversary tour. The bar is located in the Swiss Village area. The exterior gives no hint of the interior. I like the fact they went with a sort of retro theme. The dark interior offers an intimate experience while the furniture and decor bring a nostalgic look to the place. Finally, a true cocktail lounge in Rim Country. The full bar has a nice array of signature cocktails, an adequate but small wine selection and a few beers on tap. Julie had a nice glass of Wente Chardonnay and I opted for a Smoked Old Fashioned. The drink was presented at our table and smoked with a cool top hat device. A nice presentation. I also appreciated the single clear ice chunk. Overall, a nice experience. Mucks could benefit with a more extensive wine and whiskey selection. But, overall, it was a nice experience and a welcome addition to the usual bar scene here in Payson. read more

This was our first time at Muk's. We had dinner reservations at a restaurant in town so we decided to stop at Muk's for a "one and done" before hand. Man, we wish we would have allowed time to stay for another cocktail. They were fabulous! The drink menu was extensive. We each had something different and they were all excellent. Pricing was very reasonable as well. The ambiance has almost a "speakeasy" feel to it. Lively, friendly and fun. We spoke to one of the owners and she gave us the history of the candle shop and where the name "Muk's" comes from. You'll have to stop for a visit to find out for yourself! They don't have food right yet but there was a "coming soon" section on the menu. I feel like if you brought some peanuts or snacks to munch on for now, that would be ok. Me and some girlfriends came in today and WOW!! The atmosphere is amazing, service is amazing, drinks are amazing and so delicious. It's such a good spot to just hang out and sip without being in a noisy rowdy bar environment! The menu is extremely creative and awe-some. We definitely enjoyed our time here.
