Hey, its a tough business. We are towing large vehicle's 70 miles an hour down the Highway. Things are going to break! So far we've been with Explore USA for 3 years now with our fifth wheel. WE bring it in regularly and they take care of what we need fixed. I wish they we closer to us but other than that we have been happy with the service and we are still enjoying our RV. problems continue - please avoid this dealership - please see email follow up - even to their CEO I HAVE POSTED SOME EMAILS I SENT TO EVERY EXECUTIVE I CAN FIND FOR THIS COMPANY - I KNOW THEY WON'T ALLOW THIS REVIEW BUT I WILL POST EVERYWHERE I CAN UNTIL I GET A RESOLUTION ... Mr. Ferrando, I wanted to correspond with you quickly on why you need to look at a different GM for the Kyle location. \ #1 - he responded to the email with a text stating that he'd like to have the opportunity for his dealership to service us .... Shows he has no idea what his customers are dealing with because HIS DEALERSHIP IS THE PROBLEM!!!!!! Then he said he would try to find a mobile dealer to help us .. THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE 3 WEEKS AGO - I WANT IT FIXED BY THURSDAY EVENING!!!!! Otherwise - I'd like you guys to reimburse us for $1500 in lost deposits. #2 - Here's a picture of the only work they did last time it was in with replacing a panel ... it's pretty obvious that it is bubbled and not put in correctly. Good afternoon all - particulary, Mr. Ferrrando, This time I have included Vanleigh customer support so that they can see the manner in which you guys support customers of their brand since we have a Vilano. I am extremely beyond disappointed and angry in the absolute disrespect for your customers that continues and we have an RV that we have been unable to use and now for this weekend we will lose yet another $300 deposit because we can't travel. I'm also disappointed in the lack of concern shown by Joseph at getting our issues resolved. Not only do we have none of our original requests addressed with the RV from day one (water heater, replaced wall panels, etc) we still have a non-operative black water tank with the Kyle location claims to have fixed. The master toilet will not work because the blackwater tank is full and DOES NOT DRAIN .... We have tested today by filling it up and being able to visibly see it doesn't work thus means the toilet doesn't work. We also asked they fix a panel that had fallen off. I'm absolute shocked at the half A$$ manner in which is what put back up and happy to send pictures. By copy of this email - I am asking the leadership of the company who actually owns ExploreUSA to direct us to a dealership that can actually help get these things corrected - preferably by Friday so we can take an actual trip. The only good thing about our experience was the salesman we had - who I understand left the dealership today. Below you will see what I am posting on every review I can find about your dealership and would expect that you get involved to remedy our situation - especially given the ratings that I have found about your business post-purchase. STAY AWAY FROM EXPLORE USA!!! #1 - We purchased a $140K RV from this dealership and when we stopped by to see it and measure some things for additional purchases - the unit they showed us WAS NOT what we had agreed on. They tried to make us seem stupid by telling us were confused but it was not even the same interior color. Because of the salesman (whom we really liked) we agreed to move forward (of course - they already had our cash) but they made concessions - most of which they had not followed up on. #2 - We were asked to come at a certain time for delivery of the unit (a 2 hour drive) and when we arrived - we waited over an hour only to find out that the RV was barely even started and would not be ready. In fact - some of their agreement could not be done for days or weeks and they would arrange for a local dealer to do it for us .... It's been weeks and that's not even been scheduled. One panel was completely bubbled and needed to be replaced but we haven't heard a word about that. #3 - On our first trip - walls fell out, plugs didn't work, black and gray water didn't drain, etc. We had quite a list of broken things on a brand new RV. We tried to avoid working with them and went directly to Vanleigh (who has been AWESOME) but ended up having to go back to the dealer. They were supposed to fix onsite because of our distance but had it over a week and when told to pick up - most things are stil not corrected but all we get is complete and total BS and attitude from the service manager and dealer manager. read more

Purchased this 5th wheel and of course they were more than ecstatic to take my money for the purchase. Exploreusa did the delivery and set up. From day 1 the hot water heater would not work while connected to electricity. It will function on propane...but I am not boondocking....what I paid for was a fully functional 5th wheel with competent set up. What I have is a 5th wheel with a faulty water heater and an awning that will not retract. I live and work in this unit full time and to return it to dealership for service is not acceptable or reasonable. After paying 65k for a unit I had hoped their service department would be responsive based on my living situation as well as having a fully functional unit. I wish I could give a zero star rating. We saw a preowned RV at this RV Center. Contacted the Salesman and he said it was in good shape and we talked about price. Made an appointment for 1 o'clock on Sunday to see it. When we arrived the salesman was busy with somebody else so another gentleman took care of us, his name was Andy. Our original salesman was Ryan. Ryan had texted me on Saturday saying that he would have it hooked up and air condition on and refrigerator so we could take a good look. When we arrived Ryan was busy and he took us to the trailer and no electricity was on. Andy was very knowledgeable and answered lots of our questions as my husband and I looked all over inside and out. As my husband was looking on the outside He saw on the back driver side corner there was some yellow paint marks as if it had been hit by something. He looked under the carriage and saw that the back tire look as if it was bent in and the Jack was almost ripped off from the frame. Andy said he had no idea that there was any damage and that they don't look over the travel travel trailers that are on consignment until someone purchase one of them. Seemed a bit odd to me. We really liked this trailer except for that one problem and expressed that to Andy. We said we would buy it if the axle really wasn't bent or that it could be repaired before we purchased. He's told us that he would call us first thing in the morning after his technician looked at it. By 2 o'clock on Monday nobody had called so I texted Ryan our original sales person. He apologized and said that it was under contract and waiting for financing. He said that someone came in after us and another sales person started the process of purchase. What? They sold the trailer with a bent axle? Seems a bit fishy and quite immoral in my opinion! Beware of these shady dealership read more

I will start by saying the sales staff was wonderful when we bought our brand new Big Horn Traveler back in November 2020. But once you leave the lot you have to deal with the service department. And there is where the problems begin. Ordered new vent covers for the top. Two orders later, still don't have the correct ones so we return them. Been waiting for a month to get our money back and every time I call I get told something different, so in other words they just lie to get you off the phone. Service placed to get a replacement sofa that broke the first day we used the RV. Took multiple calls and I ended up calling the manufacturer myself after again, numerous phone calls and a different answer each time. Registration of the unit with the manufacturer, 5 phone calls to finally get it completed. Point being, any call for any reason has resulted in 3+ return calls to resolve the issue and usually it takes 4 weeks+ to get that resolution. So, be warned that Michael and the service department are super sloooooooooow, and you'll never really know the truth behind why it's taking so long! read more

We think someone was sleeping in our RV while it was supposed to be worked on. It was a simple fix, 4 months later, they didn't fix and believe it someone was living in it, that's the reason they didn't fix. Had to replace fridge and other parts that were working before we sent it there. The manager hid when we picked it up, they never did fox it, after 4 months we decided to pick up and take it elsewhere. Missing bed pillow and sheet. read more

If we could give ZERO stars, we would! We purchased a 2018 Highland Ridge Silver Star toy hauler fifth wheel trailer two years ago, and have had nothing but problems. When you are looking at a trailer, keep in mind that they aren't going to fix anything under warranty UNTIL YOU BUY IT. We found several items on the walk-through that needed to be addressed, and we had to take the trailer back to them for a few weeks after we bought it to address those issues. However, their purchase "inspection" was useless, because we had multiple leaks in the propane lines the first night we tried to use it! We turned on the heater to go to bed, and the trailer actually filled with propane. We continued to have problems with the trailer for the first several months of ownership, to the point that the lady in the Service Dept at Explore USA told us that our trailer was a "piece of junk", and she wished they didn't sell them. The sales person had said it was one of the best trailers on the lot! We just hit our 2-year anniversary of owning this trailer, and it has been in the shop for 7 weeks for delaminating a SECOND TIME. Highland Ridge says that's a "maintenance issue", even though the service department at Crestview (had to go somewhere else to get warranty service, because Explore USA was so awful) says that the water damage appears to be because the top rails were not sealed properly at original installation. From electrical issues because they didn't properly seal the GFCI outlet to cabinet trim falling off and several issues with the exterior coating and rust, this purchase has been a nightmare! We went with Highland Ridge because they were a division of Jayco, and our last Jayco trailer lasted 15 years. Highland Ridge makes a terrible product, and doesn't stand behind it, and Explore USA wasn't even able to deal with the warranty issues. At this point, we wish that we had not spent our money with this dealership, or this manufacturer. read more

Andy was great during the buying process but delivery was terrible as it wasn't ready for pickup when expected and had to come back. There were items missing at pickup that were noted and would be provided during the 60 day full coverage checkup. RV was taken in and checked by Mark on September 8th for 60 day checkup (missing items from July had never been ordered) today is November 4th (on lot uncovered for 2 months while I pay$300/month for covered parking elsewhere) and only feed back is when I call every week. I gave them the 3wks originally quoted before calling but never heard back as I originally needed RV for travel beginning of October. Parts were FINALLY ordered in October after I got through to a manager as service staff kept giving the run around and promising a call back but STILL no estimated date for RV to be ready. So frustrating!!!! Seriously all parts needed were known and promised upon delivery at purchase on July 3rd. read more

If I could give this a negative score I would. We took our camper in and Donald was the service tech assigned to us. After no communication we had to call the manager. We were assured more communication and still received none. I personally found 3 of the 4 parts needed by doing a 30 second google search after Donald told us he could not find them. After buying the parts and bringing them to him, it STILL took a over a month to install the parts. We literally did his job for him and still received little to no communication and a huge delay in service for a simple fix. When we picked the camper up our jack stand was missing and he told us there was no jack stand when we brought it in. DO NOT EVER BRING YOUR CAMPER HERE! read more

Recently I went to pick up my RV. You receive a walk through before you go. During this walk through, I was convinced that it wasn't the one I picked out. my husband had to remind me of all the shopping we had done, RV s we had seen, that this was indeed the one we had picked out. Anyway..I was mortified by my behavior. What was interesting on hindsight was the behavior of the staff. Of the four people who responded..only one behaved concerned and patient with me, this was Miguel. This young man was the inspector who did our walkthrough and dealt with my tears and disappointment. He had many other things to do..it was busy that day, still he made the calls and ultimately made everything as right as he could. I write this because I have been the receiving end of cus dissatisfaction. It's horribly uncomfortable. I'm a nurse. Other nurses will get this. Only once did a family call to rescind their complaint. I remember feeling grateful for this. So, I want to apologize. Miguel would make a great salesperson. He has , not only the knowledge, but a high standard of integrity and compassion. Thank you Miguel. read more

We signed a contract with a bank. We did the final walk through and they handed us the keys. Then they said that we needed to sign a different contract with a higher apr. So I returned the keys and will be calling the bank on Monday. I also called my bank to dispute the charges for our down-payment. This place is sketchy. When I talked to the general manager, Jason, he denied fraud. This is actually called a yoyo scam. I will be calling corporate and filing a complaint and probably talking to the manufacturer of the rv to make sure they know who they are doing business with. They also tried gaslighting me. Like they aren't being fraudulent. If I signed the contract and have an apr, A lienholder, and the keys in hand. You cannot renegotiate a contract. thats not how it works. My trailer needed a state inspection. I called and the service writer was super friendly and accommodating. They were able to fit me in immediately. This was my first time visiting an rv dealer and it is a busy place but every one working was helpful and friendly. When I seemed unsure of where to park my rig a passing employee noticed and came right over to direct me. When I am ready to purchase a new rv this will be my first stop! regretfully, in july 2010 we bought a 3300KC sundance heartland rv!!! every other time we use it something else breaks!! we have spent hundreds of dollars on repairs (ac, heater jacks, mold in the walls from a hole left in the floor, major electrical problems)!!!!! i will never recommend anyone buy from this company or buy tihs manufacturer!!! the sales manager lead us to believe that he would try to get us into a different rv for an even trade, but when it came down to final #'s they wanted us to finance $10,000 more!!!! this rv is a death trap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more
