Yoga is something very new to me and but I finnally I found my strength to step out of my comfort zone and gave it a try. My goal was to find the flexibilities both physically and mentally. And Tracy did a great job at teaching Yoga and helped me achieve my goals. She radiates a great positive energy that you can feel right away when you are around her. Shes always try to encourage me to push myself to the next level. I also really enjoy to have conversation with Tracy about a healthy lifestyle and spirituality. She was a great addition to my life and I definitely found the flexibilities that I wanted after 11 weeks. I would recommend Tracy to anyone who is interested in Yoga

Infinitely grateful to my yoga teacher Tracy from Explore Yoga. One private yoga session at Explore Yoga is equivalent to countless hours of group classes at Bikram, Purple and Corepower studios combined. Where once I felt that I had burnt out and plateaued with my yoga practice at various hot yoga studios, I now find myself making breakthroughs, breaking out of patterns, recognizing bad habits, becoming stronger, finding excitement in postures that I thought were once impossible with the guidance of my Explore Yoga teacher, Tracy. Her care and attention to detail has ignited my love for yoga. Like a poet, there are stories that unfold with every flow and metaphors that present itself in the expression of each posture. Tracy is patient, insightful and has a natural knowledge of the human body that makes it easy to learn/relearn postures the correct way. She is clear and concise. Her confidence is contagious. She has opened my mind in such a way where I am now always eager to explore my edge and take my yoga practice outside the monotonous classroom setting and out into the wild. At our tech company, we have hired Explore Yoga for team building retreats where even absolute beginners have expressed candidly that the yoga sessions have been one of the highlights that everyone looks forward to. A good flow to start the day keeps our team spirit strong. After every yoga session, our team is more in tuned with each other surfing effortlessly on creative waves. If you want to give your team that extra edge, this is a great place to start. Whether you are an avid yogi looking to advance your practice or a beginner looking for the right teacher to give you the right foundation for a strong practice, I highly recommend Explore Yoga.

At our company, we were celebrating Valentine's day by practicing Self-LOVE. "If you don't love yourself, nobody else is going to love you." So it was a suiting way to end our love week by having Tracy teach us Yoga and how to love and care for our bodies, minds and souls. Our group ranged from never before have done yoga, or haven't done it in years, to some who go religiously weekly. She guided all of us through a beautiful and peaceful journey that made everyone feel more energized, motivated and relaxed at the end. An added bonus was that we did it outdoors where we gazed at the sky and listened to the waterfall running in the background. The best part of it all was the mini head and shoulder massage I received at the end of my practiced. It made me feel so rewarded to challenge my body like that and to just let it all go on the mat and to breathe and be present. Till this day we still talk about how AmAzing the class was and how we need to do it again soon soon!! Also after Tracy's class, 3 people signed up to a local yoga studio to continue their practice because that class with Tracy was pretty much life-changing!

Tracy is an amazing mentor and she showed me that yoga is more than a form of exercise, it is a way of life.

I'm not really one to write reviews, but I thought I would share my experiences at Purple Yoga (all…read morelocations) for anybody considering starting yoga, finding a new studio, or finding the right studio. Long story short: I started yoga at the end of April this year on a whim (saw one of my friends post a story on Instagram doing hot yoga) and tried out different studios in the area and landed on Purple at the beginning of mid-May, and have now taken 34 classes since then. I have a roster of favorite teachers that I highly recommend. Alex: adds fun, light banter to each class, making yoga approachable, comes to each student (when he can) to show corrections and is proactive with the class. Mike: a new teacher at Purple, an excellent teacher who does the flow with his students, repeating each step with us until we get the final flow, it's easy to see progress with his class. Jamol: energetic, nice flow with his class, makes adjustment if requested, and I always come feeling like I've learned something. Joe: the owner of the studio, of course I had to try his class. Excellent teaching skills, making adjustments, show the right postures and poses, tough class but I definitely feel improvement after I take them. Joe, if you're reading this, please I implore you to increase the number of your classes during the week (Saturday, Sunday, Friday would be nice lol) so I can take at least one (won't be able to in the future as I'll have to head to the office the days you teach in a few months). Teachers I want to try (more of) but haven't had much of a chance yet: Danny (I've only taken him once but he was excellent), Chloe, Alley, Sahara, Phoung, Danielle, and Emily. I'm sure all the teachers are wonderful though! Facilities: clean, comfortable, spacious, and parking is aplenty. Staff: Very welcoming, unpretentious, and friendly. I had a poor experience with another studio about the staff and felt very unwelcome, which sets a bad tone for the visit, so Purple has been a nice change from that. Scheduling: Their schedule is great, early morning classes before work, and classes throughout the day on Saturday and Sundays. The scheduling app is convenient and quick. (One point of feedback: I wish the app had a Google Calendar option so I can send it to myself on Google instead of just Apple.) If there's any feedback I could give, I would love it if the classes have some sort of cirriculum that state which poses/flow we're going to do so we as students can get a better comprehensive idea of what we're doing in each class. There's so many asanas out there, I would love to know what I've been covering so far. At the moment, I bought some yoga textbooks to go mark down what I've done personally but I don't necessarily know what flows we've been doing. Overall: I recommend Purple if you're looking a clean, comfortable, place to start or practice your yoga journey!

Purple Yoga blends yoga and recovery in a way that feels effortlessly elevated. First Impression: Purple Yoga is tucked away in a cute, lil' strip mall with a pathway leading to the entrance. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by Hope, who guided us through sign-in, photos, and a full tour of the facility (super friendly first impression). The Space: Spacious front foyer with visibility into the yoga room; a hallway featuring a compression therapy room, private yoga room, full-body red-light therapy room; a cold plunge and sauna area; a water station; and bathrooms. The Class (All-Level Flow, 100 degrees): Alex Roberts opened class with breath awareness and gentle head, neck, and shoulder mobility in silence, creating a calm, grounded tone right away. His cueing was clear, alignment-focused, and very intentional. Once movement began, the music stayed in the background, so the emphasis remained on breath, alignment, and slow/deliberate transitions. The class concluded with deeply soothing floor stretches, including supta baddha konasana combined with a gentle self-massage at the base of the skull, releasing neck tension (beautiful nervous system reset). Savasana was spacious and unhurried, with encouragement to remain resting as long as needed, emphasizing relaxation as a meaningful part of practice. Recovery & Wellness Amenities: After class, my sister and I engaged in several wellness offerings: Sauna session: Private, peaceful, and timed with a sand hourglass (so cute). Compression therapy: You can choose compression gear for your legs, hips, or arms, and there's enough space for two people to relax and enjoy it together. Red-light therapy: It's a full-body standing system, just grab the protective eyewear, turn on the fan, and step in so the red light does its thing. From what I read, it's believed to support cellular energy production, tissue repair, skin vitality, reduced inflammation, muscle and joint comfort, and overall recovery (Bring It!). Practical Notes: Easy online booking for yoga and wellness sessions, free parking directly outside, advanced purified water station (yaaaaaaas!), spacious showers and lockers (making it easy to transition from session to session) & an abundance of complimentary personal-care items. The Vibe: Modern, calm, & quietly luxurious. Purple Yoga feels like a boutique yoga studio meets a recovery spa. Incredibly fun to explore solo or go with a friend and reset together! Curiouser & Curiouser: On a personal note, someone who LOVES a fast-paced flow, breath focus was necessary for me to get into this class. My sister, who loves Bikram (standing poses), loved this slow flow and tapped in quickly.

I've taken several Hot Sculpt classes with Liza C. and I honestly always look forward to her…read moresessions. Her class is definitely challenging, but in the best way possible. The movements may look simple, but you really feel every muscle working and it gives such a great full-body workout. I also love that the class is welcoming for all levels, even beginners. Liza does a great job guiding everyone through the workout while still keeping the energy high and motivating. The heated room adds an extra challenge, but somehow you leave feeling refreshed, stronger, and accomplished afterward. Her classes always have a good balance of warm-up, strengthening exercises, and stretching at the end, so you walk out feeling like you truly worked your whole body. If you want a low-impact workout that still makes you sweat and feel amazing after, I highly recommend taking her class. I also really enjoy classes with Frank S. and LaVerne -- all of them bring great energy and make the workouts enjoyable while still pushing you to do your best.
