Also, there is not currently a nurse?? My younger brother is in seventh grade and nearly everyone isn't doing that well academically. Also, I've noticed some of the staff seemed to not care that much due to how much students they have. When I was here, only one staff member actually checked up on me and my friend (nope not the counselor) I remember I was doing very bad in math and not the best grade in ELA, both of the teachers were late to the student conference (and left early) that I had scheduled a week before, rude much. Also, they have a very interesting mindset, especially counselors, they would constantly guilt trip and gaslight me and my parents into constantly putting me in honors (which was definitely not a good idea) just add one more thing. This school is HUGE along with Chaperel, which it feeds into. So I don't entirely blame the teachers for being overwhelmed. But yet again, this is the job they signed up for, and they must have proper work etiquette. There is also a problem in eighth grade with pressuring into vaping and teen s*x which is not managed as much as it should. A lot of the kids there are a very bad influence. (and I'm not trying to be a saint, it's genuinely bad.) they should also be a bit stricter on the dress code, I mean, you can wear practically anything, and a lot of people bullied because they don't have a certain (expensive) clothing item. I know this is long, but it's very important and I could add a lot more. My family certainly got fed up with it and we switched in the eighth grade. I went to Rancho thinking I would get one of the best educations ever, many reviews (i'm assuming are either payed reviews or the extremely rich parents who's kids lied to them about enjoying it) seemed amazing. However, when I arrived I found all the kids my age to be the most stuck up, snobby, rich kids I had ever met. So extremely out of touch, dimwitted, racist, and tone deaf. I was sitting in study hall when I overheard a group of people gossiping about a senior the previous year who cheated on some very hard/important finals and got caught. The parents allegedly paid the principal an additional 25k (which is the same amount as tuition) to stay quiet about it and let him pass. However, that could easily be untrue and just a rumor (wouldn't be surprised with the amount of liars enrolled). I was in Integrated 2 math class. The absolute worst math teacher EVER had. I was more of a quiet kid, I wanted to keep to myself and not talk to any of the out of touch students there. She would often call me out during break asking why I wasn't with my friends, knowing I had pretty much none (by choice). She was more focused on being a "tough"/"strict"/"intimidating" teacher than a good teacher. I learnt more about her unnecessary classroom rules than about what I needed to pass the class. On the midterm final, I spent 2 weeks studying everything we had learnt throughout the year. We weren't made aware until the week of that we weren't allowed calculators on the test, although we had practiced with calculators the whole year. The final felt like a whole new class, for a moment I thought I was at the wrong final exam when I saw what was on it. The housekeeping of this school is very poorly looked after. It's disgusting, specifically the bathrooms. I can only speak for the girls bathroom, there was always toilets that hadn't been bothered to be flushed. The janitors do not do a good job to clean it up, there would be the same unflushed mess in the same toilets for a week straight. More importantly maybe the adults should teach these kids how to flush a toilet as their maids have been doing it all their lives. I will be calling out another teacher who I thankfully did not have but I did witness doing some strange things to a sophomore girl. We were doing presentations in class and this teacher came in to watch a group of girls who obviously he gets along with and has for a class. I always think it's a little strange whenever teachers and students have oddly close or even flirty relationships with one another. I didn't think too much of it until out of nowhere one of the girls screams bursting out of laughter. This 35+ man was tickling a 15 year old girls waist. Absolutely disgusting and predatory behavior. I won't be saying names but all I know is that he teaches science classes. They always emphasized how strict their rules were about dress code. About how skirts should be 4 inches from the middle of the knee, most girls were walking around with their underwear visible and nobody batted an eye. I also heard positive feedback even from people who had friends whose children attended here. So we chose Cheyenne because of its great reputation for curriculum, teacher-led learning & traditional model and we were thrilled to get in! My daughter's experience at Cheyenne has been wonderful. Her teacher is excellent! My daughter's handwriting is perfect and she's reading and writing complete sentences. She's understanding phonograms and is excited to go to school every day. The school is organized well. The teachers are kind & warm. It is easy to get prompt replies from staff when communicating. I LOVE the uniforms. No concern about who's wear what brand etc. We have met some wonderful parents and have really like that parents are involved in their children's education at Cheyenne. We are big fans of Cheyenne and are thrilled that our daughter can go through middle school as well! Go Roadrunner's!

From the moment we joined the school community, we could see why so many families speak so highly of it. The staff is truly wonderful and many of them have been there for years, which says a lot about the environment and leadership. Everyone we've interacted with has been personable, responsive, and genuinely happy to be there. The PTO also goes above and beyond to bring joy and support to both the students and the teachers, which creates such a positive atmosphere on campus. There are so many incredible people at the school. Molly has been wonderful, and my daughter absolutely adores her kindergarten teacher, Miss Hayes. Miss Quandt, the art teacher, is also so inspiring, my daughter comes home excited to talk about what she's learning in art. And the Principal Miss Baca is truly exceptional. She's a fantastic communicator, wonderful with both parents and kids, and you can tell she deeply cares about the students and the community. We feel very lucky to have her leading the school. I also appreciate that the kids wear uniforms and are taught to treat each other with dignity and respect. The structure at the school helps children understand expectations and take pride in doing their best. The red and yellow light discipline system gives clear guidance about behavior, and it's evident that the students understand it and respond positively to that structure. Overall, we have been incredibly happy with our experience. It's a supportive, structured, and caring environment where kids can truly thrive. We are so excited for both of our children to be part of this wonderful school community in the years ahead.

I hate to make a negative review of any Christian institution, but some things need to be said. We…read morehad to pull our amazing 4.0 daughter after just 2 months at this school for her emotional, spiritual and academic wellbeing. 1) the owners of the school (yes it's privately owned and the "board" is a couple of hand picked friends) have zero experience with education or school leadership. They have an extreme view of punishment (and use that word rather than discipline for a reason) and punish in public~ in front of teachers and students. They believe they are doing it in a "godly and compassionate" way and if the child is humiliated and harmed it is because the child must have problems. 2) the school is not accredited by the state of Arizona or any other accrediting body that is recognized by the state. If your child goes here for any amount of time and then switches to a private or public school, that school will not recognize any of the courses taken at Tipping Point. Once they get you at the school, they know it is hard for you to leave because your child will have to test into their grade at another school. If your child is in high school, they will lose all of their credits or they will have to audit their classes, assuming they are early enough in the semester to do that. Otherwise, they would lose that semester and any coursework done at that school. For most students, this would literally mean retaking all of their high school classes or being forced to get a GED instead of a high school diploma. I have spoken to the head of education at SUSD and this is solid information. I believe our family and daughter were treated extremely badly because they assumed we could not go anywhere else since we were two months into the semester. 3) if you send your child to the school, you are giving two people who have zero experience in running a school total control over your child. If you disagree with them on discipline/ emotional abuse/ educational issues, they will tell you~ as they told us, that your child is not allowed to return the school until you agree with them, in writing, that they can punish and treat your child any way they feel is best, without notifying you. That in and of itself is abusive, especially to a 4.0 student with a perfect behavior record. My Godly daughter left this school using the word "hypocrites", which was not the spiritual experience we were hoping for, yet it truly led to her understanding the true Christian faith in a whole new way. She also experienced that if your parent doesn't work at the school that you will be excluded and treated as less than by others. Overall just a horrible experience that God used for her best. They both started in the Panda program with Mrs. Wynne and absolutely thrived--we quickly fell in love with the school. The specials teachers are all wonderful and truly add to the positive environment. Now our son is in Mrs. Bethke's kindergarten class, and we honestly wish he could stay there forever! She has made such a meaningful impact on his learning and has helped us feel so confident and encouraged about his progress. Laguna Elementary consistently hosts great events throughout the year, and the principal is incredibly kind and welcoming. We feel very lucky to be part of such an amazing school community and highly recommend it!
