Excellent customer service, my vehicle has been repaired and it's driving better than ever. I received outstanding service in every way possible and I'd say impossible too. Man... everything happens for a reason. My wife & I found our way to Jack Williams tire & auto service center after having a bad experience at a different auto repair facility. Let me tell you, it is very refreshing to come to an establishment that provides a high-level of professionalism, customer service, and great fund of knowledge about their craft. The mechanic was able to assess the issues with our car, explain what needs to be repaired, and completed the entire job in a timely manner. My wife and I feel as though we were in great hands throughout the entire process, and we look forward to coming back to Jack Williams service center in the near future. read more

Terrible. Feel like I got ripped off. Went in to get my tire plugged and was told they can't plug it because it was too close to the sidewall. Which i understand. Then they said my toes were not the best which also fine. I'll get 4 tires. Then was told an hour later I need brakes and rotors. And then my shocks needed replaced. Which i was skeptical but whatever. All said and done $2k later the bill also had windshield wipers. I replaced them myself 1 month ago. They told me they wouldn't pass when i called back to question it. Flat out lie. Now made me question the whole bill. Well never go to a jack williams/mavis ever again. Jack Williams service staff were always are nice, friendly and fast when I got regular service done with them. Now that they are owned by Mavis, the business took a down turn. Unfortunately, I couldn't take my cars to my usual mechanic so I had to use JW. I had two services done; one car that the suspension and control arm was installed incorrect and another car the brake pad/rotor was installed incorrect. Both issues should have never happened and could have well caused a severe accident on the road. Luckily I was able to bring the cars right back to them to fix. They would not give a refund for any time lost, stating they covered the cost to fix the issue replacing the parts again. If I wanted a refund they will put the original parts back on my car...The parts that they broke? I was out of a car for several days for each issue and never felt like the company was taking care of me or my car with good intentions and professionalism. Again Jack Williams used to be good but not anymore, in my view I just will not be going back to them if they are providing unskilled and unprofessional work. read more

10/10 do NOT recommend this place to anybody looking to get vehicle repairs in the area. Took my car here Jan 17 , they called me the next day saying the car was ready. I asked the front desk lady if I can pick up later that weekend, she said it was fine. Her supervisor decides to call me non stop 4 days later to pick up the car because it was at the lot for a week or else it would get towed. The car was there for 5 days, I go in person the next day to ask the front desk lady if I can please have more time because I didn't have all the cash yet to pay for repairs. She said it was fine and they have had cars there for more than two weeks before so it should be fine. Plus they added another $120 to the charges without telling me why. It's Jan 28 now and the supervisor is called again that to tell me they have a 10 day policy now and the car would get towed tonight if I don't pick up. I was not told about this policy when I asked if I can leave the car there nor was it mentioned when he called the first time and said it would be towed after being there 6 days. I go in to pick up the car but now the guy says I have valve gasket & oil pan problem!!! Why did they wait 10 days later to tell me this? It was estimated 900 dollars to fix on top of the initial repairs they already did. No way was I going to pick up a car that I would have to bring back anyways if that was such a serious problem. Now the car is towed and I can't pick it up because the guy didn't want to work with me. Stay away from this place! read more

Just wanted to share my experience. Unfortunately had a tire blow out this past Saturday night. Called them Sunday around noon and they told me to bring it in and were able to work it in. Went over to the car and put the spare tire on it real quick and drove it to the shop. Was greeted right away and the service advisor was able to get the tire and the alignment done before they closed for the day. Was super grateful they were able to get the car done in a timely fashioned so my girl was able to get to work the next day. Very reasonably priced as well for the work that was performed. Took my car there to replace an axis but had transmission fluid all over my garage floor after going home. Took the car back and they said the seal needs to be replaced and I have to pay for the labor to take the whole thing apart and put in a $20 seal they didn't bother to replace in the first job when they had the thing apart. Do not recommend for mechanical work. read more

Scheduled inspection friday 11/15 for an apt mon 11/18 on website. dropped vehicle off Sunday 11/17 and was informed they do not perform inspections Sunday or Monday and have communicated this to their web site without success. they called me while I was on the way to drop the car off Sunday night (call was missed due to driving at the time). I have had an issue in the past (a vehicle issue they did not want to look at and advised I take it to the dealership). Before changing to mavis this used to be a good garage but I can't trust a place that (apparently) cannot control what information is available on their own web site, cannot handle issues timely and cannot perform some services common to their profession. I really wish this was still Jack Williams, have to find a new garage now for me and my girlfriend (who has an inspection scheduled today (Sunday) and was never called regarding them not performing inspections on Sundays. read more

They keep you informed and up to date with any potential issues. Came for replacement inspection stickers after my windshield was replaced. They were fast about it.

I do not recommend. Extremely unprofessional and unwilling to fix their mistake...After forgetting to tighten the lug nuts on my sons left front wheel causing a tow and service check of $180, they proceeded to tell me that it was our responsibility to bring the car back after 25 miles to retighten the lugs. They also told my son that someone may have came to our house an loosened the lug nuts while it was parked. The store manager claimed he didn't have a direct line to the regional store manager. He provided me with a phone number and extension that was not operational. I'm no mechanic but in 34 years of driving I have never had 5 lug nuts on one wheel come loose. We have tried to be reasonable but no one in that store will willing to accept responsibility for a simple mistake. All we were asking was to be reimbursed for the service call. Instead we are taking our business to a reputable garage in the future. read more

Brought in my car because coolant was leaking. Jack Williams kept the car all day, didn't return phone calls, made a bunch of excuses and then charged me $30 just to tell me that coolant was leaking... which I already knew. I called customer service looking for a refund, though I'd hesitate to call it service as the women who managed customer service used the entirety of the call to tell me why I was wrong and that the only solution was for them to credit the $30 I was robbed of to future service... and after all that, they let me drive my car off their lot with a completely empty coolant tank. They charged me and couldn't even put a bandaid on the problem so I could safely leave. Overall the worst experience I've ever had with a mechanic/auto repair company. They don't care about customers or service, they care about themselves and the depths of their own pockets. Again I stress, the assholes let me leave with a completely empty coolant tank and didn't mention it. Now here's the part where they respond and tell you all why this was my fault. Don't end up like me lest you want your keys held hostage for $30, try meieneke or CJ tire. I'm quite literally set back even further than I was when I went in to jack williams. read more

They know what they're doing, but really expensive. Had to take my vehicle there twice within 2 months.

I hit a pothole in the area and ended up at this business to check on the repair of my tire that was nearly flat . Their company "policies" require outrageous upsell's. My tire couldn't be repaired and needed to be replaced and they wanted to replace all four if the treadwear on the front tires was more than 20% per policy. Since this incident I found out that all chain type tire stores upsell because they are required to meet certain quotas each day whether or not your car needs that particular repair. read more

Terrible service terrible treatment of customer. Wants to charge me 550 for inspection, mounting of 4 tires, 2 missing yellow lights for headlights, disposal of tires, and balance. Initially told me it would be done today and to drop it off at 12pm. I dropped it off and then they called me saying it would be ready at 5 ish then I called because it was passed that time and now they tell me 6pm and that the car needs two bulbs in the headlights but that they can't get to it without taking the bumper off (which takes 20 minutes i've done it myself) and that it would take them 2 hrs and they would charge me 200$ extra for labor. Told me that if I would like it done quicker to take it and do it myself then go back for the sticker. Mike Felps told me word for word "do it yourself and bring it back." Main worker who's on the phone and lies about time it would be done and overall the place charges 100$ per hour of labor for something that takes 20 minutes. But a professional needs 2 hours? Most unprofessional place I've gone to in my 10 years of driving. Awful treatment along with awful service. read more

I gave this one star because I can't go lower. Fraudulent and deceptive, they will report problems that don't really exist. They performed unauthorized work, some needed because of mistakes from their own tech. Never approved the extra cost with me. Finally I paid so I could get the car back, but I took it back soon for noises because they made mistakes in putting it back together. Some brake work they told me I needed... took it to another garage,and they said it was ok, at least for another year. avoid this business!! read more

I was camping in the area and my one tire went flat over night. This business was suggested to me and I called to see if they where open. The gentleman who answered was very helpful and suggested that I bring the car to the shop in about 2 hours because of back up work. I did what he suggested and I only waited one hour to repair the tire. The reason I am writing is that they were very honest and up front about the repair. They knew that I was not from the area and could have taken full advantage of me. They did not! The service that I received was professional, trustworthy, and Quick. I highly recommend this business if you live in the area or are stuck like I was this Saturday morning. Special thanks to the Employee from St Louis! Very courteous and accommodating.
