I had really terrible, grown-out highlights from a different hair salon and wanted to somehow fix them. The owner of Trendsetters (Nancy, I think) worked her magic. I now have a gorgeous dark red which turned out better than I had expected or hoped for. She gave my hair a trim and really gave it a wonderful shape. All my sister had to do was show up. She said her stylist Marcy, was really cool and helped her decide on a hairstyle that would work for her lifestyle as a busy mom with three kids. She didn't feel pressured to buy anything unnecessary, and just all around enjoyed the experience. She said she would definitely go back, and even my mother is going to make an appointment for herself! The prices seemed extremely fair, but I am going by Chicago standards after all, where I easily pay double for the same thing. When I came here, this place had a wait for those that made reservations online but when I showed up there were only a few people that were ahead of me.
