BEWARE, PLEASE READ!! Due to neglect & patient abandonment, Dr Nguyen caused me to go downhill fast. After she ran off her ONLY PA's (that were caring for me under her), In her words, "You are a 30 minute patient and I only have 10 min per patient find someone else." She failed to provide continuity of care, a referral to another doctor, or any additional assistance. In my most serious time of need, she abandoned me due to the complexity of my case. In her words, "Everything wrong with you! Go somewhere else." I was seeing her PA's Tom Pham & Drew Reynolds but they walked out the same week without giving her notice. According to her staff, due to her anger issues they finally had enough. I had been there when she and Tom would scream & yell at each other and it was kind of scary & very unprofessional but I just thought it was an isolated incident and didn't dwell on it. Everyone has their bad days. However, I was continuing to get more sick & PA Drew wouldn't order certain tests & medication due to her disapproval of his thinking outside the box ways. She had control issues clearly but when it affects patient outcomes that's when it's more than concerning. Once her only PA's walked out, she was juggling both the Lake Nona & Dean Rd locations as the ONLY MD/provider until she hired Deann Le. However, Deann would only prove to back Dr Nguyen's conduct by also offering no assistance stating, "According to Dr Nguyen, you have to go somewhere else for your care." As it turns out, I now have been told that I have multiple overlapping autoimmune diseases & related complications due to the delay of care & for lack of care continuity. If you value your life or that of your loved ones, please go to a provider who WILL not limit your visits based on money alone but rather, a responsible physician. I found Dr Sarah Siddiqui and I'm thankful that I did. She's also in Lake Nona. I don't leave a serious review like this lightly. I finally left it in the hopes of maybe saving someone else from the nightmare that my family has had to endure due to her negligence. If you're really complex I can also recommend UF Health Shands in Gainsville (I was there for 2 weeks) and/or a referral to the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville (went there as well for 4 months). read more

I've been going to Express Family Clinic for years, but suddenly, things aren't so good. Yesterday morning, I woke up to see significant blood in my urine, in the toilet. I got an appointment right away; good so far. My appointment was at 11:20 am, and at exactly 12:19, Tristen walked in, citing computer issues causing delays. By the way, Tristen is the shining star over there. She's GREAT. She checked my urine, and was alarmed over something serious causing it, like a kidney stone. She got me an urgent appointment at an MRI facility in Kissimmee, and I braved the 5 pm parking lot on the turnpike to go get my MRI scan. But this morning, all the air went out of the "urgent" tire. Tristen happened to be sick, and apparently, no one else is able to read my results and get back to me. I called several times through the morning, wondering about my fate. It's now almost 2 pm, and the doctor just can't be bothered with getting back to me. So I talked to Christian at the Dean Rd office, and expressed my umbrage over this. I told him that Tristen is out sick, but I'm going to need someone else to call me with my results. His response was to repeat my own words and say that Tristen was out, and the doctors have other patients. In other words, "Sir, we've dropped the ball, but it's not our fault. I had a bad experience here in my last appointment for my annual physical check up, i have 4pm schedule and they took me in the room and i sat there for 45 minutes without anybody updating or telling me that i will be seen. I got up and ask the staff and they just said if i want to re schedule without even apologizing. I am upset that they were not even concerned that i was waiting for a while not even a single apology. She is so attentive and caring, that I have followed her from her old location and now drive an hour to still see her in person. They do virtual visits, as well. The doctor and all PAs there are very friendly and asked patients more questions to be sure for proper treatment(s). Waiting time normally around 40 minutes to be seen which is acceptable at any doctor's office. Particularly on Tuesday is a little bit faster. I agreed with some others about receptionists who need to be trained for more actively with calling in telephones. This is a good PCP office to go for one's health care. QN read more

New to the area and recently had surgery. I needed to find a place that could remove my stitches. Went to this place and after removing only 3 of the stitches I left upset and stressed. The lack of compassion and zero bedside manner from the doctor was appalling. Would not recommend. read more

I've had only good experiences at EFC. The location is close to my job, so that's a plus. I met with Dr. Pham for a wellness check, and he was very friendly and competent. The front desk staff are efficient and good at their job. Sadly, I can't say that about many health providers in Orlando. I'll stick with them as long as they're around. read more

one of the best family primary care dr's and clinics in east orlando. gabby goes out of her way to help obtain records and help patients with anything. dr michelle ngyuyen keeps all her pa's up to date on the newest procedures. great for a primary care clinic!. ex-rays, ekgs, labs they do it all... i will say drew reynolds pa will be sadly missed and if he happens to read this please contact me via email or facebook. never want to change but i truly believe drew reynolds pa had all his patients best interests at heart and i will recommend him wherever he may be. i just need to know myself !!! read more

I have been seeing Dr Michelle Nguyen since I first moved to lake Nona 12-13 years ago. She is an amazing doctor, considerate, compassionate, and she listens. It isn't easy to find such a quality doctor that listens to your issues and doesn't make you feel like your taking up too much of their time. She runs a tight ship and Tom Pham is also very knowledgeable and caring. The staff here is also very welcoming and efficient. My only disappointment is that they stopped taking Saturday appointments which was a really awesome service. However they are still open on Saturday 9-2 for walk-in patients. I don't think the current score on Yelp accurately reflects the business. I don't normally do reviews but did one for them because I saw that they had a lower score that the one they deserve. Someone actually gave them one star because they arrived late and they had stopped taking patients for the day. Every doctors that excepts walk-in closes their door 15 minutes before the clinic closes or the doctors won't be able to leave. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. My husband called them gave all of the info they needed and told them we were on the way. When we arrived the doors would not open, so we called them and finally she decided to tell us that they were closed. What kind of people tell you they can help you and then close when you get there. This place is beyond ridiculous when it comes to follow up and customer service. I submitted a request for a refill for a simple inhaler which I was suppose to get an answer within 48 hours. 3 days later -no response. I had to call back only for them to tell me the doctor need to see me AGAIN in order to submit the refill. Judging by their actions this place only care about making money off of pointless appointments. Literally all the doctor does is check my blood pressure and listens to my breathing and says ok here's your prescription for an inhaler. Last time they had me sitting in the waiting room for 2 hours for an 8 minute appointment. Complete waste of time. Don't let them waste yours. read more

If you're looking for a PCP in the Lake Nona area I would highly recommend this place. All of the employee so far have been very nice and accommodating. In addition they accept most insurance plans, however double check with your individual policy. Dr. Michelle Nguyen is a board-certified physician and is very family oriented. You can believe that she and her team are extremely dedicated to making sure that your health care is in good hands lab will work with you to get the best possible results.
