I was very excited to work with this company, up to and until, my questions were not being answered and I was ghosted (Ash). They did the home measurements, went over options and price. We stated that we needed a cost that worked within our budget. They came down but were still over the price we had spoken about. **They knew our price from the jump and kept telling us they would keep trying and use as many deductions they could.*** I was told if I slimmed down the rooms I wanted it might work. I took off a very large portion and out stairs. They came back with a price out of budget and kept the stairs in when we said we would take those out. I asked to review our carpet selection and inquired about stretching what we currently have in the area we were willing to not do. This is when it all fell apart. After carpet was installed the end of August. I noticed it was flat and looked old. I contacted company and they sent someone to look at it. I was told it looked 5 years old. Company said they would contact manufacturer of carpet. After months contacting them I was told they had not heard from manufacturer. Today, after many months of no response I was informed the carpet is not defective and will not replace the carpet. Their carpet is of poor quality and the do not stand behind their product. Don't do it, the sales guy told me that the floors would not scratch under normal condition. I asked him what about kids and pets. He told me that the floors were commercial grade and they would be fine. After a year the wood planks are starting to separate and one section of the floor has cracked and they have had to come and repair it. As for the planks that are separating, the sales manager came by and said that was due to the small gas furnace we had. But I asked him, why are they separating in the kitchen and his response was, it could be the sun coming through the window. I told him the sales manager came by also said I should have leftover pieces in case I need to replace or add some to an opening I may add. I didn't have any material left and he said it was probably because they had cuts to do that were not expected. In other words the sales man lied to us about the floors being durable and wouldn't scratch. I couldn't believe that he was telling me the planks were separated due to the unstable heating in the house. Just a bunch of empty promises and lies. I paid more than 8000.00 to get three rooms tiled and regret I had them done with this company. read more

Always unpleasant having your home ripped up, does not put you in a mood to say good things. I had a poor carpet installation from when I bought the house, of inferior material. After 10 years it looked terrible. This job took a little longer than expected (by about a half day, they ran out of material at the end and I had to wait a day for the last bit. Specific communication was a little difficult, my Spanish is not great, neither was their English. We got by with help from Google translate. The workers worked very hard, and were very meticulous laying down my floor. It was extremely well done, and it feels like I live in a new house. The edge where the carpet met painted walls is showing how bad the last remodelers were, I was warned beforehand by the salesman that this might be the case. So I have some paint touching up to do, but what the installers were responsible for they did a beautiful job of. In the balance, I am extremely pleased with the work, and the week of inconvenience was well worth the end result. read more

Very disappointed with my experience. I was overcharged by $300 after a no-show on the first installation day, and the credit I was promised was never applied. The installation itself was full of issues--scratched floors, damaged walls, poorly cut baseboards, visible gaps, and incomplete work. Their project manager acknowledged the problems and assured me every would be fixed and replaced. He said this is not the quality of work they provide but it's been over two weeks with no follow-up. I've reached out to multiple people, including Tony Lopez, Marla, and Juliet Grosskopf, and have been completely ignored. None of them will answer calls. Return calls or respond to text messages. For the price I paid, this level of service is unacceptable. I feel very taken advantage of, and saddened I'm stuck with this bill and having to spend even more money to fix their poor work. Misrepresented their products, lied about having "certified" workers... when I called them on saying "certified" Danny at the AZ headquarters changed his tune and clarified that all hired floor layers have a minimum of 5 years experience. When I told him that I was cancelling my order because of all the bad reviews Danny said, oh, that's just YELP. But I cancelled because of bad reviews on the BBB website. At 3pm precisely I get a call whereby they gathered the same information plus a little more. I asked the agent it sounds like no one is coming by today as I requested on your website, he said he's finishing gathering information and would see if anyone was available. Nope, no one today but offered tomorrow, no I went in your web site and set today. Next I have is 12/17.. they don't do calendars out beyond two weeks. On December 15th I reached out to Express Flooring to get a quote for new floors for my house. Their sales representative Elijah Montoya showed up that same afternoon and convinced me that the job would be easy and quick. Elijah stated that they would be able to start on Friday the 19th and would likely finish the job by the 20th, but if any issues came up they would for sure finish by the following Monday December 22nd. This seemed to be reasonable as the house is relatively large, and sometimes things come up. The crew arrived on Friday and got right to work. Around noon the main installer Alex said he needed to talk to me because he realized that he did not have enough carpet to finish the job and that more materials needed to be ordered. I understood, (sometimes these things happen) and I asked him to make sure that the other materials were complete so that there would not be any additional delays. Alex told me not to worry, that they would get the materials and finish the job on Monday. Alex explained that they normally get shipments of materials on Tuesday, but since it was Christmas week the delivery was going to be pushed up (this was a lie). The next day Saturday 20th the crew starts installing the LVT flooring, and surprise, they also did not have enough to complete the job. They installed what they could and before leaving early on Saturday, they asked me to sign the contract that stated the installation was complete. Since the job was not close to being done, I refused to sign (I was afraid of getting the short end of the stick). Alex did not take kindly to me not signing, but it is what it is. The crew left early. As soon as they left I saw the mess that they had left behind. They had stained some of the carpet, bathroom doors and new bathroom flooring. They damaged some of the drywall while removing the baseboards. I took pictures of everything and I called Alex to ask if they could fix those issues. Alex never answered the phone, so after 2 days I called Ethan whom I was told by Elijah, was the manager and the guy to call if anything happened. Ethan answered the phone but immediately transferred to Marlo who handles the install side of the business, because in Ethan's own words, "I don't handle those issues". So I explained to Marlo what my concerns were, and she had an excuse to justify everything. After 20 minutes I stopped trying to convince her that I was telling her the truth and offered to text her the pictures instead. Marlo gave me a number and I texted her pictures of everything. She said that they will fix it. Tuesday December 22nd the crew is back and gets to finishing the areas that they did not have enough materials for, promising they will fix the issues from the last time once they are done installing the remaining materials. As they are installing the floor in my upstairs bathroom I notice that they are staining the upstairs landing, stairs and downstairs carpet. I ask them what is going on? I cant understand why they would do such a bad job when they are coming to fix previous issues. The crew tells me that they will fix it, and they call it a night saying they will be back tomorrow at 7:30am to patch everything up. They arrive at 9:30am (2 hours late) and start placing patches on the stains. I start to notice that they don't have enough materials to fix the stains. I start texting Marlo that I'm afraid they are not going to be able to fix the carpet with the materials they have left. I tell the crew that the patch job is not going to work for me (it looks really bad). I tell Alex what is going on, and that I think they need to replace more of the carpet, because the quality of flooring is not up to par. Alex then tells me that he is losing money because he has had to come back several times and that Express Flooring is not paying him because I haven't signed that the job is done and that I don't want to pay. I show Alex the receipt that I was already fully billed and had in fact paid for all the work(that was not completed, or botched) and that I was sorry that he was not being paid, but that had nothing to do with me. I contacted Marlo again after Alex left and arranged to speak with Tony the manager on Friday the 26th, as I was told he would make sure these issues are handled. Tony did not call me on Friday. I was later told he was too busy. I called Marlo back on Monday the 29th to follow up on the issues. She said that Tony will call me right back. He called me later that afternoon. He said he saw the pictures and that he was going to order new materials and get everything fixed. Tony came to my house that afternoon with Martin, who is Alex's boss, and they measured everything. They told me that they could fix everything on Wednesday the 31st. Today Martin came out and replaced everything and fixed all the issues that he could. I called Tony and we talked about everything that had happened and I told him that due to all the issues and delays with the job that I read more

After 2 years on installing new floors, my toilet had a slow leak until the toilet burst!! Causing major floor and furnace damage. This company advertise 70% discount to get you interested but it's not true. They are only interested in selling you expensive material, they come in and do a very sloppy job! Quick in and out! They don't evaluate your floors properly. When you complain, they come in with tape, cardboard, and glue to fix the problem. I had a contractor come in to repair and replace my bathroom floors. He said there was 4 layers of old flooring that needed to be removed, that's why my toilet burst, it was set too high. To have my bathroom done properly, it took the contractor 1 week. Also, the installer removed only half of the old flooring in the kitchen, left it wobbly and it moves. All the edges had open spaces. Never heard back from sales rep. Day after installation, charged our bank full amount. Trying to get back the funds and start the payment plan has been awful. We were told Corporate was notified and would call us or email. Nope, nothing. We should have read the reviews before. Shame on us for that. You get what you pay for. read more

I have two 12x12 rooms. I wanted laminate flooring at the advertised 75% off. The two salespeople came out. Gave me the car sales pitch. $10k for the two rooms. NO! They gave me the discounts. Now 8k. NO! Oh let us talk to our mgr. Now $4k... wife gave in. ( I did my homework check prices should cost no more then $2500. ) I called to cancel. I told the contact person I would not be there because I teach, so I created a 4 digit code for the workers to get in and he said he would meet them at the house. They showed up without ANY of that information being relayed to them. Since I was teaching, I didn't hear my doorbell so they left and haven't bothered to call me back, or call the office back! So I am now out $600 and all my food is in danger of spoiling because it had to be moved. read more

Local contractors that have 13 year old boys working. Jordan was the usual salesman, misleading and no where to be found after the agreement was signed. Promised 4 days, and it took over a week. Left a family of 5 without toilets which could have been avoided with a professional planning. Grout everywhere, damaged walls, disgusting messes left for us to clean. The mortar has stained my exterior entry way into the my home. What was once brown landscaping is now gray. Beyond upset with this company. Most upsetting, being stolen from. I had carpeting replaced in my living room and master bedroom. The carpet is horrible with extreme shading. It looks wet and already thread bare in spots after only 5 months. Predatory company. We were lied to about the quality of the flooring and overcharged. The flooring was scratched before the installers even left the house. The flooring was sold to us as durable, commercial grade (to justify the higher price), scratch resistant, high traffic etc. Paid over $12 a sq ft and that was "on sale" for something that doesn't even fit the needs we told them we had. They recommended this flooring. We said we needed something highly durable and hard to damage. They sold us something that can't even stand up to scooting in an empty chair. They don't tell you the real brand of the flooring when they sell it to you. I got the info off the boxes when it was being installed and it is both not what we were told it was and not priced as high as they charged anywhere else. To be clear, we didn't cause said scratches. We had walked barely 5 ft on the new floor when we noticed it and hadn't touched or moved anything. The installers were very nice and did their best to make the install process a good experience but that's the only good thing I can say about this company.​​ read more
