We were in the shopping center nearby and I decided to stop here. They had been bombarding my emails with all sorts of sales and promotions. You know how you browse every section cause you'd really like to buy something? This is what I did. There were some good bargains but nothing that jumped out and said buy me or that were in my size or that I really needed clothes wise. I like to look through the housewares and gift and food sections, too. I usually find some clearance item to try that I wouldn't buy at regular price. And sometimes I find something worthwhile. Unfortunately, this time no luck. I'm sure I'd stop by here again if in the area -- even though we didn't get anything this time. I love the deals I can get at Marshall's. One of the best things to get are perfumes and colognes....especially if I am looking for a gift...they have a large selection of famous name brand perfumes which makes it easy to choose. The store was not too busy when I went recently so I was able to leisurely spend time doing my research and checking out my options. I had one of the worst experiences at this Marshalls today. I purchased an outfit that should contain 6 pieces total (3 shorts and 3 tops) for my baby girl. I was so excited because it was just what I was looking for. However when I got home I realized that only 4 out of the 6 were there. So I drove back to marsthr same day and waited in a very long line to kindly ask them to pro rate it sine 2 items were missing and I had paid full price. The cashier returned it and then took it away saying they needed 7 days to search the store. I was not allowed to purchase it. I asked to speak with a manager and ended up leaving the store empty handed and completely upset. I took tone out of my day to pick out an adorable outfit for my baby girl, made two trips to the store, waited in line only to be told I'm not allowed to purchase an item for 7 days while they search the store. What if I need the outfit before 7 days? What if I'm not from the area? What about the inconvenience for a mom to come multiple times to a store? What about customer satisfaction? All I wanted is for them to give me a fair discount for the items that were Missing and I would have left a happy satisfied customer. Instead I left completely upset for the precious time out of my day wasted and angry that I absolutely loved this outfit and was being told I cannot purchase it. Worst experience ever Marshalls. Everything went ok, good products, and no line. However, the cashier woman offered us a Rewards card to get 10%off in our purchase. I asked her is that a rewards card or a credit card application, she goes it's a rewards card for you to accumulate points every time you purchase. When I read the application it asks for my ssn and so I told her why is it asking for my ssn? She goes oh because you have to apply for both, credit card application and rewards card and then they decide which one you get. I told her I don't wanna apply for a credit card, she says oh that's how it goes you need to apply for both. Does this qualify as Scam?? read more

In hopes that a manager or someone who is in a higher position reads this and re-trains their staff in the way the communicate with customers. I rarely frequent this Marshall's due to the fact that I live on the west side of town. I came today specifically to return a couple of dresses that didn't fit but could not find my receipt so I didn't have one with me. As I have been in the same situation before I simply tell the customer service associate that I don't have my receipt but I can give her the CC that I paid with so they can refund (as I have done at other Marshall's). She tells me it can only be store credit. I tell her ok, no worries I have retuned things in the past at another Marshall's this way so I just assumed it would be fine, but I will just take the clothes back and look for the receipt at home. She proceeds to tell me that it's not possible because they don't keep track of any one's credit information and that none of the marshalls would allow that. I respond again that it's fine and that I know what I've experienced in the past but that it was not a big deal (at this point I'm getting annoyed because of her tone and volume). She continues to tell me (pretty aggressively) that she has been there 5 years and that she KNEW that was not possible (implying I'm lying) and that if someone did that, it was illegal. She proceeded to take out a big ass book and said she was going to call them "right now" and that "I want you to stay right here while I call". I thought I was getting punked. I responded "You can go ahead and call on your own time if you'd like, but I won't be here while you do. I know what I'm talking about. Have a nice day." Regardless if she was right and employees are not supposed to refund without a receipt, the overall attitude and production was not needed. I debated writing this but if you (cashier) are reading the this, I hope you see brighter days and try not to escalate small inconveniences, into something it doesn't have to be. Life is short and not everything needs a reaction. read more

It is only fitting my 400th review be of a Marshall's which is my favorite store. I only wish that we could give half stars as this location is a 3.5 stars but since I have no halves to give it deserves a 4 as I love the chain as a whole. I guess it's because I love saving money and you can buy anything and everything you want under one roof. This location I seem to never find clothes for myself or any one else on my list. But the home section is always great! Last visit a Cynthia Rowley beach chair it has nice wooden arm rests, cup holder and pillow for your head at $24.95. Than I got a king sized bed cover light weight included 2 matching shams for $49.95. This visit I was returning a top I got at the Aventura location yesterday that I never tried on and got Coach pink leather sandals on clearance for $44.00. Also got a big ass citronella Tommy Bahama candle for $19.95. Most importantly I got matching pink and green flamingo bowls as I got the plates already at the Aventura location. As well as serving trays set of 2 $7.99. Very much needed for that outdoor entertaining by the pool. Both today and yesterday I had seen a kayak at a great price but I need to think about that one. Look forward to my next visit and you never know what I will find next. read more

Not all Marshall's are created equal... ok, maybe they are created equal but they don't exist on equal ground. This was just an ok location and didn't draw me into any particular area for more discovery. I looked in my "usual" health and beauty aisles but found noting of interest and not even the typical selection. After a few minutes, I was bored and made my way to the door. :-( read more

What is not mentioned: Marshall's on Hollywood Blvd. at Orange does not have a parking lot. No validations at Marshall's. I spent 45 minutes driving around for meter rather than paying $20.00 hr. Ladies, if you have large feet, tell your children NOT to give you (or anyone) Marshall's gift cards. I have a $250.00 gift card and not a pair of woman's size 11's (Me and Paris Hilton) shoes in the store. Zip. None. If they were decent, they'd refund a fifth of my $250.00 so I can buy shoes elsewhere. read more

Useful place to get things! I always found something I need jackets, household, and electronics. Everything from A-Z. To be honest I love the clearance. I just like it because of the huge discounts. This place sells used clothes. I bought a shirt from this Marshalls without trying it on. It ended up not fitting and when I went to return it to the Marshalls near me they informed me that they would not take it back as it's been worn and I'd have to take it back to Hollywood. I finally made it back to this Marshalls after the 30 day return period. They informed me that they would never sell a shirt like this. They're not saying I did it, but they didn't either. So apparently this brand new shirt got dirty and smelly by some magical force that Marshalls isn't responsible for. I got store credit which I'm not thrilled about considering it's not my fault they accepted a used shirt as a return and then actually put it back on the shelf. Just awful. read more

Definitely not the nicest or most organized Marshall's. The shoes section (both men and women) was especially a disaster. But we found some of the shirts/clothes we were looking for for my husband, so can't complain there, especially since you (usually) just can't beat the prices they have. The register line moved relatively fast and the girl who rang us up was nice and even thanked us for shopping with them. So although not the most organized of places we would probably come back to this Marshall's if in the area again. read more

This is my neighborhood Marshall's and consistently now with the opening of Dania Point there is a long long line and only three checkers open. It never changes. Where is the customer service and why the ridiculous unnecessary wait ? I have left there so many times with a full basket because of the wait. I cannot be the only one. Don't waste people's time!! Disappointed with this Marshall's. This is the second time that I brought a return that I purchased at a Marshall's Superstore to the Marshall's of Hollywood and they were unable to process the return despite my receipt for the return titled with the name Marshall's. They stated that the item was a Homegoods item and therefore had to be returned to a Homegoods store. This is not stated anywhere on the receipt. In my view this is a customer service issue that needs to be addressed ASAP. read more

I think Marshall started his outlet on St. Thomas and I likjed that store, but that was in another universe. They still have Polo shirts for $29.00 and you can stumble on some other rather interesting finds in the cashmere department. It's way ahead of the competition for my money. read more

I don't think Marshalls headquarters will read this review, but if they do I really hope they check this store out. I've been to my share of Marshalls. I love it and know what to expect and this store is absolutely not up to typical standards. The entire store is a disheveled mess that is chaotic to look through. Staff was unpleasant and nobody seemed to know what was going on. There weren't clear sections. I couldn't even find a real career section, the dresses were all over, everything was mixed up. Yes, you normally have to do some digging, but this is just careless. read more

This Marshall's was just like any other I've been to. Yes you have to search the racks, but it's a designer discount store which is usually what you get. They have a nice selection of women's and junior's clothes to the point I visited the fitting room three times and decided I would have to come back to go through the junior's department after already finding more than I could afford in the women's department. The reason I gave 4 stars is that the wait to checkout was ridiculous - though the cashier did apologize when I finally got there. I'll definitely be visiting again to see what else I can find. read more
